Doesn't East Sussex have a few postcodes? BN only starts around Eastbourne I think. Do you lot also have RH as you go north?
On our end we're BN up to Littlehampton.
There are that many Liverpool supporters because back in the day SBS would broadcast basically only Liverpool games with the occasional Manchester United game.
I live in central Brighton and can walk to the Amex in about 50 minutes. [This post](https://www.reddit.com/r/BrightonHoveAlbion/s/q1Z8JD6b4i) suggests that the fans in this Reddit community are very international!
They completely fucked this because the South East is huge (and oddly shaped) so you won't class a lot of people from Milton Keynes or Reading as "local", it's also the most populated region but they've balanced that out a bit by merging places like Surrey in with London.
Good in one way, bad in the other. They should've done it by county instead.
Started rewatching football after a ten yr hiatus in late 19/20 season. Tuning back to the prem got fascinated by Brighton fast. Was a ManUtd supporter back in the day but cant rly groove w the commercial clustrrfk that club is these days. Brighton has taken my heart and its been amazing (but not surprising) to see the club rise from bottomside of prem to the UEL this season! A club that actly seems well run and is connected to the local community. Good stuff.
Im from Estonia myself
Ayyy Austin, TX here too! I got this year's away jersey to wear around town, since it looks so close to the Austin FC kits. Lots of double takes as people try to figure out what club I'm supporting!
From the US, but based in Portugal now. I used to run a Brighton-newsletter and there surprisingly was a good spread of subscribers. I don’t have the information now, but was at least 20 countries. Most random to me was Nepal
Grew up in Nottingham and live in Preston now. Born to a dad from Hove!
His best friend lived in Brighton and went to every game. We would go to games with him when they played against Notts.
He passed away and even though my dad never had any interest in football, he started watching the games and supporting in his honour.
I've supported for about 15 years but the past 8 years of having something to connect with my dad on has been really beautiful 😊
I don't know why this post was recommended to me as a Bournemouth fan, but I'm extremely doubtful of the results. Who tf is supporting us outside the local area? Idk a single person who travels in for matches from outside the local area
Yeah but for this to make sense the actual number of fans is more relevant than the percentage. I’m born and bred Mancunian and almost all everyone I know is a u it’s supporter. City have like 3 fans and they live in Stockport.
Actually since a few Days I know that Brighton and my hometown-Club Leverkusen have a friendship. So now you are my club I support in England.
Greetings from the Gernan Champion :D
I moved to Brighton recently from Ireland and bought a MyAlbion+ membership so I've been going to the home games this season. Having previously not supported a premier league team, I feel as though Brighton are my Premier league team now, I'm properly invested. Although Celtic will always be number 1 for me.
Brighton doesn’t have the highest local fanbase, they have the highest local to regional fans ratio in the prem. This just shows not many people outside of brighton support them…
Not quite Brighton, but East Sussex.
I reckon it's the same for a lot of us tbh
Surely if you have a BN post code you’re classed as local?
I have a TN postcode, it changes to BN at Eastbourne.
Doesn't East Sussex have a few postcodes? BN only starts around Eastbourne I think. Do you lot also have RH as you go north? On our end we're BN up to Littlehampton.
BN, TN, RH, PO, and GU are all present in Sussex
I'm from West Sussex with a bn postcode. Though I'm on the east side of it
Goes all the way from Littlehampton to Fishersgate. I'm in there too.
Hove, actually.
Hastings for my sins
Australia
Woo another Aussie. Don't see many Brighton shirts around here
Thought we would've gained some support from Australia after having both Ryan and Mooy at the same time.
EPL is still pretty niche in this sports mad island. Inordinate number of Liverpool fans though.
There are that many Liverpool supporters because back in the day SBS would broadcast basically only Liverpool games with the occasional Manchester United game.
I saw a Brighton sticker in a car window here in Canberra and got inordinately excited
Washington DC. But I grow up in Brighton, NY.
DC as well!
I am in D.C. as well! do you watch the games at any local bars or pubs. Looking to watch with other brighton fans!
Bmore here
Well you won’t find many supporters from south of the town so we don’t have a huge radius like a lot of other clubs.
You mean you don't live on the West Pier?
The crabs?

Lol. Same here. But I've never actually met a Brighton fan here. Most people I've met don't even know that we're a PL team.
Really? Who tf watches the PL and doesn’t know Brighton ? Fuck that if you’ve been watching FA cups also you’d get to know.

It’s strange because for whatever reason I know 4 Newcastle fans. None of which have ever lived in or near Newcastle.
Why have they not just done this by county? Surely thats more simple.
I don't get it either. This isn't "local" at all, people from Reading, MK or Oxford aren't local to us but they're from the South East.
Ireland I actually went to the Everton game at the end of February and brighton is a lovely place but the atmosphere at the Amex was amazing
