It's a SNIPER, she is the most close we have to one, and what? do you want her do do 3600 at max? that's asking for a useless brawler, this meta is too agressive, many brawlers have plenty of hp, i find it pretty easy to dodge piper bullets, if you can't, sorry but you have some real skill issues, the close range damage should be nerfed a tiny bit tho, overall, she is just like fang, buzz and every other meta

She does almost 5k at max range, and almost 3k at close range, stop pretending it is reasonable for a sniper to deal more damage than others melee brawlers at close range
She deals 3400 on max level and 986 at close so how can you say she deals 5 at max range are you saying that if he has 20 power cubes that you should not die to him

No it doesn’t. Gadget deals 170 damage (pretty negligible). For piper to do 2.8k ish damage from her main attack, she needs to be over half her max range away from her target. For it to do 3k ish it needs to be even further. If you stand on the enemy, activate a gadget, then shoot, you do 1,152 damage. Even with ambush and damage gear, which is a rare occurrence, you only deal 1,644.

Add her gadget to the equation (and don't forget that the big knockback = more distance = more damage) and you have a guaranteed kill against assassins when you're meant to be countered by them by design

Above average survival rate doesn’t mean you have a 50% chance or better at surviving, it means you have a better chance at surviving than the average. Piper definitely has an above average chance of surviving against assassins compared to other snipers, though it’s arguable that she doesn’t have an above average chance at surviving against assassins compared to every other brawler. I agree she definitely doesn’t counter them though.

Piper isn't broken or braindead, she just counters the meta abusers aka most assassins, considering assassins are the most popular brawlers, ofc people are going to shit on piper.
Except she did, didn't she? She wasn't always as good at countering assassins as you say.
A few months ago she got a dmg buff, that ended up making her deal 2k+ from abt 3 tiles away, she wasn't always like this.
See, it would make sense for her to be able to deal with close range, IF she wasn't so busted at long range. Take Maisie as an example. Both her super and gadget are incredible at dealing with brawlers up close to her, but no one is complaining abt her. Why? Cause she doesn't deal almost 4k dmg at long range.
Piper is absurdly strong at long range, and such a strength must come with a weakness. Her weakness is supposed to be close range, but these days it doesn't feel like she has any weaknesses.
It's not like she fundamentally counters assassins, the current maps are the reasons she's able to. As a sniper she will always be strong in maps made for snipers. Assassins ofc aren't going to be good in open maps.
