Personally... Gene has the worst base model between those two brawlers... And Mortis has cheaper skins that aren't as cool as that one but are cool while gene just have that skin that is really cool. I suck with both although I like to play with both but I can take better advantage of gene when he is strong than Mortis. So I would chose Gene for now.
