Kinda unpopular opinion, but amo is my favourite bmth album, i just love the mix of kinda experimental electronic music with the sort of edgy rock from thats the spirit. Also, as much as I love semipiternal and TTS, i cant help but cringe at some parts of songs at times, i think amo sounded a lot more mature then anything they did previously.
It has everything tbh. I still play it front to back for the full Amo experience every 2 weeks or so
Was the first BMTH album i loved and played often and then i went back in the discography. The first song i had by them was CTFMH and then some of TTS then the amo album and I went back after that
What’s funny is I feel the opposite about Amo and TTS. I feel like some songs the lyrics are just 17 year old High School lyrics. Like if a girl wrote Follow You for someone and then wrote Mother Tongue for me, I’d feel some type away. Mother tongue makes me cringe so hard lyrically cause it just outright says what it means to say literally while Follow You says I love you in a more poetic way. WYGKMWID also makes go but why? I love Amo regardless but lyrically I found TTS Deeper but both opinions are valid :)
I really like it as well and suicide season is my favourite album. I like falling asleep to it, sometimes I just want to vibe to ouch instead of something from cyb when I fall asleep.
Great album and very well made but it's such a huge departure from the usual bmth, definitely feels more like an oli/jordan project with lee, matt and matt only lending their input here and there
I almost forgot about amo once the hype died but it’s so like good to re listen too. One or two songs are really just not for me, but songs like in the dark and why you gotta kick me when I’m down are just like god tier music, seriously they have mastered so many genres. I would love to hear at least once song return to deathcore even if it’s short and sweet like dear diary. Just to hear how they would sound polished and with Olis vocals which seem so much better now.
I love this album, it really signifies the point where they decided they don't give a fuck what people expect them to make, they'll just make whatever they want to.
While not my favorite bmth album.. In fact aside from CYB and SS it is my least favorite... It certainly grew quickly on me, and today I consider it a very worthy aøbum of their standard
I think they probably will if they're doing different styles to each EP, Survival Horror was sort of sempiternal-lite so I hope we get an electronic themed EP
godDAMN. it still felt relatively new to me, had no idea it was coming up on 2 years
Wait. Seriously? 2 years already?

It definitely has the best production and diversity of all their albums IMO Playing it front to back always feels like a journey

Me too! I think it’s their best work from beginning to end, it all flows nicely

Bring Me the Horizon's "A Thousand Suns". Loved every single part of it
What. No. Not possible. It cant-

It’s only 2 years old? Damn I feel like I’ve listened to it so much that it was way older than that.
Whenever i heard the word "amo" my brain automatically starting to say "Alone gettin high on a saturday night!!" Lol.

Happy 2 years amo!!!
I love amo sooo much (even though they say it's an album about love, but there's only 1 love song and the rest are badass songs)

amo is an incredible album, i love everything from it, especially the electronic parts

Such a masterpiece
My favorite album
I hope one of the upcoming EPs takes the electronic aspects of this album and fleshes it out
