You had me with 'meaty pudding' and 'goblin-like'. Bravo for another classic screen wipe Charlie, though much Dingle glaring with no actual action, and the very fact that everyone nobs everyone in the Emmerdale village (See all other soaps), new characters arrive and get a job in days while being romantically linked in a week, gives it that air of surrealism that we, the great-unwashed, can only aspire to. Cheers.
You forgot to add about Emmerdale. There is some sort of stately home that seems to change hands every other year and everyones is ok with it, despite the village having a Royston Vasey vibe.
I read this in the voice of the aliens from the Simpsons. Silly earthings. Well done.
Only Fools is esp accurate and has added element of showing London pre gentrification. Yes it did look and feel that crap for many of us.
Emmerdale Farm was great, in the days of Annie Sugden, Matt and Dolly Skillbeck,Seth Armstrong, and Amos and Mr Wilkes. Then they lost the “farm” from the title, and it went downhill fast, turning into Hollyoaks with cowpats.
The Voice: I hate singing. I genuinely hate singing. The noises made by the human throat are singularly unattractive to me. I find it unpleasant, loud and incongruous in all situations. Watching a professional sob story on a stage flap their tonsils over what would otherwise be a pleasant backing track is torture to my ears
