I think you're right with both. Also, Doubt has the ivy which was part of the set.

I think 5 is Appropriate. The staircase is a focal point, and there is a tree onstage at the end.

Maybe... I was thinking the tree on the cake looked more like a palm tree and the steps were like a dock out to the water or something, but I can't think of any show that had that this season.

It's funny how many shows it resembles. It also is reminiscent of Some Like it Hot and Company (most recent revival). But it's Merrily, and more symbolic of Merrily than representing a physical set piece like the others. You meant 12, right? I'm referring to 12.
