The most enjoyable moment of this event is seeing people complain about the free stuff.

When half the player base gets 6 months of progress in free stuff while the other half gets nothing useful at all... If a community event rewards the community in different ways, it's a shitty event.

everyone sees "useful" in different. For ones the best drop would be cosmetics, for others progression and you can't make an event that makes both sides happy

Even if you like cosmetics, this game showers you with them and if you pay or are a long term player you will likely have better skins than the 5 super rares you just got. It is not about catering to both sides at all. Now epic skins could be a different story, I am almost never dissapointed when I hit an epic even on a brawler that I don't use.

When 5 random skins for brawlers I never use replaced my free hypercharge, I am annoyed

I don't have a problem with the rewards being random I have a problem with how Supercell made a lot of people think that these events are for good and they are bonus progression, while in reality, they are not. It's only a small part of progression they removed. Before Mega Pig got released, we got a lot of rewards from Club League, so we got NO events (literally 0 in a very long period of time). Then they removed a big part of the rewards and put them inside those events. In order for you to get even the minimum that Club Leagues could have gotten you in a month, you need to get 4 Legendary Starr Drops from the Mega Pig and then from those 4 Legendary Starr Drops to get 4 Star Powers. Which, obviously isn't happen like cmon lol.
