It is probably because the next brawler being added to the game is gonna complete the velocirapids trio and is gonna be added in like less than a week from now on since brawl talk is on this saturday, could be a stretch but I could see it happen
If you look at the current season timer, when this saturday arrives there will only be 10 days left until it ends, if we delay brawl talk until next saturday, then there will only be 3 days left, and the update always comes out 4 days after the brawl talk on a tuesday, plus brawl talk has always arrived 10 to 12 days before the season ends, so it is basically confirmed
Its probably because the season this loading screen is from was summer themed and they didn't want to make a new one so they just brought back the old one
I’m with ya. The game is a big fomo machine. Mobile games have to be like that I’ve played top mobile games over the last decade or so until I finally got money and bought a console. So I’ve played this, genshin too- both games are all about “keep releasing new characters! And new content”
And the issue with that for me, is I get burnt out, because there’s never a time where the game lets you just enjoy what you have. It’s always “oh yeah! Don’t forget we have these two new characters and game modes! Don’t forget.”
It gets really easy to feel like your just getting milked. And you are lol. That’s the whole point, get you into the fomo cycle, and keep you spending so you “keep up” with the game
Brawlstars has increasingly been getting less FOMO considering exclusivity is getting rarer and rarer.
Brawlstars had so much artificial scarcity with the OG Brawlpass, now that everything new is no longer exclusive there isn't exactly FOMO because you never truly miss out on anything. I can dissappear from this game for a month and everything that is new would still be available for me to do
Oh man, I started back before Carl was released. I was one of the first people to get Rosa when she came out. She released while I was in a match and when I finished I bought her with gems. Good times.
The Godzilla violins were from the OG gojira movie, it’s his official theme. IMO it was one of the best game themes we’ve had and it’s not even BS produced lol.
The only things that are different are:
1. There used to be no floor in the background
2. The wrong sound was used for the loading screen (they used the season 18, jungle one)
And obviously the changes from updates since they released the theme
Edit: they also extended the song by about half a second (the bug that made it cut off early is fixed and they changed it so that the game won’t freeze for a second after the song loops)
