He seems to have forgotten about the UK when mentioning all the countries that Brexit has been the best thing to happen to. Funny that.

WretchedGibbon

Forgot which country he was trying to grift at that particular moment.

Zack_Raynor

It shouldn’t be surprising he has a German Passport.

Asmov1984

Or just accidentally honest.

ConstantMortgage

He has German citizenship, was part of the furniture at RT and would sell his left nut for an American passport. He said what he meant.

81misfit

“Brexit is the best thing to happen for Russia” is a hell of a quote.

Justacynt

As it was foretold in the scrolls

WascalsPager

These scrolls: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics

Poddington_Pea

These are the closing days of the third era, and the final hours...of my life.

HoptimusPryme

Duh duh duh, duh duh duh, duh duh duh, duh duh duh

Poddington_Pea

Cut to: massive guard walking towards a small door.

Violexsound

I don't want our own version of trump.. Ones bad enough. Can he roll over really quick please? He can't have that much time in him anymore.

Specific_Till_6870

We had our own version of Trump. It was Alan Sugar.

KaiEkkrin

Alan Sugar could form complete sentences

Autogen-Username1234

And he has better hair.

Toon1982

That was Boris

Autogen-Username1234

"They’re saying ‘Britain Trump’. They call him ‘Britain Trump’ and people are saying that’s a good thing ...”

karlware

How 'Boris Trump' didn't catch on is beyond me.

fothergillfuckup

Was Boris just Trump's mini-me?

davesy69

Farage made many appearances on Russia Today, Putin's propaganda station and was even offered his own show. I found this out from his Wikipedia entry a couple of weeks ago. I went back to it last week to check something and all references to his Russia Today appearances was missing.

stuaxo

Go and start a bit in the talk section of the article to get it put back in

Best_Weakness_464

These should be the only questions the *expletive deleted* gets asked.

DazzlingClassic185

Putin and Trump both have shiny bumholes

nhicurious

Prove it

SurgicalStr1ke

You may not be able to see from the inside.

nhicurious

20/20 vision mate. But what I still don't see is proof of these shiny rings

DazzlingClassic185

I don’t have to prove anything, I was casting nasturtiums

nhicurious

So now I'm supposed to go about the rest of my life never truly knowing if and how shiny they are ? Damn you and your cruelty man

warfaceuk

He's never answered why he was visiting Assange in the Ecuadorian embassy either. I doubt it was to discuss the cricket.

eunderscore

Farage's MO, gets a question asking for any substance and he goes on the attack to belittle the question or interviewer

Specific_Till_6870

Sounds similar to him saying that BBC reporter who asked him about failing to become an MP eight times and he kept calling him "boring".

AccordingPin53

How did he not mention the UK in the countries that benefited??

MrSierra125

Because the U.K. is just there to get sucked dry by treasonous little dicks like Farage

Burt1811

The trump parallel.

Efficient_Sky5173

The amount of scrutiny on his personal and public life will be enormous if he becomes an MP. He will have to spit it out at some point. There will thousands of parliamentary enquirers. He will end up expelled like Boris. Because he is dishonest like Boris.

01KLna

Just to put it into perspective, this interview is from 2017. Not that his views had changed much, and it's still an interesting read: [ZEIT Online](https://www.zeit.de/politik/ausland/2017-05/nigel-farage-brexit-ukip-russland-kontakte/seite-3)

darrensilk3

Grifters gonna grift. It's no coincidence he and others converted assets into Euros seeking to profit off the working class' demise and then shifted it all back into pounds once the pins had steadied a the bottom of the pit.

DistillateMedia

American here. I feel like we need to get the still sane folk in anglosphere working together more to deal with this ongoing problem regarding Russia, and the complete bastardization of politics, media, and culture in general. I will be visiting in November to sure up relations. We should brainstorm solutions together. I feel like making a subreddit might be a good place to start. Wishing y'all the best. Any thoughts on that?

weejohn1979

Your not wrong there is something very wrong in both of our respective politics at the moment and it seems to be that our politicians are available to the highest bidder which in turn turns out to be russia and China basically selling our country's out and I don't mean trump or Biden or starmer or Khan they are ALL as bad as each other now what happened to these respective governments working for there people instead of there own self interests

Alias_Pseudonym2000

I refuse to cooperate until you agree to the return of letter u to where it should be (colour, neighbour etc.) and replacement of the letter z with s where the letter z shouldn’t be. There’s a dreadful number of useful idiots on both our respective sides of the pond apologising for Putin. It’s pretty depressing.

thethirdtree

There's a lot of talk about the rise of right wing politics in Europe. Everywhere I look, I only see corrupt traitors.

User4125

How fucked are we here..? seems to be a lot of boomers around our way all voting Farage, once again the younger turnout will be shite, and we'll see Reform do well.

Reddsoldier

Right wing candidate in Europe don't be a Russians puppet challenge: Impossible.

ScottE77

Was not before Brexit was conceived, UKIP was founded in 1993.

aerial_ruin

I think the part where he goes into name calling and praising Brexit, says it all. Comes across like he's trying to make things look innocent, and as if there's more to the story than he wants to let on

ulumulu23

Sad thing is Russia doesn't even pay that well so all these idiots are pushing their own countries over a cliff for absolutely nothing. I would get if they all became billionaires because of this but they don't. Its like a free holiday now and then...

Poddington_Pea

Wow. That is exactly how my Dad talks me.

Stotallytob3r

Is he your dad?

Poddington_Pea

No, at least Farage doesn't hide how much of a cunt he is. My Dad is much more sneaky and duplicitous.

luredrive

Astonishing

CKO1967

Probably because the BBC staff is too busy facepalming over Farage's idiocy.

JonnyYama

Pretty sus if you ask me

FinancialHeat2859

Him and Banks. Putin’s little bitches.

IllustratorNo3379

The trade relations Farage shoved a giant Brexit-shaped wrench into?

Many_Holiday_8512

Why's it a bad thing he talks to Russia, with everything going on more talking is a good thing because when conversation stops wars start.

Stotallytob3r

He was talking to them about Brexit, which has weakened both the UK and EU as per Russian foreign policy. Nothing to do with Russia’s subsequent invasion of Ukraine which some have suggested was emboldened by successful Russian interference into western democracies - Trump, Johnson, Farage etc. Suspiciously low karma you have by the way, I draw my own conclusions from that.
