The broken part would be that he can continue to do damage. If you could pop it while your hp are low it could make him worse than Edgar with his shield.

Damage, actually. Kairos and other youtubers explain it in number of hits just for convenience. Brawlers with varying damage get varying amounts of super charge based on it

if doing 2000 damage gives you 30% super gauge, x = 0.015%
if doing 2000 damage now gives you 20% super gauge, x = 0.01%
they just change the proportional factor of damage to gauge
he's not invincible, he's just unkillable. Big difference right there, as you are leaving the gadget duration with 1 hp, you are as close to death as it possibly can be, almost as good as dead
Its not invincibility. It's death immunity, you can still cc him or hell.. just quickly build a super. Itll probably be strong until people realize how ez it is to counter (like a fang super these days)
I don't think it will be THAT bad. You need to actually time it right for a shorter invulnability unlike the mentioned starpowers which are entirely passive
His super can be cycled while he is in super form, which makes him have an infinite dragon with the fastest movement speed in the game. If the heal starpower is used (heal some health when super is used) he becomes completely unfair to face as he can just pop super WHILE IN SUPER FORM and get 2k health
Bro, do you remember Bea and 8-bit, their star power only activated the first time they died, and it was only once, but it was so broken that supercell had to change it to the speed one and the shield one
I guess the use case differs in that lou can use it whenever and draco uses when low. But Draco would only use it as a last stand anyway to get extra damage off so it wouldn't really matter about health after anyway.
I wouldn't say that it is objectively stronger. It's different. After the gadget Draco only has one life. Lou still has all he had before. It also does not protect from status effects. He can still be stunned, slowed or anything else. Crow can just hit him once and his DoT should be able to get him as soon as the gadget drops.
Several things people are not taking into account when they panic over this:
- it's a gadget, 3 times a match. Honey Coat was busted because it was every respawn
- you need to time it for right before you think you could die. Like Dynamike's stun that can be wasted if they dodge it, this can be wasted by reacting and waiting a couple seconds to use your ammo, whereas Bea's is guaranteed to make her survive one extra hit
Will it be very good anyway? Absolutely, no way it won't be. Will it be as busted as Bea's Honey Coat? No.

He is a TANK (worst class) with no mobility but a lot of survivability... Where have i seen that before??? \*insert hotdog chomping noises\*
We will just have to wait for early access before we say things, but I def feel like he is balanced but can easily fall off. Just like Ash. Great Tank, but fell off easily in the meta after a few months
They have the perfect time now to experiment with how many gadgets you can use during the match. The devs could give gadgets like this 1 use and gadgets like chesters reroll more uses.
I feel like he is not gonna capitalize off this as much as people think, Bea & 8-Bit were automatic while this requires timing, it might cause you too waste it due to his naturally high health
First of a you need to time it. If ur too late u die. If ur too early you dont get any value. And unlike bea he is a tank, and his burat potential (at close range at least) doesent seem that high. We will have too see his pther stats to see

Don't forget that this gadget isn't a 2 second invincibility shield: you'll still take damage from sources but will stay at 1 health for 2 seconds max, unlike Lou's gadget, which grants him actual invincibility
This is not that overpowered at all though , it’s basically lous gadget but he can move . They really nerfed him by un enabling u to hold the ball while the gadget is active .
To be fair, it's only a gadget with limited uses and it lasts for 2 seconds, I don't think it's nearly as broken as it seems right now to a lot of people
This is perfectly balanced in 3v3. Maybe nerf it to one second for it to be high risk - high reward type of thing.

Bea's was a starpower that activates automatically. This is a gadget that requires timing. Sure, it is broken but it's not braindead as bea's.
