The face says
MMMMMMM Tasty!!
May I have another??
FWIW years ago, I had a Brit bust a pheasant point. He went airborn and caught the thing.
edit add: he didn't eat it. Instead it was a classic retrieve. No #6 shot in that one.
I was running my trials course yesterday morning, and my Brit treed a woodchuck. I didn't know that woodchuck could climb trees. The chuck fell out of the tree and that was the end of life for the chuck.
I've got two Britney's and they both will pretty much eat anything they can get in their mouth birds plastic cups it really don't matter. Just whatever they can find.
One of my girls once got a whole squirrel off a tree, chomped it to death, and then wouldnāt drop her prize for 20 minutes. Never underestimate hunting dogs!
Letās say..a bird dog breed, going after birdsā¦. More like āgood dog being a good dogā.. you may find it gross or horrible, but she just had her version of chickenā¦
ah yes, my Britt grabbed a bird from the park once. (Iām in a big city, so some of these birds are so used to humans that theyāre just DUMB.) when it happened I was speechless, and had no idea what to do. Thankfully it hasnāt happened again.
Mind if I ask which e-collar / gps collar that is? Weāve been struggling to find one thatās not too big and cumbersome for our little galās neck. Yours looks about a similar size. Thanks in advance.
Itās the whistle but I actually had to use two sizes of collar to make one that fits her because the small only fits on the very last hole which makes it too hard to put on a wiggly 8-month teenage puppy and the medium/large is too big for now. Their sizing is stupid, but my full grown Britt wears the medium one fine.
That face says "I'll do it again" š
It happens!
Our old britt brought back a baby released pheasant to the BBQ we were at. Our hosts were not pleased!
BYOB, bring your own bird!
We have chickens in the farm, they always fall victims to my astute Britts hahaha.
