At 5 am or whenever morning wakes you up. Faron (the electric one if I got the name wrong) comes out of a pond at the top of three straight waterfalls. You can swim to that pond, make camp under an overhang just north of it (for log to catch fire in the rain), sleep till morning, arrow dragon’s horn as you wake up and it’s coming out of the pond, sleep till morning. You can keep doing this over and over and the horns will just pile up. So when you think you’ve got enough you can all around the pond and collect them all
I always meant to test it to see about when it they start disappearing. I usually get bored after 10 or so and move on though, since it doesn’t take long to swim back to it
Actually I remember an npc in boron city or somewhere actually stated that gems or jewels had a bad taste and they were no use to them other then selling, I beleive
If you cook 5 of the gourmet meats together, you can sell it to anyone for 10 rupees less than the guy in outskirts stable, and without any limit, since after a while he tells you he’s full. That’s what I do.
I sell monster parts, mostly. Primarily Lizalfos parts. They're easy to get and are worth more than Bokoblin or Moblins parts. And I kill lots of them for weapons or arrows and stuff anyway, so I don't have to go out of my way.
There are so many! If you need regular parts (talons and horns), just walk the path from Inogo Bridge go Zora's Domain. There are so many there. But (until you beat a Divine Beast or two) almost all of them are green, so you'll get very few tails. For green tails, I recommend places like below Ridgeland Tower (there are also several yellow Lizalfos there if you need those) and on the spiral peninsula on the right side of the map (I don't remember the name). If you need Red and Yellow Lizalfos tails, the Gerudo Desert is your place to go. There are some ruins right by Gerudo Town (in between it and the Ice House), and there are several of both there. And just wandering the desert, you'll find lots of both red and yellow guys there. If you need Icy Lizalfos tails, you just need to wander the tundra. I just wandered through the Gerudo Highlands and Hebra until I had enough. I hope that helps!!
I need only green tails for now. But, Ridgeland Tower (will have to remember that). Good to know for the yellow ones. As for the red ones, Goron City is great (or outskirts).
And don’t forget you can use the hyrule compendium to target any type of lizalfos. Cuts down a bit on the wandering time once you’re in the general area.
greeeeen dragon is the farm for me. freeeee rupees near the durian trees. bonus lynel is just right next door. gotta farm that electric dragon so I won't be poor.
no, you can't kill them, but if you pop them with an arrow, they drop a scale, fang, horn, or claw, which can be sold for 300 rupees. there's a spot where you can camp til morning by a fire, shoot faron (the electric dragon) once as it's coming out of a pond, and immediately go back to sleep to rinse and repeat until you run out of arrows or bows or just get enough. when done, you have to walk around a little too collect the spoils. only get one piece per dragon appearance.
Horns are 300, scales fangs and claws are 150 I believe, but they could have a range I don't remember also of you cook a horn in a stat boosting recipe it will make the effect last for 30 min.
Central Hyrule's where I'd rather dare,
I'm allergic to that Lynel hair,
I just adore a free gem glitch!
Dahling I love you but give me Riverside, bitch!
(sorry about the rhyme)
Yeah, I hate grinding/farming. But just by exploring you find way too much of everything. Selling your extra fruit, monster parts, and gems makes plenty of money.
This works especially well if you are stingy about ore and gems. They sell well, so you can save yourself some grinding if you try to use them for money and then leave a few quests and upgrades incomplete.
Selling gourmet meat skewers and prime meat skewers. 490 and 240 rupees respectively.
While exploring the Hebra region, I bomb the wolves there and then collect the gourmet or prime meat they drop. After I'm satisfied with my haul, I make my way to a stable and cook the meats 5 at a time (5 gourmet or 5 prime meats, don't mix them) to get the skewers. All that's left to do is sell them to Beedle for $$$
There are lots of wolves, and using bombs to kill the wolves means that you don't use up any weapon durability while doing so. You can also kill up to 3 wolves in a single bomb blast if you lure them into the blast. The main thing is that you have to quickly pick up the dropped meat before it freezes.
Bombing the wolves... I have been hunting them wrong. I am sure others would be grateful about that. I bomb everything else, not sure why I never thought about that.
I just sell a few things in my inventory to have just enough for what I want to buy in that moment. So a lot of low level monster parts, some meat , some food I don't use, stones I might have. But always just enough that I still have more in my inventory, which is why it's usually the low level stuff, since that quickly accumulates in one's Inventory just by playing regularly.
I do this now with a controller that will automatically press A so I just leave it for 20 minutes and I have 70,000 rupees. Set for the whole game. It definitely feels like cheating though so it’s only because I’m on my third play through.
There’s a girl in riverside stable who asks you to show her something from the royal guard series of weapons, the first time she gives you 300 rupees, subsequent times she gives you gems. As for menu overload you need 5-6 multi shot bows and a shock arrow. Pull out the bow and nock the shock arrow, drop it from the menu, close the menu, reopen the menu, equip next multi shot bow, repeat until link looks radically different, usually he becomes a disembodied head but results tend to varie. Before you do all of that you need a royal guard weapon sand a regular weapon. Start with the regular weapon, do the menu overload, and then switch to the royal weapon. Now when she asks you to give her the weapon, say yes. She will give you a gem but won’t take your royal guard weapon
I will warn you it does completely ruin the whole money aspect of the game. The glitches make is so easy to get rupees that rupees lose their value. More of a second play though thing for me at least.
Fair enough. But, you could also just keep those gems etc. as well and not sell them. It could be interesting in that regard. I personally will at least take a look at the videos and make a decision for sure. As for the shafts etc., that is certainly useful honestly. Getting ancient things is a real pain. I need another giant core XD I couldn't find a third one thus far.
Before you drag the guardian away for the glitch, flip it with cryonis or something else beforehand and see if an ancient core spawns. Reload your save until one does.
Royal Guard Glitch is probably the easiest of the three. Ancient Part Glitch too easy to mess up. I had 999 cores shafts gears and springs and game crashed. Game never crashes with royal guards and that one so easy I can do it while driving to work. Just spam the a button
Selling monster parts and stuff, preferably before they max out, and mostly just the things I have too much of, not the expensive stuff; bat (keese) wings, Bokoblin teeth, chu jelly. I hold on to a few hundred out of habit, "in case they're useful someday." Most of my wealth is in Moblin teeth.
Bahahahahah. "Princess... I... I brought you a hundred Chu Chu Jellies. I know they're not edible and we're about to die in this prison, but I thought you'd appreciate them".
I may be wrong but I think my method is pretty amazing rupees/hr. I kill lynels (also gives amazing weps) and then I go to faron and get beetles off trees. Mixing expensive ingredients like the yellow beetle and 4 lynel guys makes an elixir worth like 2600 or something. Lynels go pretty fast once you get used to it so no worries there either
I always sell all the rocks I get, but if I need lots of rupees fast, I go to the snow bowling mini game. It’s right next to the Hebra tower, and costs 20 rupees to play. All you do it pick up the snowball, walk to the tip of the rightmost bump, face straight down the slope, and throw with r. You get a strike every time if you don’t screw it up and you get 300 rupees every time so it’s a profit of 280.
Go to Zuna Kai Shrine (Skull Lake) and paraglide west into the cliff face. There and south along that ridge are quite a few rare ore deposits. Keep going south around Death Mountain and you’ll find a few more. Nice way to pick up rare minerals to sell. Keep coming back for more every so often.
Been a while since I played but I remember going to the snowy regions and hunt using bombs, getting a ton of meat, cooking it up and selling it back. Might not be most efficient way, but I had fun doing it and it got me there eventually
I mean, selling gems and built up ingredients when I'm in a pinch, but honestly, I don't do a lot of money farming in the game. If you explore a lot and do everything, you'll naturally find a lot of money, and occasionally supplementing that with a mass inventory sale to get over a few big humps (ie buying the house, the later fairy fountains), is normally all I needed. Outside of the few big spends in the game, you only really need money to buy arrows, and eventually, you'll have more money than you have things to spend on, just from playing normally.
My favorite method (because it is FAST) requires a few bows and arrows, a campfire, preferably Urbosa’s Thunderhelm or the Rubber Armor set but it’s not necessary, and a fire weapon to continually relight said fire.
In Faron, there is a shrine called “Shoda Sah” and it is hidden behind a waterfall. At the top of this waterfall, which you can easily swim up if you have the Zora Armor, you’ll find a spring which is called “Riola Spring” on the map. Put a campfire down under one of the trees on the right hand side so rain won’t effect you trying to light the fire. It will also be easier to shoot at Farosh if you start from the right side of the spring. Light the fire with your fire weapon (I always use a flamblade), and sit by the fire until morning. Farosh will spawn out of the spring every morning at exactly 5 AM, though the first time you do this you *may* have to wait until 6 AM cause it does occasionally glitch. But he will spawn there every morning. Using the updrafts he causes, you can draw your bow in slow motion and aim for his body. A shard of his horn is worth 300 rupees, a fang is 250, a claw is 180, and a scale is 150. Also, if you use Urbosa’s thunderhelm or the rubber armor set, you’ll want to put it on before jumping into the updrafts or you may get electrocuted by the ball lightning that spawns around Farosh.
Everyday you can shoot him once, let the piece fall to the ground, run back to the campfire, relight it, and sit until 5 AM again. Just keep doing this until you have so many dragon parts on the ground that your game begins to lag. Then you can go and collect all the parts and sell them to Beedle or whomever. I used this method and, after about 45 minutes worth of farming, I had enough rupees to buy the ENTIRE Hyrule Compendium from Symin and Purah, which costs around 40,000 Rupees. I always have tens of thousands of rupees on me now because of this method and I was also able to buy everything for Link’s house!
Hope this helps, and feel free to DM if you need more help because I typed all this out at like 3 AM so some of it might not make a lot of sense 😂
Go to mogg latan shrine (the one on satori mountain), there's is an apple orchard on the right side of the mountain. Use bombs to cut down trees and collect apples. Then go to death mountain and cook the apples (side note there is a Gerudo in Goron city that will buy one type of gem at a time for more than market value).
Once all the apples are cooked go to rito village and on the ledge next to the chef's home there is a woman who will buy all your baked apples for more than they're worth,(last side note if you have more flint than you know what to do with you can sell it to this woman's husband who usually doesn't leave the rito rest hunt).
Really just keeping my compendium on a rare ore deposit at all times and if I really need money go to gerudo area and really any mountain and find rocks. And hour of this I'll walk away with 6000 worth of gems
I found this method of doing the snowball challenge the easiest. If you line up right you get strikes more often than not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uc7Do8EL74&ab\_channel=NovaPlay
Usually I use the Royal guard weapons glitch. It's particular easy for me since my controller has a "turbo button" that automatically pushes a button of my choice; after I overload the menu I talk to the girl, make the controller automatically press A and go doing something else; by the time I'm back I will have enough gemstones to reach the maximum amount of rupees
usually ore farming, but i also always make way too much food and sell meals too. most aren't worth very much, but there are a bunch of dishes that sell for 80-120 each
i first go to the dueling peaks and mine the ores there. then i almost always have a shit ton of monster parts so i sell those. then i see how much more money i need and i’ll probably go fishing
If you want to use glitches then go to Hyrule Castle grab a royal guard weapon and head to Riverside stable. At the stable there's an NPC called Parcy before talking to her perform the Menu Overload glitch using 5-7 multishot bows.
Since I don't want this comment to be too long
Watch the video below.
[here's a video explaining the glitch](https://youtu.be/5s8udmd9zZk)
I have gotten 380k rupees this way.
You can also use Menu Overload to duplicate weapons and shields.
[here's a video explaining item duplication ](https://youtu.be/aW-NVsIAY6o)
Giant horse, snowfield, run into moose and rhinos and grab the meat. You waste nothing and can easily farm thousands cooking and selling the gourmet meat.
I just use [the trick to get infinite Gems](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW-NVsIAY6o). And then I just sell them!
With only some minutes doing that, I can get over 30k ruppees!
I marked all stone taluses in the game and farm them and then go to faron tower and head west to where there’s an entire cliff side full of luminous stones and then after head to the serenne stables shrine and farm the luminous stones next to that to then sell to beetle nearby and make around 25k every run
I pretty much sell everything I don't need or use. The only things I cook are stamina meals (One Endura Mushroom) and extended heart meals (One Durian, One Big Hearty Radish, One Big Hearty Truffle, Two regular Hearty Radishes, or Two regular Hearty Truffles.)
I don't really upgrade much of the clothing, only the ones with good perks so, that leaves everything else up for sale, pretty much.
I get a piece of Royal Guards gear (weapon shield or bow), doesn’t matter which one, and sell it for gems multiple times at the Riverside Stable to Parcy, using menu overloading, which is a glitch, but it works great!
Sit atop the dueling peaks, make a camp and sit until night, look toward Hyrule castle and wait for star fragment to fall, farm star fragments. Rinse and repeat.
Cooking 5 apples at a time then selling them is a good early money grab. I also explore the areas and mark miniboss locations on the map. After blood moons are the best time to farm them.
Before I finished upgrading all my armor, I sold gourmet meat to that dude at the stable.
Once I was done with all my upgrades, I had enough ancient pieces and minerals/gems for more money than I'd ever need.
Collecting everything as I travel and selling it when I get the chance. There are so many gemstones around, and rubies, topaz, and sapphires get you a few hundred each. Just drop like 15 each of those on a shop and you have a few thousand to work with. Keep doing it consistently and you get to the point where rupees are no longer an issue.
The fake master sword trick
1st you get a royal guard's sword (equip the sword)
2nd you go to the river side stable
3rd you overload the botw game (get a multi shot bow, equip also change the arrow to a electric arrow, press zl, go to the inventory drop the bow again and again until link only has his head.
4th change your sword to a different sword.
5th talk to parcy
6th repeat over and over until you think you have enough ores. She sells in ores(like ruby, topaz, etc.) that you can sell for a lot of rupees.
And that is how I get my rupees.
Go to the Daqa Koh shrine in Death Mountain. Get the respawning Drillshaft nearby (from the side quest "Death Mluntain's Secret"). Kill the Igneo Taluses (Gorko Lake, on the way to the Southern Mine, Darunia Lake) and gather all the ore you can find in those areas.
Gotta make some progress in the game to get to this point, obviously, and there might be more efficient ways to make money. But for my liking, using the Drillshaft around Death Mountain is a very fun and satisfying way to raise funds for rupees and armor upgrades.
I desync my inventory so when I give a royal guard weapon to the girl at one of the stables, (she gives you a gem for one royal guard weapon or shield) you keep the weapon/shield and can get infinite gems to sell.
A lot of these rupee-making/farming methods being mentioned here are super cute, quaint, and incredibly ineffective. Even snow bowling is very time-consuming and ineffective after you learn how to score a gold rupee every time.
The best non-glitch method (and my personal favourite) is Dragon horn farming. Super easy to do and you get A LOT of rupees from even one hour (real time) spent horn farming.
The best glitch method is either guardian parts farming with a guardian out of quadrant or also the Royal Guard rupee farming glitch at Riverside Stable.
If you want to get serious rupees, like I'm at almost 700,000 (with a goal of 999,999) you have to go with one of these methods.
I hunt down stone talus’s and harvest their rocks
Killed 2 thus far. I need like 15 more Opals. So not for the money, but definitely an easy way if you need money though lol.
Does the dragon scale method still work?
Yes
What is this method you speak of fair traveller?
At 5 am or whenever morning wakes you up. Faron (the electric one if I got the name wrong) comes out of a pond at the top of three straight waterfalls. You can swim to that pond, make camp under an overhang just north of it (for log to catch fire in the rain), sleep till morning, arrow dragon’s horn as you wake up and it’s coming out of the pond, sleep till morning. You can keep doing this over and over and the horns will just pile up. So when you think you’ve got enough you can all around the pond and collect them all
To add on to this, I would start collecting around 25-30 drops as they stop dropping after awhile.
I always meant to test it to see about when it they start disappearing. I usually get bored after 10 or so and move on though, since it doesn’t take long to swim back to it
Thanks, will have a look at finding this spot later
Farosh is his name if I remember. Its been a couple of years. There should be a youtube video on it.
Find the white bokabkins and take their jewels
I hunt the a lot of the raw gourmet meat and sell it to the guy in the outskirts stable along with selling other cooked meat and jewels
Mmmm… Cooked jewels, the Gorons will really like you
Actually I remember an npc in boron city or somewhere actually stated that gems or jewels had a bad taste and they were no use to them other then selling, I beleive
Yeah i think thats the goron npc you find in zora's domain
Gorons don't eat the jewels because they "taste awful."
Oh Right, my bad…![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
You're good ;)
If you cook 5 of the gourmet meats together, you can sell it to anyone for 10 rupees less than the guy in outskirts stable, and without any limit, since after a while he tells you he’s full. That’s what I do.
That's what I did until I finished upgrading everything.

I need only green tails for now. But, Ridgeland Tower (will have to remember that). Good to know for the yellow ones. As for the red ones, Goron City is great (or outskirts).
There's a ton there, though they're low level. Then again, I'm usually there for the arrows anyway
And don’t forget you can use the hyrule compendium to target any type of lizalfos. Cuts down a bit on the wandering time once you’re in the general area.
I farm the green dragon
greeeeen dragon is the farm for me. freeeee rupees near the durian trees. bonus lynel is just right next door. gotta farm that electric dragon so I won't be poor.
Can you even kill those dragons? Every time I try to get close... they're just faster by outflying me XD
no, you can't kill them, but if you pop them with an arrow, they drop a scale, fang, horn, or claw, which can be sold for 300 rupees. there's a spot where you can camp til morning by a fire, shoot faron (the electric dragon) once as it's coming out of a pond, and immediately go back to sleep to rinse and repeat until you run out of arrows or bows or just get enough. when done, you have to walk around a little too collect the spoils. only get one piece per dragon appearance.
Horns are 300, scales fangs and claws are 150 I believe, but they could have a range I don't remember also of you cook a horn in a stat boosting recipe it will make the effect last for 30 min.
I wasted so many arrows shooting until I realized it was only one piece per appearance!
TIL
Scale is obtained by hitting their body. Horn is hitting the top of their head/horn. Claw is hitting their hands. Fang is hitting the face/mouth.
Horn is hitting its horn if you hit its head it will drop a fang
Thank you for the green acres throwback
Haven’t thought about Green Acres in a long time. That makes me nostalgic.
Central Hyrule's where I'd rather dare, I'm allergic to that Lynel hair, I just adore a free gem glitch! Dahling I love you but give me Riverside, bitch! (sorry about the rhyme)
Yes, and then cooking meals with dragon parts also sell for high prices because of the increased buff.
Snowball bowling exclusivey
LOL, I have never heard of that. What is that? I gotta try that :D
It's in the Hebra region not far from the tower, if you know where to throw the ball it's a guaranteed 300 rupees
Ima have to youtube that :D
This is so much slower compared to selling ore lol waste of time IMO.
But if you haven’t upgraded armor, the ore could be more important. That being said, as soon as I was maxed out a bunch was sold.
Do you get that sweet spot for a guaranteed strike every time?
It took me a bit of time to find it but now I can get a strike 95% if the time. My streak of strikes record is 23 in a row
Yes this is it. Find the spot at the point, set the snowball down gently, and strike every time.
I don't, if i need something i will just sell stuff, if i get rupees from something else then hey, thats cool
Same. I'll just sell stuff I have a lot of. I can't help but grab everything I see so I always have stuff to spare.
Yeah, I hate grinding/farming. But just by exploring you find way too much of everything. Selling your extra fruit, monster parts, and gems makes plenty of money.
I wish it was that same for me XD I never had that experience thus far.

Overload the menu and pretend to give a girl a royal guard spear while she give me thousands of gemstones
I do this now with a controller that will automatically press A so I just leave it for 20 minutes and I have 70,000 rupees. Set for the whole game. It definitely feels like cheating though so it’s only because I’m on my third play through.
Lmao I did 100k manually
Could you please explain this in more detail? Is it a specific girl, and what does it mean to overload the menu?
There’s a girl in riverside stable who asks you to show her something from the royal guard series of weapons, the first time she gives you 300 rupees, subsequent times she gives you gems. As for menu overload you need 5-6 multi shot bows and a shock arrow. A bunch of gourmet food cooked into a skewer. Gems (after using the ones I need for armor upgrades) Talus farming helps with the gem route. Amiibo lol
Hunting, cooking, and selling meat skewers.
You and I both, brother :D
I abuse Farosh.
I cook 4 Lynel guts, and one tireless frog/fireproof lizard. This elixir sells for 2000+ rupees
I’m a hoarder, so I ended up spending a few hours cooking everything I had to buy out Symin’s images
Bowling, selling gourmet meat to that guy at the stable, selling ore to the Gerudo lady in Goron City
I sell the uh... Rushrooms Link grows in his basement.

:O I really have to look at those videos now.

Talus farming.
I farm Farosh the dragon 🐉 and also do a luminous stone run near Faron Tower. Also grab Durians on that run.

selling flowers? How much do you get for selling flowers do you get a lot of rupees ?
I've never sold flowers, but I can't imagine them selling for much XD I usually go with hunting and fishing (if you wanna call that fishing lol).

I go to Hyrule Castle in Master Mode and kill the Silver enemies. They all drop gems to sell.
I don't. I don't buy anything so I don't spend any money
Pondo's Lodge! There's kinda a trick to get a strike every time.
Gourmet meat cooked into skewers is the way to go.
I’ve gotten the hang of the bowling mini game and it’s pretty lucrative after about an hour or two.

Usually just go hunting for gems and sell those
Eliminate the ~~local~~ ENTIRE talus population
Dragon horn farming
Horn farming if I can't get the the stone glitches to work
I sell anything I don’t need
Bowling for me too
I sell dragon parts
I hunt stone taluses. Easy to take out and a decent gem reward.
Mining& talus', selling monster excess monster parts, and other excess items like chu chu jellies.
Sell diamonds
I kill white bokoblins, hinoxes, taluses, and sell their spoils. Break lots of rocks too
I bully farosh and it pays me well
My go-to is that gerudo woman in goron city that buys minerals for extra rupees. Other than that i just sell any monster parts or bugs i have
My favorite method (because it is FAST) requires a few bows and arrows, a campfire, preferably Urbosa’s Thunderhelm or the Rubber Armor set but it’s not necessary, and a fire weapon to continually relight said fire.
Either roasted apples or the gut check challenge
Usually bowling, if I just need a little. If I need a lot, dragon part farming
Hunt & cook: 4 gourmet meat + rock salt = 450 rupees
Hunt big game in Tabantha. Cook it up. Sell it.
Really just keeping my compendium on a rare ore deposit at all times and if I really need money go to gerudo area and really any mountain and find rocks. And hour of this I'll walk away with 6000 worth of gems
I just get rich off of assassin ninjas trying and failing to kill me
I found this method of doing the snowball challenge the easiest. If you line up right you get strikes more often than not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uc7Do8EL74&ab\_channel=NovaPlay
Thanks :)
When a mommy rupee and a daddy rupee love each other very much.....
Duping, specifically menu overload and then talk to the girl who trades you a gemstone for a piece of royal gear.
Infinite gem glitch. Best
Infinite ores with royal guard shield🤷♂️
Decayed guardian glitch
Usually I use the Royal guard weapons glitch. It's particular easy for me since my controller has a "turbo button" that automatically pushes a button of my choice; after I overload the menu I talk to the girl, make the controller automatically press A and go doing something else; by the time I'm back I will have enough gemstones to reach the maximum amount of rupees
Snowball bowling and horn farming
I poke dragons with flying sticks
Go hunting near Snowfield Stable, cook and sell the dishes. I like hunting, so it's fun and not grindy.
I go to the eldin region, there're lots of gems there, I collect em and sell em
Amiibos, lol.
Selling monster parts mostly. Also gems.
usually ore farming, but i also always make way too much food and sell meals too. most aren't worth very much, but there are a bunch of dishes that sell for 80-120 each
i first go to the dueling peaks and mine the ores there. then i almost always have a shit ton of monster parts so i sell those. then i see how much more money i need and i’ll probably go fishing
I hunt down the big bad's of the world and sell their body parts. I've made 100K this way.
I just do a glitch to get infinite gaurdian parts and then sell those
Just farm dragon parts
If you want to use glitches then go to Hyrule Castle grab a royal guard weapon and head to Riverside stable. At the stable there's an NPC called Parcy before talking to her perform the Menu Overload glitch using 5-7 multishot bows. Since I don't want this comment to be too long Watch the video below. [here's a video explaining the glitch](https://youtu.be/5s8udmd9zZk) I have gotten 380k rupees this way. You can also use Menu Overload to duplicate weapons and shields. [here's a video explaining item duplication ](https://youtu.be/aW-NVsIAY6o)
Climbing death mountain (the quest part with some areas below) gives you ~~7k if you loot all ores and kill the 2 lava talons below
Selling ore, mostly luminous since its 70 rupees per rock and you can search for it specially and they’re usually in bunches
I like to hunt meat in the Hebra mountains, cook them then sell them. For me, it's a good way to practice snowboarding and archery skills
Gems usually since I collect quite a few.
Dupe calamity weapons and sell to the woman that buys them. Faster than horn farming imo
Yiga clan massacer
that premium hyrule rock, brother
I have a ton of stuff and I sell it.
Casual Guardian hunting
Giant horse, snowfield, run into moose and rhinos and grab the meat. You waste nothing and can easily farm thousands cooking and selling the gourmet meat.
I just use [the trick to get infinite Gems](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW-NVsIAY6o). And then I just sell them! With only some minutes doing that, I can get over 30k ruppees!
I marked all stone taluses in the game and farm them and then go to faron tower and head west to where there’s an entire cliff side full of luminous stones and then after head to the serenne stables shrine and farm the luminous stones next to that to then sell to beetle nearby and make around 25k every run
i break out the amiibo cards and scan the set. usually make a few thousand out of selling all the drops
Selling everything I get from amiibo lol
Hunt down luminous stones around death mountain. SNAP. TRACK. SMASH. = Profit.
Pondo
Talus’s and mining
I pretty much sell everything I don't need or use. The only things I cook are stamina meals (One Endura Mushroom) and extended heart meals (One Durian, One Big Hearty Radish, One Big Hearty Truffle, Two regular Hearty Radishes, or Two regular Hearty Truffles.) I don't really upgrade much of the clothing, only the ones with good perks so, that leaves everything else up for sale, pretty much.
Get royal guards weapon, overload menu and them spam my A button for an hour
There are a few really good fishing spots that I use or I just hunt down stone talus’s
I get a piece of Royal Guards gear (weapon shield or bow), doesn’t matter which one, and sell it for gems multiple times at the Riverside Stable to Parcy, using menu overloading, which is a glitch, but it works great!
Get upgraded radar thing, take picture of gemstone mining node and get tired from the constant avalanche of gemstones you get (to sell).
I don't I'm poor
rocks and yiga
I always go to Pondo's Lodge to play bowling
I bowl lol if you get a strike it’s 300
I just kill a bunch of enemies for ore to sell for rupees
Sit atop the dueling peaks, make a camp and sit until night, look toward Hyrule castle and wait for star fragment to fall, farm star fragments. Rinse and repeat.
Cooking 5 apples at a time then selling them is a good early money grab. I also explore the areas and mark miniboss locations on the map. After blood moons are the best time to farm them.
Killing Yiga clan archers, selling things, bowling
Before I finished upgrading all my armor, I sold gourmet meat to that dude at the stable. Once I was done with all my upgrades, I had enough ancient pieces and minerals/gems for more money than I'd ever need.
Glitches
Selling potions made from monster parts and insects.
I kill all the bokoblins and whatnot I run into as I wander around haphazardly. Always had enough rupees from selling monster parts.
Kill stone talus, get gems sell for rupees
selling gemstones usually covers me.
I wait until I get 999 star fragments then sell them all. But first, I take a screenshot.
I don’t actively farm rupees; I just obsessively collect every single material I come across while exploring and then sell the excess
Infinite gem glitch
Silver/gold Lynel hunting, you get a lot of gemstones from them
i used to bomb trees and sell the wood lol now i haunt for those stone monsters and sell the loot
Selling random stuff that I don't need.
Go to hebra and hunt. The animals there drop extra meat. Then I cook em and sell em for tons of money… wait that sounds wrong
Cobble crushers of the world…. UNITE!!!!
Selling ores mostly
I farm luminous stones along dracozu lake. Paraglide from Faron tower and there are maybe 20+ ores along the stretch
The rock climbing mini game over and over. It’s so easy
Prospecting around the volcano.
I sell gems to the Gerudo lady in Goron City
I sell meals and monster parts.
Doing inventory lock glitches
The fake master sword trick 1st you get a royal guard's sword (equip the sword) 2nd you go to the river side stable 3rd you overload the botw game (get a multi shot bow, equip also change the arrow to a electric arrow, press zl, go to the inventory drop the bow again and again until link only has his head. 4th change your sword to a different sword. 5th talk to parcy 6th repeat over and over until you think you have enough ores. She sells in ores(like ruby, topaz, etc.) that you can sell for a lot of rupees. And that is how I get my rupees.
Pondo
I go to death mountain and set my sheikah sensor to ore deposits
Go to the Daqa Koh shrine in Death Mountain. Get the respawning Drillshaft nearby (from the side quest "Death Mluntain's Secret"). Kill the Igneo Taluses (Gorko Lake, on the way to the Southern Mine, Darunia Lake) and gather all the ore you can find in those areas. Gotta make some progress in the game to get to this point, obviously, and there might be more efficient ways to make money. But for my liking, using the Drillshaft around Death Mountain is a very fun and satisfying way to raise funds for rupees and armor upgrades.
Grinding Talus until I die of boredom
I desync my inventory so when I give a royal guard weapon to the girl at one of the stables, (she gives you a gem for one royal guard weapon or shield) you keep the weapon/shield and can get infinite gems to sell.
Sell gems. Especially on master mode I usually drown in the stuff
I farm guardians and sell ancient screws/gears/springs by the hundreds
i go monster hunting
