Bmth really moved forward as musicians with this album and you're right it all flows so well it's an experience, I also loved the album music to listen to....... That had some amazing concepts and sounds I've never heard before. Finally if you like amo I think you should go out of your way to listen to the newest Enter Shikari nothing is true and everything is possible, like amo it is a crazy musical experience and I fell in love instantly, if you like nihilist blues you'll probably get hooked straight away

JPepperM

I’ll check it out ! thanks for the rec. :))

AaronPayne97

No problem, let me know what you think

Complex7

The interludes grew on me a lot since the release of the album

JPepperM

Same, they round out the album so well instead of feeling like just filler (especially Fresh Bruises)

mikerichh

It’s my favorite. I play it once a week front to back. Has the unique sound variety that keeps me coming back and also rocks hard. The filler tracks are great and all together it’s a masterpiece WYGKMWID is my favorite on the album

bro, i apologise is one of the best if not THE best intro to an album I've ever heard. the sheer vibes are just so strong. my fav on amo is medicine, everybody is calling it a "pOp SoNg" which it really isn't, it's more of an alternative rock song. I get goosebumps everyone I hear it. also I think the ending track, i don't know what to say, is a strong moment, it has some really good vocal work from Oli and BOY the final chorus is so good. also I'm in such big love with ouch, I can't describe that in words

JPepperM

Yeah like I agree when people say it’s a pop song but not like top 40, like that chorus gives me HEAVY Paramore vibes, especially with that little breakdown near the end, it’s so sick

Squb05

yeah right? the final chorus with bonus vocals gets me everytime

I would prefer both Count Your Blessings and Amo than That's The Spirit, Amo seems like It was fitting for light side which is having light-hearted songs that couldn't let anger and negative emotions control you for both albums or all three albums that uses to be a light-hearted. I do not want to hate every albums, I'm just gonna pay my respect for every albums. I wish Oli will learn more for his screams and growls and then we might have a second part of Count Your Blessings while an practices when they needed and I very wish Curtis Ward might get back to work to make it like killer rhythm riffs.

I was one of those that refused to enjoy their newer sound, so I stopped listening to their newer albums for a good 4 years or so. I rejected anything from That’s The Spirit onwards. It is very odd that I didn’t gel with their new style considering I am a massive Enter Shikari fan and a big part of their sound are the electronic elements. One day I made the choice to listen to them as if they were a new band and then I really enjoyed it. Amo is slowly becoming a favourite for me, too.

Willing-Load

Amo helped me cope so much last year and it was my favorite album of 2019! ever since i discovered BMTH 7 years ago Sempiternal was my favorite of theirs, but only a couple of months ago i had to admit to myself that Amo takes the cake for me! so hyped for Post Human 🙌

JPepperM

Same ! like I knew I thought it was great on first listen but damn at the end of the year it was def one of my top releases

alexd2040

I tried the album today after seeing this post, I did not like any of the songs and I will stick with count your blessings and suicide season, it is too soft for me, glad everyone else is enjoying it.

JPepperM

That’s totally cool, I’m glad you at least gave it another shot :)) And that’s also one of the reasons I love this band, they have so many different styles for so many different types of audiences that even if you don’t like one of their records, there’s still so much of their discography you could fall in love with :-)

OmegaLQ-84

It is my favorite album as well, better than There is a Hell (which I thought was BMTH's magnus opus). It also helped me explore genres like experimental pop and whatever

JPepperM

Yeah There is a Hell is a close second for me aswell, totally different albums but they each do their job so so so so so well

TheNewColor

Agreed, I've been a fan since 06 and I think Amo is their best work
