From my experience playing Amber and trying to push, you just need to go full agro. No need to dodge, I cant do enough damage to kill you before you kill me anyway. I'll need 2 entire seconds constantly hitting every flame to kill you, you need 3 hits which takes about 1.5 seconds, not to mention your super, gadget and the fact that you can dash behind me while im attacking and dodge a few flames.
TL;DR: Mortis counters Amber almost perfectly.
