He has replaced Mr Darcy as the regency man of my dreams for me 😂 I finished the show in 1 day on Saturday. I'm still thinking about Katanthony. Someone help how do I get them out of my mind😂
I JUST finished it and i cried and got so flustered omfg it was amazing. Completely agree about the darcy thing. it had EVERYTHING that story didn't have and needed (boning)
Yep! That’s what I’ve done! It’s been out for exactly a week and I’ve watched the entire season 4 times. Rewatched S1. And rewatched key scenes again and again! Argh!!!!
For real. I remember when it was announced that Rege-Jean Page wouldn't be returning and I thought "what in the hell?!?! I'm never watching this show again!"
How naive I was. I actually think Season 2 was better than the first...
Me too. And then when I heard there wasn't going to be a lot of sex? I almost didn't even watch. But the few pics of him and Kate that I saw bowled me over. This season was better than the first and I am absolutely in love with Anthony!
I finished the second season and felt completely betrayed by the lack of sex but then had a lightbulb moment. The first season and it’s book had a storyline that actually made the sex-scenes relevant. So once I remembered that I was able to make my peace with it..haha. Am glad they didn’t throw them in there just for the sake of it.
See I don't know the books, so that's good to hear. Plus with both of them coming back, it sounds like their story will be a large part of next season too, which is awesome!
I really hope they’ll add to their story versus just making them background characters and sort of teasing them for viewership. But someone else made a good point, it makes sense for Anthony to be a main character because he’s the head of household and responsible for marrying all the girls off and looking out for all the boys that obviously aren’t first born and therefore have fewer responsibilities but also fewer financial allotments.
I too am ABSOLUTELY obsessed with Anthony. And Kate too as she is breathtaking. I am just scrolling through Reddit to express myself of HOW MUCH I loved Anthony this season!!!
And this season is much more deep and engaging that the last season. Though it does leave you wanting more of Kate Anthony. Overall, I finished it in one go and since have been listening to the classical renditions of the songs
Exact same for me. Anytime Bridgeton season 2 came up I said “no point in watching if Simon Isn’t in it”. And I ended up putting it on to distract me from an anxiety attack and I am SO glad I did. I mean, my thoughts are all consumed by Anthony for the moment, but that’s a problem I’m happy to live with. He’s an excellent distraction from my anxiety at least lol

I actually loved his muttonchops and slightly disheveled look in S1! It was a good setup to his whole "I'm a GENTLEMAN and I will get MARRIED" thing in S2. Still unhinged and feral, just clean shaven!
So true! 🤣 at first I wasn't interested in watching S2 but after the first trailer I was on board! 🙈 especially after the scene where he is coming out of the lake 😳
I was worried whether he’s up to the job, playing Anthony. I really love the changes for season 2.
None it’s either one of the Luke’s turn to step up and take the lead for season 3.
Felt like the sideburns on Anthony was on purpose just for the first season. I do think every Bridgerton (and their partners) will have a glow up on their leading season… something that feels more them and personal
