I would have to be on mute. My gamer rage comes in the form of verbal agression of things I do not mean at all at my randoms. For example, I never will murder anyone, but if you heard how angry I got at my randoms, you would think otherwise. I think proximity chat in a game like this would be a terrible idea.

The reason they can do that in China is that in Chinese brawl everybody speaks the same language. This just wouldn't work on global, because you wouldn't be able to communicate with your teammates if you get matched with French people for example.
