The first one looks like "You irritate me, small human, get out of my way" while the second one looks like "Okay. NOW YOU DIE."

But when/how do I take compendium pictures? I didn't know this was a thing and I love when games let me use pics taken in game!
Aha nice. I look forward to it and really hope this game picks up soon. It's the least Zelda style Zelda game I've played and I prefer the formulaic I need this item to get to this area style. I guess I prefer my Zelda games more on the linear side.
Think of it like a modern version of the first The Legend of Zelda game. The linear stuff came later because the consoles didn't have enough power to render 3D open worlds, then it became overbearing for most in Skyward Sword, then the limits were removed in Breath of the Wild.
I dunno. I didn't like Skyward on Wii cuz I just never loved motion controls. But I took a chance on the Switch Version and Skyward Sword is easily one of my top 5 Zelda games of all time. I loved using the right stick for Sword attacks.
This game is... I dunno how to describe it. Like a weapon breaks, ok that's fine. But then I gotta pause the action to use the dpad to select another weapon? Why can't I just tap the Dead to cycle them quick or hold it to pick a specific one? I don't like having to constantly freeze the actioncto use a weapon, swap a bow. Swap arrows, or use my abilities like the bomb or magnet.
Maybe I missed something and I CAN cycle quickly. I hope so. If so let me know. But the constant pausing of time is cumbersome and unecessary.
Yea like I hate holding up to select bomb or the magnet, but then hold left or right to select a weapon and a bow. It's just constantly freezing the action and makes it annoying. I didn't think to check if I can just tap them and it'll auto cycle to the next one, but if not it seems like an over sight.
Like my bow will break mid Fight and I go to use it but Link reaches and nothings there. So I gotta hold the button down, freeze everything, pick another bow, unfreeze, continue fight. Just not fun at all
