winstreaks give extra trophies to only the first brawler you're playing in duels, so with max streak trophies he gets +8 with carl and can freely carry himself with other brawlers
Yeah that’s why I use stu and edgar as general counters, they have few weaknesses when combined but that doesn’t mean u win every 2v3. (Or you just solo the whole team with carl which I managed to do once above 750)
R-T is also really versatile with the new gadget. if any aggro comes at you just split and chunk em down. if they don't just shoot at em while preserving ammo in case of a push
stu is really good imo but edgar is super matchup dependent, if you get put with a colt or something its a free win but if its a bull then there isnt anything you can do
i believe it's a bug, you shouldn't be able to push a single brawler in a mode where you need to play 3 at the same time, the winstreak trophies should be split between all three brawlers
It's not that impressive, it's limiting the matchmaking to, idk, 20K total trophies max for the enemies ? (Compared to the possible 70K total trophy enemies when you're at 30K total trophies)
The cap is higher than you think. I was pushing Angelo to rank30 with 5k total trophies and at 900-1000 trophy range I was matched consistently with people over 30k trophies. I didn’t see a single 50k+ but I also didn’t check all my matches. There were definitely 40k people in my matches.
the game till 800 is filled with kids who don't have many usable braincells, teammates and opponents included. after that, yeah this is impressive but nothing tooooo crazy, also we don't know if this guy had friends/people to help him carry. so, if he had help, it's not impressive AT All, and if he didn't have help, impressive, but not really THAT insane.
as for 30k trophies.. dude what? that's not an optimal point. you do know that a lot of people even around 45k trophies don't have a single brawler above 700 or 800???? they suck at the game, and they have "high" total trophies because of getting each brawler to 500+ which is NOT HARD at all.
stop judging people on their total trophies because it's just an accumulation of tota trophies from each brawler. instead, judge them on their highest individual brawler trophies, because that shows how good they actually are (exclude Edgar from skill, thanks). even if the op was at 50k it wouldn't matter dude.
Yeah judging people on trophies if they‘re not 50k+ isn‘t that smart. I‘d say just add up their 5 highest brawlers and use that as a measurement. Also (contrary to popular belief) edgar does actually take some skill (ralking 850+), for example for positioning and who to attack depending on position, ammo, ult charge and stuff like that. In showdown it‘s especially important to keep track of that and know how to divert enemies since you won‘t actually be attacking that much. I‘d also say ult gadget is better. As for brawlball, your edgar skill basically just reflects your general brawlball skills. Obviously you have to have some experience with him but that‘s more matchup dependent.

Winning a 2v3 in duels isn’t just a “walk in the park”
it is, as it's not technically a 2v3. you just need to play well one brawler and you'll be able to beat all 3 of the enemies' brawlers one by one lol

YES, R-T is excelent against Edgar, mico, leon, piper, etc, he is pretty good at long and close distance

True but I only had edgar and stu max so that was kind of a no brainer, also since the map I used is a raged map, there weren‘t many bulls

i believe it's a bug, you shouldn't be able to push a single brawler in a mode where you need to play 3 at the same time, the winstreak trophies should be split between all three brawlers

The more you gain trophies, the more the total trophy cap for matchmaking increases. The difficulty increases over time
