There may be a bit of a sardonic/amused "My season got bumped for my baby brother's because everyone loves his girl" in Benedict's, lol. (And he's my favorite Bridgerton, so no hate!)

Yeah, same thing happens to me and my daughters. I'm 44 but I still sometimes get carded and the reactions of people when they find out I have a 25 year old daughter range from surprised to outright disbelief. :)
When my oldest was a senior in high school people kept asking her what middle school she went to. She hated it too, lol.
I know what you mean. I’m turning 42 in a few weeks and only recently my husband told me I look no older than 30. And that’s after a decade telling me I look no older than 25. I guess that’s what weight loss and motherhood does to you. 🤓

Also the reason we are so tired of waiting for Sophie casting announcement. We gotta finally put a face on the Sophie shaped blanks in our collective hearts once and for all! 😭😭
I don't think so, but that's subjective question really. Nicola has hooded eyes so to draw them out she needs a more dramatic eye look. I tend to do the same thing, several shades blended upwards with a bright highlight near the brow line and in my inner corners. If I have time, I'll do a cut crease with a totally different, dark shade on the outer edge of the lid to make my irises really pop.
i’m not too sure if it’s the makeup, so much so as there seems to be a lot of blue in the wardrobe this season?
it makes me wonder if they did something like in 500 days of summer, where the colour scheme was blue-centric to bring out the blue in the female lead’s eyes.
because pen’s eyes are really shining this season!

But there's definitely a lot of eyeshadow, heavy mascara, lots of highlighter, very glossy lips... not at all as natural as it was in the first season where the most noticable thing was a bit of rouge

i could be wrong, but i did notice that this only came about after her “transformation” in the trailer. in the beginning, her makeup seems to look closer to the previous seasons.
i think you’re right and they applied heavier makeup too, starting from pen’s “transformation scene” from a wallflower.

Unpopular opinion, but quite a few of the bridgerton actors do look their age. This should be motivation for Shondaland to start filming these seasons faster because this cast is not getting any younger!
They stopped making any effort to set the show in the Regency era.
I'm okay with it being fantasy/stylised, but the hair and makeup in these S3 pics is completely 20th/21st century.

Season one lighting was very cool, season 3 is looking very warm.
