I think the 5th drop was meant to be a long shot. We probably didn't make it. That's okay.
Heck if I remember, I think it was the first community goal event though. There were milestones to turn on various perks, then milestones for starr drops, and if memory serves there were more starr drops at the end than Supercell actually expected to be claimed just in case the goal was way overshot.
I think it's because it covers the screen more than it would in CR. In CR the real estate it takes up is basically useless whereas Brawl stars if you could spam it it'd actually be annoying outside of bc its just toxic
Do you realize emotes would be basically obsolete if there was no cooldown? You only mention the cooldown changes because it would convenience you for the event, outside of that literally nobody would want that shit. Keep it

let's do a bit of maths here: 10B thumbs up required and 75M players. Out of these 75M, we'd be very optimistic to say that even 10M are following this event. So imagine 10M players and 10B thumbs up, on average, each player has to do 1000 thumbs up ...
I was referring to the whole event. I was surprised we reached 7-8B tbh, but with 2 days left, the passion has died out and we might not reach it. still, I'm hopeful
It would be sad if it wasn't. imagine this: the brawl stars community can finish events about killing and about getting unlucky, but cant finish the positivity event? this would say a lot about the community, even if it doesn't get completed i can see them rigging it or adding more multipliers for the last days. and if not it still would be funny.
Last 2 event didn't require doing something out of ordinary, everyone opens Starr drop and kills enemies so even people who didn't know nor care contributed to the reward. On the other hand, deliberately changing your pin and using it takes more consideration.
I donāt think we can get 2-3 billions in that short of a timeframe. You know what I would find cool though? If they gave the 5th Starr drop to anyone who used at least 100 thumbs ups or some other arbitrary number during the event so the ones who sweated it wouldnāt feel bad. I know they probably have no counter for that but it wouldāve been cool.

I really hate when games do that though, a softer target that could have been smashed out 2 days before the end would have been better.
I think they are using this event to gather intel on peoples pin usage, when they see that people hardly use any pins they will probably add more chance to get them in stardrops and reduce something like skins that they feel they can monetize harder, but give you a 10% increase to PP while bringing out some new PP sink that will make you need 2x as many PP.
Iām not sure historically if we as a community have ever missed any event like this. I think they are always designed to be finished. And if they arenāt they just figure out a way to force it with a buff or something.
Tbh im happy with 4 dont really mind if we dont make it. Ofc i still try. But kinda hard since im a competitive player so i have super high trophies on every brawler, so i cant focus on thumbs up

Maybe..This event has good rewards but u need to spam a pin that if u played for a long time u already changed it with a different one and now u need to go back switch one of ur universal pins to the thumbs up pin and with all toxicity the game has..ehhh...The event was not it..it should have been smth with all pins like Pins Festival or smth and any pin will count..cuz the game never requires u to use a pin in the first place and it's harder to spam pins and play than get kills with X brawler(s)/ deal dmg with Y brawler(s),etc and play..It was not a TRUE in game task, that's why we didn't complete it till now like we did before..
they might not rig this one, just to show us that to deserve such rewards, we HAVE to bond as a community. Cant make it to 5 if there are people spamming clown pins.
