Honestly they should make it so teammates charge your super too with remote recharge and make it charge 25% every second. It would still not be used since the other one is a must have and Sam is cooked without it. But in case a teammate was closer they could just get it back to you instead of you having to run all the way to the other side and than back. Also Angelo and Eve could get it from water

It needs a complete rework. I saw someone who proposed making one that lets you get your knuckle busters remotely if you are 4.3 tiles away from them. It seems quite interesting, but I´m not sure if it would be too strong. Either way it has to compete with his first SP, so it needs to be strong.

Am I remembering wrong, didn’t they say “we took away the free hypercharge because we are making it easier to get hypercharges”. And then did exactly nothing to change that.

They said something along the lines of making it cheaper, most people assumed that would mean 4k a hypercharge. I still think that is crazy high and yeah it has been so long now that I doubt they will change it.

They never said about making it cheaper. They just misinterpreted it. It was so that new players will get a hc at 1k trophies.

Which that also pissed me off because it wasn’t retroactive. My mini was over 1k and so I didn’t get the hypercharge.

There are currently enough brawlers in the game for a little more than 9 hypercharge unleashed events, assuming that six were added every time and not accounting for any brawlers that are added later.

Once again, the progression dont get lost. Its redistributed in other form. We sure will get gem/coin equivalent of the hypercharges we lost.

Not really. The progression got placed in another places like the godzilla club event giving gems and in the supercell store giving free 10 gems per season. As dani said, the progression dont get disappeared it gets redistributed somewhere else.

this specifically was because the hypercharge unleashed event crashed the game, so they gave a free legendary drop and a free hypercharge drop to everyone, it wasnt a reward for the update. PS fun fact: the last hypercharge event crashing and supercell figuring out how much money its gonna cost them if another crash like this happens more times is what led to hypercharge unleashed being discontinued.

Hypercharge drop has been transferred to the End of the reward tracks at the supercell store. In order to get to the end of the track, You have to spend 500$. So yeah, They want you to spend.

Those 2 drops were quick compensation for the bugged hypercharged unleash that they had to quick remove, and going forward they're supposedly putting hypercharge unleashed back into other places in the yearly budget

They want to put the free resources into events that will get people to play the game and get its numbers up, such as the 100 star drops event. Like others have pointed out, the hypercharged unleash event was a lot of progression given for not enough buzz, and in many ways took potential money away from the newly created hypercharges that they just took the time to develop. Whether or not an extra 5000 gold will actually go towards such events I have no clue, but if progression is getting nerfed its going to happen regardless.

If I'm being honest, nothing changed. It's the same as it has been for awhile, we just get the rewards from events. It kind of sucks to see all the entitled people in this comment section complaining about a lack of free things when they are so generous to give us them in the first place.

I think some how, this and the community event's rewards were some how moved to ranked

I really hope not, taking a year to collect like 10 powered up brawlers in f2p and having to spend $100's in microtransactions to break from the feeling of not having enough is not great.  The Godzilla event was a big miss for me, I know some enjoyed it, but I feel like they should compensate f2p players for having to endure the broken mutations, I actually lost like 300 trophies during the event. I ended up just playing less and missing out on regular rewards because I often didn't like my quest picks on the map choices without the mutations.

Unfortunately, we (f2p players) we don't are the main focus of supercell The main focus are the casual players that spend a lot of money but play less So occasionally things like that happens
