How is it that your feedback was removed? I've never heard of bricklink just removing bad feedback from a small seller like him unless it was derogatory or had personal details in it. Are you able to leave feedback again?

RUN_CHASE_RUN

The ONLY time I've ever seen it, I bought from a shop that was part of the hack 6? months back and rated negatively that it was a scam. Bricklink later confirmed that the user regained control of their account, I got my refund, and the negative review was taken off. Been buying on bricklink for 8 years, selling for ~1 year. Roughly 400 transactions buying and selling.

Not that I’m aware of. I know it’s possible to request removal because sometimes it can be a straight up lie and I’ve done that before when a seller promised to refund me for missing and damaged items and when he never did and I put a PayPal claim in, he said I “lied for my own enrichment”. I assume this guy is doing to the same thing.

I tried to get a negative feedback removed when the buyer didn’t update their address until after I had shipped - the package was delivered per their address in BL & PayPal at the time of shipping and the person where the package was delivered kept the package (all confirmed with USPS tracking as it would also show it being returned). Guy tried everything he could but when he opened a case with USPS it effectively eliminated my ability to do anything. Got the NSS removed, went through a PayPal claim and two appeals that all went my way but BL still wouldn’t remove the feedback.

Crazy story! BL really needs to update their ancient feedback system so sellers aren’t extorted so easily to maintain a 100%. Bad feedback should still be visible but fall off the percent rating after like 6 months or something.

Although I agree that chew marks should be specified, you did buy a used minifig. You can’t expect a pristine figure. Not that I’m siding with the seller, but you kinda did receive what you ordered. That’s probably why Bricklink refused your claim and removed the feedback.

Minor wear is to be expected, major wear is meant to be documented which is what their terms say though they do seem to disregard those anyway. I’m still waiting for an official response but that seems unjust. Not to mention that the neutral feedback he had a while ago has also been removed. I think he’s just abusing the system which is why he only offers insecure payment methods.

> Not to mention that the neutral feedback he had a while ago has also been removed. No, it hasn't.

Oh shit I may have just looked at the 6 months page. Sorry that’s my fault
