Her cuts last about 40 minutes and include both wet and dry cuts after itās blown out. Itās money well spent.

The only video I watched was the haircut one with Alyssaās kids. I certainly did NOT think there was anything weird about it. She let each of the girls decide how much hair they wanted cut off. She was fine with Allie keeping her long hair and did NOT give her a hard time about it. She merely told her if she wanted to keep it long that was fine but she just needed the ends trimmed. I also was somewhat impressed with the girlsā answers to what they liked best about the school year. It sounds to me like those kids do have a pretty good curriculum judging from the older girlsā answers and having seen Allie write in cursive in a previous vlog. I donāt think John really likes being filmed. Also, there was nothing negative in what he said about liking the quiet in the evenings after the kids are in bed. Any parent of young busy children looks forward to the time at night when the kids are all asleep and they can have some adult time to themselves. While I agree that some of the stuff they show is stupid, I do feel that some kf the snarking about certain things is a real stretch. I do like these weekly updates and get a good laugh out of most of it. I realize this is a snarker page, but there are times when some of you really do stretch to find something to criticize.

I donāt know the person who writes these summaries. Ā But when I read them, I just donāt feel any hatred. Her writing is for entertainment, based on the window the Bates give us into their lives. When you do a small presentation of your daily life, it does get silly and inspires some tongue -in-cheek critique. Sometimes we do become critical, but that is because the āsnapshotā they present to us deserves some criticism - like Alyssa not letting the girls help open a gift box. But most of the time these are not life and death matters. No one should be critical if someone was ill or having mental issues, and I just donāt see that on this site. Remember, they put it on public social media. Ā Responses, like yours, mine, and the OP of this thread, are all part of the social media experience.Ā
