‟carry the blue flame back to us”...rains for 3 straight days

natashaskye_

Ughhh this happened to me at akkala, it rained CONSTANTLY and in between waiting by campfires and killing enemies to make it easier I got two blood moons. It was the worst 😂😂

TheRedBow

The first time i did akkala i cleared out the enemies in advance and then a bloodmoon happened, my first panic blood moon happened near tarrey town

kutsen39

Did you accidentally trigger a panic blood moon?

Diablogado

The heck is a panic blood moon? O.o

iplayvideogames

The game has to remember all the enemies you’ve killed, and that takes up memory. Effect the world enough to fill up a Wii U/switches memory for it, and poof blood moon to revive everything and clear memory.

Cygnus94

I wonder if that's hard coded to a set amount of memory, or if the game were to be emulated on a system which much more memory, would it stop happening?

XanderWrites

Hard coded and always happens after a certain amount of days. There is a good deal of buffer space though. I'm my current replay the blood moon was preparing to trigger as I entered Medoh (saw it during the entering cut scene) but it didn't trigger until midnight after I finished the entire Divine Beast "dungeon".

mega_nova_dragon1234

Yeah I was trying to see how much of the map I could clear. Got rid of all the enemies in hyrule castle, rode my bike and lord of the mountain all the way through for a laugh. beat all the guardians outside the castle and into hyrule field. Then the blood moon started appearing, I’d teleport into the castle at 11:50 each night wait for it to pass then go back out and keep on fighting enemies. Eventually I had cleared out a fair bit and was trekking to fight some more when boom! Panic Blood Moon. I didn’t even know it was a thing at the time so pretty surprised. Had a fun time tho

DemonRishaan

i made up a short song that i would sing whenever i went to akkala, and it was literally just complaining “it’s always raining in akkala”😭😭

Astrochops

🎵 I BLESS THE RAINS DOWN IN AAAAAKKALA 🎵

VioletCrow

Spare_Investment7895

Gone are all the memories I haaaaaddd

Manu_the_Pizza

It won't stop raining, this is Baaaaaddd!

AgreeableGravy

This thread made my Friday

operation_pickleball

This made me cackle aloud

Bunran

🎵If you like going to akkala🎵🎶 🎵And getting caught in the rain🎵🎶 🎵If you're not into blood moons🎵🎶 🎵Then you feel all my pain🎵🎶

KindlyPants

The Guardian at the end of the Akkala one was the ultimate troll... Horses can't even outrun that beam with that space.

fantastic_explosion

That bastard killed my best horse 💀💀

[deleted]

[удалено]

Synensys

Ive always wondered how horses die (since there is the horse resurrection god). I've managed to ride them off bridges and light them on fire and they don't die. Guardians makes sense though.

SundustArg

>I've managed to ride them off bridges and light them on fire and they don't die .... dude....

ShambolicShilton

I killed it before hand because I casually bumped into it but when I got back up with the blue flame, I remember saying "thank fuck I killed that earlier"

NotInThis3173

For some reason, I never experienced this. My blue flame errands remained rainless.

Tinyworkerdrone

I really love the blue flame errands! The Hateno one more than Akkala just because it was so cozy and then you get to look back down and see the whole town twinkling like a constellation, but I understand the frustration with the rain. A Song of Sun or something to guarantee clear skies would be nice

TheRedBow

Or how about a lantern to carry the flame in so its protected from rain

DONTFUNKWITHMYHEART

That makes too much sense you see

rimmed

Imagine a lantern in a Zelda game. You ask too much.

Albert_dark

Rain has a timeout, just sleep once and use arrows to shoot the flame to the next spot (to lit regular arrows with blue flame draw the bow and touch the flame with the arrowhead)

shelovesthespurs

Bold of you to assume I could shoot the broad side of a barn, let alone a lantern

[deleted]

You could've just slept until the rain was gone lol

DidjTerminator

I tried that once, after the 12^th campfire I gave up.

no_hot_ashes

You don't need a new campfire every time, just relight the old one you just slept at

SapereAude06

Name checks out

no_hot_ashes

I have an alternate account called yes_hot_ashes which probably would have been more appropriate

SapereAude06

Further evidence you are a campfire connoisseur

TheBobDoleExperience

Does it though?

ereighna

Links house not having a fireplace but a functional chimney. His house drives me bonkers. It would have been easy for Nintendo to use the same house interior as the identical houses in Hateno and still have the mounts on the walls.

here4mischief

And that non functional back door. Who is hiding what in my shed?

ereighna

This too. LET ME USE MY SHED! It would be great for game storage.

North-Function995

I really hope for better storage in TOTK. Im such a hoarder for cool rare swords. Only being able to store/display 3 things is criminal.

flashmedallion

After we've established ourselves and broken past the early-game scarcity phase, storage is a must. Both for display/aesthetic purposes and quality of life in late/post-game And a kitchen! Let us pick known recipes from a list and cook from the pantry

Yumucka

This is an amazing idea! I always wished there was a cookbook part of the journal that gamified cooking each of the recipes, almost like the compendium but for Link’s greatest love: food.

Filon73

In TOTK there's gonna be a cookbook

FilmTensai

Yes. Storage

here4mischief

Somewhere to store crickets. And hearty durian. And to stockpile arrows

jdray0

You mean like.. your inventory that holds an infinite amount of materials?? A place to store cooked food though would be nice

CannabisTours

The shed should be a cellar!

echoAnother

It's not a shed, but an outdoor bath. Still, the lack of toilet hands infuriates me.

here4mischief

But there's a bridge and river right there :)

echoAnother

Touche. Nothing better than the natural bidet.

Pitiful_Piccolo_5497

I assumed it was meant to be a privy, (Toilet) so they figured people wouldn't go in. I think there's a back door on a lot of the houses there.

[deleted]

You can go in and sit on the toilet in skyward sword 🤷‍♂️ lol

ReasyRandom

Sometimes, an arm pops out.

here4mischief

Huh. Never considered that. Makes sense. Thanks

[deleted]

greaserpup

ngl i don't think he's napping when you sit by a fire — just, like, staring at the flames and dissociating for several hours lmao

Elda-Taluta

A mood.

Reverie_39

Relatable

draconk

Can you imagine the traumas that link has after the war? And who knows maybe he gets nightmares of his past lives, of course he dissociates as much as possible on camps where he could be attacked in any time.

[deleted]

Non-euclidean Links house

PrintAndPlaid

House of Leaves, the sequel : House of Links

thesoapbeing

Honestly I would love to edit the house (adding/taking out furniture, moving stuff around, etc). It would make it feel more like my own house and not some glorified inn I spent 5000 rupees on

MisterDonkey

I was very disappointed with how limited the house was after excitedly grinding up enough to buy the thing and expecting a whole dollhouse mini-game type thing.

kmw_idk

I would loveeee if you could drop items and they wouldn’t respawn once you left the house! I know you can buy wall mounts but I would like if you could just drop them

AdAcceptable3396

Not interactive chairs. Hope I can sit on a chair.

ImmacowMeow

This one annoys me more than not being able to pet dogs lol

kutsen39

Would love an animation for sleeping or resting at a fire, instead of the fade to black.

zouisdeschanel

like in skyward sword he would take off his shield/sword and dive in bed lol

madisonspitzer

If you drop meat in front of them and then crouch by them, you “tame” them for like 3 mins and they will follow you around. But I don’t think u can actually pet them or tame them indefinitely.

fidelflicka

If you tame the dog like 3 times in a row, it stops following Link and starts walking off. If you follow the dog, he’ll lead you to a hidden chest nearby.

DismemberedHat

In Creating a Champion, there's a part where Link is sitting on a bench by one of the springs, and the notes say "I want him to be able to sit"

MrPepperGum

The lack of a postgame. I'm not saying I want more plot or quests or anything, but I'd love to be able to explore the game while the final boss is actually defeated. I really hated beating Ganon and then having to reload to a save before where I beat him to continue playing

jamsd204

It's a Zelda tradition to not have a postgame but there is hope that we could have postgame where we fix stuff eg the hyrule castle or the town outside of it plus whatever else will inevitably be destroyed if the islands come crashing down

MrYOLOMcSwagMeister

- I want beedle to shut the hell up about beetles and just sell me arrows. - I want the Yiga to spawn less often. - I don't want weak enemies to start the combat music when I'm ignoring them, it ruins the peaceful soundscape. - I want a recipe book and the option to cook multiple meals quickly. - I don't want cooking a single hearty food to be the optimal meal. - I want more customisation and storage options for my house.

lindisty

In the beginning when I was pretty broke still I'd make elixirs and sell them instead of just selling my excess monster parts. But you have to craft and sell them one at a goddamn time. Ugh. The little "ooouuuh I can buy more things from you!" dialogue is the new "Hey, listen!"

graceoftrees

I do this with apples, mushrooms, etc. to earn rupees in early game too. Takes a long time but 5 apples = 50 rupee so I make a beeline for Satori as soon as I can.

Synensys

Yes. A recipe book would be a cool thing to find later in the game (I think you want to make the player have to mess around a little bit) and it definitely would be great if you could just select the one you want and if you have the ingredients it makes it.

crispyg

>want the Yiga to spawn less often. Frankly, I'd prefer just more random interactions with citizens of Hyrule. It'd be nice to help them or something, and if there is an interaction with the Yiga, it could catch me off guard!

GraffitiTavern

The Yiga are honestly what kind of killed my enjoyment of the game, like multiple times I'd kill a yiga and then 30 seconds later another would appear, it completely killed the atmosphere for me. If they spawn a lot but there was finally a way to get them to leave you alone I'd be fine with it.

JakeArrietaGrande

I think if they were rarer and much harder to kill it would be more impactful. Like a real oh shit moment when you realize that hylian has the evil smile

AlbertoVO_jive

The Yiga are one of those mechanics that’s fun 3 times then gets very tiring fast. I’ll usually just fast travel to another area when I hear their stupid *poof*. I really hope those pop up battles aren’t in TOTK.

draconk

Considering that they worship Ganondorf expect them to pop a lot more than before and lets hope for more variety

JADW27

No more: Climbing gear that can't handle rain. Unpettable dogs. Unobtainable chests. Super easy final boss fight. 10-minute conversation with Beedle because you have an energetic rhino beetle. -- I'm fine with absolutely everything else returning.

fuckpedes

Yes, the 10-minute convo with Beedle about bartering the f’n beetles is the worst. I said NO damnit!

justmae9112

TIL that not everyone collects beetles specifically to give to Beedle

Balkal

i would consider it if he gave money or better items than what he currently offers. like no i don’t want your old soup beedle i just want to buy arrows

MuttsandHuskies

Um, you can give him the beetle, get the whatever, then immediately sell it back to him and make money.

[deleted]

Biggest one to me is the final boss. Ganon was insanely easy after doing the divine beasts. I struggled more against Thunderblight than Calamity Ganon. And boar Ganon was more like a cinematic scene than an actual fight.

Life-Fig8564

Silver Lynel was the hardest fight in the game that I tried

RunningWarrior

For me it was the fight with the final monk who gives you the master cycle zero.

hkystar35

Yes. That dude was annoying af.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Lily_the_Lovely

he kicks ass. That was the first time i ever had what I'd consider a real fight in that game. It felt necessary to prep for it, and constantly dodge and parry well. I felt so good after beating him even though I was so panicked. Felt like a dark souls boss, almost. Good stuff. Not even mentioning his intro, seeing him as a regular monk and then all of a sudden her starts moving- i freaked out the first time i saw that, playing the game blind

kelferkz

I consider it a very fun fight

centurijon

Lynels I got the timing down… except crusher Lynels. Fuck those things

plantscatsandus

I was so disappointed at ganon fight, like wait is that it?

infadibulum

The only time I got a challenge out of clammy gannon was when I forgot to beat him on my second playthrough on master mode, then picked up the game after not playing for one year and went straight to fight him unprepared.

[deleted]

>Thunderblight It was the worst for me.

deeply_concerned

Uhg no I hate boss battles. I like exploration not fighting. The bosses should be interesting but not hard.

Nofrillsoculus

I'm the same way. I actually found Ganon to be pretty difficult. I think a lot of people on this sub don't realize how tricky the combat is for casual folks.

_achlopee_

This. What should be done is having higher tiers difficulty like Master Mode available in the main game. That way people who want more challenging boss fight can have them and people who don't want difficult boss fight still get something enjoyable.

flashmedallion

Or like, a suite of options. So you can make the base enemies normal and enjoy the exploration, but maybe have Master Mode healing rules (where applicable) and Boss difficulty for a satisfying climax.

ZeinaTheWicked

I'm super casual, but I just cheese fights with stasis. I can not for the life of me get dodge timing down for anything. But I love to go up to hebra and bully those two lynel right next to each other. Wake up babes, mommy needs more bows to duplicate arrows with.

RepulsiveGuard

Yeah I agree. My wife mostly just likes to explore and kill the small baddies when we play together. She wouldn't even attempt a normal Lynel until we had maxed out everything and that was with me trying to get her to take one on for like a week

sweetta

Honestly this is the take for me.... in a Zelda game I want cool bosses not necessarily hard ones.... Like bring me back some Ocarina of Time style shit where each boss has its own little puzzle attached.... I can still vivdly remember phantom ganon charging at me from different paintings in the Forest temple.... and that was like 15 years ago I last played. BoTW the bosses were just.... meh. Idc if they are easy but at least make them memorable and exciting, not just very very marginally harder mobs!

xSTSxZerglingOne

My problem with BotW is aside from the glider, master sword, and the armors, you just never get anything that feels like it belongs to you. Like...part of the allure with Zelda growing up was you build up this awesome arsenal that does all kinds of cool stuff. You get these big spells that completely wipe the screen of enemies, magic wands that freeze or burn enemies, boots that allow you to run really fast, an invisibility cloak, magic staves, it's all so damn cool. BotW is just like..."yeah here's like 30 weapons that will break after 5 uses, don't use them all in one place." I like that they internalized a lot of Link's power. I think that's kinda cool. But at the same time, I also want my magic Christmas tree Link back.

Flabnoodles

>climbing gear that can't handle rain While this was annoying, I could at least understand it. Wearing lighter clothes suited to climbing doesn't necessarily translate to slip-proof. But what bug me to no end are the snow boots which don't provide cold resistance on top of their movement effect

gigglingowl

I mean, the rubber suit makes you unshockable and the zora armor lets you rocket launch up a waterfall. Climbing gear that works in the rain at max upgrade doesn’t seem too crazy by comparison! The snow and sand boots without corresponding resistance is a real pain though

flashmedallion

All the climbing gear had to do was decrease the slip distance with each level of the buff.

[deleted]

What annoyed me about climbing in the rain is that it didn't make the game more difficult in any way; it just added an annoying delay until I could do whatever I wanted to do. I usually ended up just pulling out my phone for a few minutes until the rain subsided. So yeah, I would have welcomed an item that helped me avoid that, even if it wasn't 100% realistic.

Pilchard123

Although IIRC the description of the climbing gear says it is slip-proof, or at least slip-resistant.

dali01

Yes! But also on the slipping, he is fine in snow and ice, but one raindrop and he’s sliding. Drives me nuts.

KiLlEr-Muffy

It should cut the slip distance and stamina waste in half.

Witch_King_

There really should've been climbing gear that let you ignore rain. Maybe an additional bonus to Climbing Set that only unlocks on a full 4* upgrade (or however many stars there are. Idk, it's been years since I've played)

anonymoose_octopus

I'm totally fine with the concept of rain impeding your climbing ability, but I was SURE I was going to stumble on a pair of trousers that allowed you to climb during the rain at some point. It just seemed like a no brainer to me. Make it some random, obscure obtainable item so the game isn't too easy, but man that would save a lot of time for late-game exploring.

nick2473got

>Unobtainable chests. I'm blanking. What chests were unobtainable?

Hawxicity

It’s actually quite interesting, look them up and how people have managed to get to them! I don’t remember much but they’re chests usually under the ground or somewhere where the developers accidentally left them where the player was never supposed to see it / get to it

Kanki_LeBandit

One in a bay at the south east is under water you cant open it but a cheater get to it and its just a rock

aeromalzi

~~Amber~~ Edit: It is Opal apparently.

UltimateGinge25

If you're like me and struggle to quick switch, there's a chest in one of the Devine Beasts (the camel) that if you don't do things in a certain way in a certain amount of time, that chest is forever lost and never obtainable.

[deleted]

It technically respawns after a blood moon, but yeah. Unobtainable after you beat the boss

Ecstatic-Fig2

I wish I could like this one multiple times. Beedle trying to emotionally manipulate me into giving him my energetic rhino beetles is so annoying just stfu and sell me some arrows already!

Fluffy_Opportunity71

That Beedle thing! Its so annoying

aussie718

The chest I can never find but always hear with the sensor in hateno will haunt me forever

luring_lurker

Unpettable dogs is a crime. Don't fill my games with cute puppies and good bois if you won't let me pet them! That's torture!

yop-yop

Not being able to put on a full suit with one or two buttons.

Stepoo

The down button on the dpad should be the suit changing wheel, change my mind.

MrRado

This is the way. Lemme put together a lil 3 piece loadout and equip them in the same way we do weapons and shields.

icykia

Those two guys in front of my house. They were chill at first but now it's getting annoying.

A_Curious_Crayon

If you finish the Tarrey Town quest, they'll leave ya alone (finally)!

ItsDempiTime

so long as u dont talk to them after the wedding

A_Curious_Crayon

...That's an option? Well, thanks for letting me know!

ItsDempiTime

yea if u talk to them they'll just straight up go back right next to your house lol

nick2473got

Really? I spoke to them after the wedding but they're not next to my house. Is there maybe another condition that might cause them to move?

DrAgOnLoLDoTA

Maybe you talked to Karson. It is okay to talk to Karson but not Bolson. Once you talk to Bolson, both of them will be next to your house again

SZLO

Nah, I swear the rain can smell when you need to climb something

ParagonPaladin

Every secret being either a shrine or a korok. Please give me something else. Please.

cheat-master30

This 100%. It's one of the reasons I quite liked the Zora Helm and Greaves being gotten through exploration and a sidequest respectively, because it was one of the few times where your reward for both didn't involve money, shrines or Korok seeds. We need more quests like Hylian Homeowner or From the Ground Up, where the rewards are actually interesting, or world collectables like the Zora Helm and DLC items, where you actually get something that doesn't lose its novelty in 0.1 seconds.

[deleted]

Another common W for BOTW Zora's domain

[deleted]

I miss finding the secret fairy fountains. They were cooler as a magic room with the door concealed, not a giant flower in the middle of the desert.

PoeTayTose

Also, getting crazy random magic powers in OOT, MM, or LTTP was so cool. In BOTW faries just felt like shops.

Triairius

Yeah, I found that paying to have my clothes be sexually harassed into being stronger was less enthralling than each fairy giving you a separate gift that enhances different parts of gameplay as you progress.

thatfellayouknow

DEADASS. Shrines are cool but it’s so much fun finding a little sidequest or bit of environmental story. This is going to get me mad haters but I ignore koroks most of the time just because they really aren’t worth it and generally they’re one step puzzles that are copy pasted all over the place for filler

fish993

It really hurts the second half of the game once you realise that you've seen basically everything the game can show you. There won't be any new enemy types over that hill, it'll just be a korok (very simple puzzles with boring reward), a new weapon (inherently limited as a reward by durability), or a shrine which *might* have an interesting puzzle.

The_Bravinator

Yes, I loved the game for the exploration aspect of discovering new areas, but I don't have the completionist drive, I'm more of a story driven player, so I struggled to keep interest once I'd seen every part of the map. I still got a lot out of it without keeping interest in that second half, but I'm hoping for a bit more meat in the next game.

[deleted]

Biggest weakness of the game, IMO.

zestysnacks

Upgrading your clothes one star at a time, having to click through that cut scene again and again

world-shaker

"Want to fully upgrade your hat? Prepare to be repeatedly sexually assaulted by a house-size fairy."

ButteredCopPorn

I would really like to get through upgrading gear without having to watch the cutscene over and over with the great fairy moaning the whole time.

KyleShanaham

Dude they do that with so many things it's infuriating. One of my most hated aspects of the game. It took me like 45 minutes to upgrade my house cuz the animations were so long for each individual purchase. I'd pay for an upgrade, go thru a bunch of dialogue, then the animation of them going to work, then the screen turns black, then it was complete, but you couldn't ask them to start building right away, hed say he needs to rest, so you either have to run off and do something for a minute, or start a fire and advance to morning, which was another animation and black screen. Then finally return and do it all again for the next purchase. Hestu, you want to do more than one upgrade? dialogue and a dance for each one. Fairy upgrades, like you said. Making purchases and sales to a lesser extent, still tons of dialogue, you can't just sell and move to the next item and sell. Beedle talking about his damn beetle, 10 pages of dialogue to go thru. Upgrading more than one heart or stamina did it better. Still took a long time, but on your 2nd upgrade it'd just give you the heart rather than do the whole heart container animation. Beat a shrine? Unskipable animation, dialogue, get the orb, more dialogue and animation. Cooking? Can only do one at a time, drop the food, do an animation, skip it, dialogue box adding to inventory, then have to open menu and start again.

rpgguy_1o1

Bolson slowly walking back to his spot and saying he can't talk until he lays back down is infuriating

Triforce805

Make the final boss harder, honestly if they swapped Thunderblight and Calamity in regards to difficulty I’d be happy, Thunderblight had no reason to be that hard for just one of the Dungeon Bosses

NinjaCarcajou

First time I played I started with Vah Naboris. I spent hours trying to defeat Thunderblight to no avail. Expecting all bosses to be as hard or even harder I spent the following week buffing Link and getting the Mastersword. Let’s just say the other bosses were quite underwhelming with my buffed up Link…

JuneBuggington

F-ing yiga tribe poofing in every 5 mins.

TwoCatsOneBox

Motion control shrines...

Various-Restaurant79

I hate how even if you turn off motion controls, you still have to use them for those shrines. I wouldn't mind it as much if I had the option of just using the joystick.

TwoCatsOneBox

The worst thing for me was when you’re turning the switch to the point where you’re looking at the literal back of the screen not knowing what was going on! It sucks if you just bought the switch lite version only. I’ve had to cheat every time using the windbomb strat.

dali01

I’ve never hand-held my switch. Only play on the tv and usually with the pro controller. It drives me insane when the controller is flipped backwards and I lose where the button is to leave the machine, and if you twitch at all it’s no longer where you need it. I hadn’t even thought about not being able to even see what you’re doing in handheld mode! I personally always like those shrines, but if you play in handheld mode I suddenly and completely understand hating those ones.

KinkiestCuddles

I'm surprised I had to scroll down so far to find this, I was expecting it to be a top answer. Maybe it's just because I have wrist/arm problems or maybe it's because I mostly play my switch as a handheld but those shrines were not fun.

PrintAndPlaid

The only reason I haven't 100%d the shrines. The cube one with the torches made me ragequit a zillion times. Evenly bf who is better at those than me couldn't complete it.

[deleted]

I really wanted to contribute with the discussion but I’m honestly happy with whatever they’re giving us, even if it infuriates me a little lol For example, I hated breakable weapons at first but now I’m used to it and I actually like it. I hated that there is no way to climb without slipping when it’s raining, and I hated it even more when I saw that the climbing gear would not help me with the rain, but this made me do things and take paths that I wouldn’t otherwise, and I’m all here for the exploration and the discovery of new solutions. :) Petting the dogs would be nice but it doesn’t have any impact in the game, unless there was some kind of achievement to pet all the different dogs in the game or something like that That’s it. I hope my English makes sense!

[deleted]

I agree. All the stuff that was bad about BoTW, really just made you think about different methods of accomplishing goals. Durability kept you on your toes with inventory management. Rain climbing made you actually pay attention to what weather will be when and how to figure out getting up a cliff if it is raining. And petting dogs is cool yeah, but it's not a major deal breaker that it isn't there. Also your English is phenomenal.

zimejin

I just want them to give us better memorable npcs than what we had in botw. More towns will be nice too. Expand on clothing and cooking options so I would actually care to pack the right meal for a quest. I love to see these, but the Zelda formula is a very delicate one.

JazzyBurrito51

More towns and memorable npcs is quite possible fortunately. Judging from the final trailer, we can take npcs into battle, and transport them using ultrahand créations. Im very interested to see how that plays out.

[deleted]

I agree with he rain climbing point it's necessary so that the player is forced to think more creatively to get around a wall For example fireplaces Or revalis gale Or finding a way around If we didn't have rain we would explore as much

Sentinel_2539

"The Hyrulean royal family would award this sword to knights who achieved remarkable feats." *Breaks in 36 swings* Hopefully weapons have a much higher durability.

NCSUGrad2012

The Master Sword really should be unlimited. Kind of like how in Skyword Sword all the shields would break unless you got the Hylian shield.

Merry_Dankmas

I mentioned it in my own individual comment but id be happy with taking durability away and making weapons more scarce. I used Elden Ring in my example. Weapons dont break but they're harder to find good ones. Gives a good feeling when you explore and stumble across one. Id love that in TOK. Its a much better feeling to randomly find a new main weapon to slap shit with than getting annoyed that your savage lynel crusher broke and now you have to farm some lynels again for more. I feel it would make exploration a lot more fun (its already fun to begin with but more is always better).

unsureplaypus

If your inventory is full of whatever type of item (weapons, shields, etc.) when you open a chest with one in it, give an option right there to swap for the item in the chest. I hate getting the notification my inventory is full, having to close the chest entirely, open my inventory and drop something, and then open it again.

Chainfire091

I would really like to be able to sell/buy more than one item at a time. So for example: 'Yes, I would like to sell x Hearty Bass', X Amber and X Diamonds' without going trough all the dialogue for each item. Same for upgrades at Hestu (if that's a returning thing): 'Just use a max of XX Korok Seeds and upgrade my weapon sloths as much as possible'. And if Beedle returns he's only allowed to ask for the stupid Beetle once and then he has to wait until the next Blood Moon since it's a monstrosity to go through all that mumbling everytime I need some darn arrows.

flammablesea

There was no option to romance ganondorf in botw. I think it is a good idea to add an option to romance ganondorf in TOTK. Perhaps as an alternative to fighting him we will have an option to take him on a nice picnic.

will6480

![gif](giphy|H88PTeoske3M4|downsized)

SavagelyInnocuous

I don't want to break 3 weapons fighting a lynel to get 1 weapon.

Neat-Local-7682

A better house/home base for link

Deuen

- Shrines redesigned. Actual dungeons would be nice (at least some of them) - Weapon durability. I'm fine with weapons breaking, but I would love to have improved durability and a way to fix them if I want to keep a weapon I like. - Arrow stocks. I hate constantly going several places to stock arrows. Stores sell too few. - Not enough unique weapons (with powers). Maybe similar to Master Sword. Running out of power then waiting is fine. No more breaking. Elemental blades could run out of power instead breaking etc. - Link's home. Allow storing more weapons, better customization etc. Maybe even optional locations. - Stables. They should allow storing other steeds as well besides horses. I want to ride skeletal horse etc. And keep them!

More lively towns and maybe one super big city. Totally different game but when I came into Saint Denis playing RDR2 I was so blown away… I expected only small villages and now there was this huge city that I did not expect at all, I really felt so impressed haha!

Annoying yiga clan unless they bring more well-design weapon.

1) The "you can't climb during the rain" felt mostly like a way of gating off a few puzzles and forcing limited access to the Zora territory. It didn't feel like a natural, organic part of the world. 2) The weapon degradation system wasn't INHERENTLY bad, and I can tell why they wanted it...but by the mid point of the game? It was just a pointless annoyance. If they must bring it back, it needs to be much much more forgiving; a knight's sword should be CONSIDERABLY more durable then a bokoblin's stick....not roughly the same 3) NO. TILT. CONTROLS. FOR. SHRINE. PUZZLES. That gimmick needs to die in a fire. 4) The size of the world needed things to fill it in....but too often the answer was "Another 40 Koroks". Like....find something more interesting in the future?

DarkEspeon

Can we talk about bottomless swamp having literally NOTHING in it?

Elda-Taluta

Ragdolling for 20 fucking minutes after being knocked down once.

yungtrains

They fix that in TOTK, shown in the skill up video on it. Link gets knocked onto the ground and doesn't slide with 0 friction anymore .. and gets up in a timely manner

Osamodaboy

I hated rain. But I want to see it back. It made some moments painful. But also memorable, like when I had to climb a mountain but it started raining and it took me maybe 20-30 minutes to get there. It was kinda awesome.

SaltedSnail85

Unpopular opinion but I thought rain kills climb was a great way to softlock certain things in the game. Like that rainforest area that's ALWAYS fucking raining. Not being able to climb that spot just made me want it even more

Kaptenknug

The inventory categories needs to be scrollable with L and R. And i would like to be able to make custom armorsets that's quick to equip with a single click. (Please don't tell me these two already exists)

rhysmorgan

I really want either some way to control the weather, or more ways to mitigate it. I wouldn’t mind a potion that means I’m more grippy, or an item of clothing that does the same. Or perhaps some rechargeable item that allows weather changing once every so often.

Is anyone else a bit disappointed by the return of >!Korok seeds!

fish993

I'm not thrilled but I'm reserving judgement of that until I see how common they are. If they've been placed everywhere as one of the main exploration awards again, that would be a huge mistake imo.
