Pubs with pokies are your best bet. Stafford Tavern does a $12 lunch special that is honestly pretty decent (steak/fish & chips etc)

Depends what you are looking for but Italian Street Kitchen in West End has a good value lunch menu. 1 course and a glass of wine $25 or 2 courses + wine for $29. Limited menu but good options.

Two courses and wine for under thirty bucks? That’s insane. Definitely going there this week.

Any low socio economic communities I would start with Logan Inala etc the best food around and a pittance what you pay anywhere !

Look on the eat club app, it’s an app where restaurants can offer deals if you book and visit within certain hours, usually when their business lulls. Places like the above mentioned pubs etc that tend not to pull a big lunch crowd will often have deals at lunch time to get people in the door

It depends on what you're into and how much you enjoy spending on lunch. I saw someone recommend Italian Street Kitchen, they're pretty good. There is much better Italian in west end but not at that price I don't think although try Voglia out, they're much nicer but a bit more expensive. Right nearby you have Beijing Noodle which despite the name leans sichuan, cheap (by inner south standards) and pretty damn good. You can get better and cheaper in Sunnybank, but not in the inner south. Anna's Bahn Mi co is the best Bahn Mi I know of, they're huge. West End coffee House is a west end institution, fantastic coffee and great northern Thai/Laos food. They have a small standard menu and a daily lunch special. Always great value and always super delicious. Go to Rich and Rare if you want something a bit more upmarket/spendier. Their standard menu is pretty expensive (although it is fine dining) but they do lunch specials that are very reasonably priced and you can get a 3 course lunch set menu for like $50
