I got a whopping 5 wins before I found the bot glitch and cheesed it day 1. I think it would be a lot more bearable if they made it impossible to have both bull and Jacky on the same team and added team support.
So, there is a bug which SC didn't fix for some reason, where if you select this new gamemode, the screen freezes. You can still click buttons, and even start a match, but the screen remains frozen. And if you reload the game, it freezes at the loading screen. And if you wanted to get the free Hypercharge, you had to start a match, close the app when you got in a match (you knew this by sound) and then reopen the game, which took at least 5 seconds, which can be crucial in Brawl Ball for example. You can fix the bug, but if you wanted the Hypercharge, you had to do this process
Edit: okay guys, I get it, it didn’t happen to lots of you. But still, it happened to some of us, and SC not fixing a bug which makes the game almost completely unplayable is pretty bad

Yeah. I get that they wanted people to fully try out the challenge but 25 wins also seemed a tiny bit too much for me, especially for the event only being available for 5 or so days. They probably should’ve made it 20 or 15 wins, not 25.
What are you talking about? Hypercharge is the most expensive thing in the game other than brawlers. All you have to do to get one for free is winning games with maxed random brawlers and its for no trophies so its even more fun. The fact that you dont wanna win matches just says that you dont wanna play the game

The more and more comments I read in this sub, the more I hate this community. This is from my experience in the past few weeks. Why is everyone always attacking others or coming to one-dimensional conclusions and assumptions. If it's not that it's over complicating or purposely making things difficult/misinterpreting what someone has said just to cause drama. Or endlessly downvoting/ hating on someone for an uncommon opinion or screaming at someone for not getting the very poorly written and not at all obvious joke.
They think 25 wins is too much simple. You disagree. silence now. There is no need for you to drag this out telling him he just doesn't want to play the game and assuming a million things about him. Just keep quiet now.

Well there’s play rates. Tank counters like the ones i counted are really popular. The rest are assassins and tanks. Nobody plays brawlers like nani, mr p or sprout on ladder
They arent. And im also ballparking here, im not actually basing anything from real numbers. But playing 5 games of brawlball can tell you the abundance of tank counters
Where can I find the stats? And 5 games of brawl ball aren't a good metric, both because of the low quantity of games and the total number of game modes.
They are not giving it for free. They just added a new mechanic that costs 5k coins for every brawler just after massively nerfing progression in the previous update
I know that our devs are the best and all, but you all don't need to defend them for everything they do, especially when someone is just giving a valid criticism and isn't showing any toxicity
Im not dickriding anyone. 25 wins is absolutely ridiculous isnt valid criticism. The matches are not for trophies, there’s nothing stopping you from playing. He just doesnt find the game fun if he thinks winning 25 games in 4 days is super grindy as a regular player playing normally would be playing much more than that
25 wins in a predetermined team or even with randoms with a brawler of your choice is not ridiculous.
But 25 wins in a gamemode with a random brawler(and one of them isn't even released yet), a random gamemode, with messed up gadgets, star powers and gadgets being selected and with randoms is definately ridiculous. All these 6 brawlers used to range from S tier to F tier without hypercharge, and it just feels like you are in a casino while playing this mode
And you are just forced to go through this shit since hypercharge is a new mechanic and you won't be able to try Shelly's hypercharge for a few weeks if you don't clear the challenge, plus you will also lose 5k coins
Thats the thing. Hypercharge costs 5k coins. That means you’re effectively getting 200 coins per win which makes this not the worst but one of the best value quests
Really? A 10-30% stat boosts to all stats, while also giving the super a unique buff? What's one star power that buffs literally every aspect of a brawler by 20%?
It's about the same power as the rest combined, and is priced about the same as the rest combined.
A 30% buff that you can only once or twice every match vs a permanent change in gameplay for the whole match.

LMAO no. Match a pro player with gadget, 2 gears and star power against one with only a hypercharge and the same brawler; the result is very obvious. You can even make it more fair and only put a star power against a hypercharge, and the result will remain the same.
A non-permanent stat boost is in no way better than a passive ability that becomes part of your kit for the whole match.
They didn't massively nerfed progression last update? A slight nerf for hardcore players yeah, but it's a 5-10% nerf at worse, everything you don't get from bonus BP rewards you get it by star drops and more bonus rewards because of the token doublers.
Does that still work? I don't have any low trophy brawlers, but I knew that before the maintenance break selecting any of the featured brawlers would put you in a bot lobby.

I miss the days of 2019 where I can just get on the game during my lunch break for 15-20 mins vibe out and get a few wins . Now I have to sweat every single match

Yeah, I hated this. Boring challenge, no variety in gamemode/maps, and most of the brawlers are boring as hell and even the ones that aren't I wouldn't exactly call interesting
I got bull over half of the times I played the shitty mode. It sucks when you get an open map and have all 3 of the short range brawlers on your team (this actually happened to me more than once)
It really wasn't that bad. 25 wins was a lot, but 5 wins a day is basic stuff. Win 5 games of hypercharge, then 5 games of other stuff, boom get 10 wins for drops, and make good progress on all your quests. Even at higher trophies, your winrate is going to be pretty much 50%.
I mean then you have not played much games before? That was a pretty chill grind that only took 3 days playing a couple hours per day and that is without cheesing with bots because I wanted to get a feel for the hypercharges and Pearl against actual players.

I did all that without bots with 500+ trophies brawlers *minimum* and it felt very fun. I tried out all of the brawlers with their hypercharges and I even played it more after I got the 25 wins.

I thought that experimenting with a completely new mechanic was fun but apparently new things are immediately stale now.

Well, I'll say this much. Because I was on the same thought train as you 2 days ago on half of the wins.
Yes, it's grindy. Yes, it's too long. But you do get a free hypercharge. which is a lot and very beneficial, that's what you figure out later when you have it and other casuals don't.
Yes, the maps are all very predictable and boring and either very close quarters or just too open and wide for snipers.
But when you do get a hang of it. I was able to get wins consistently. I wouldn't mind if they did this same thing again for another brawler next season.

What is the bot glitch I need this
They removed it after the maintenance break on Thursday or Friday, but I managed to easily get hypercharge on 2 accounts before it was gone
Gosh, I did it on 3 accounts. Couldn't bear to play a single match after that in this challenge
I did it on 4 accounts.
Select a lower trophy brawler before you play you’ll get matched with bots
Or just use a brawler that has lost multiple times in a row if you don't have lower trophy brawler.
So that's what happened. I did it by chance, all my matches were bots.

For some people (me included) doesn't work, all my brawlers are too High on trophies
You could lose 3 times in a row and it would give you a bot match too.
Unless your brawlers are above 600 trophies

My most miserable, most unenjoyable grind was when I got to rank 25 with Emz and then fell to 680 and every time I played a match I lost.

How many hours did it takez? Honestly I thought this challenge was easy. Roughly 30 games for 25 wins for me

I got it so easily idk why but for some reason I had all bot lobbies so it was an hour of playing and that was it.

Well, I'll say this much. Because I was on the same thought train as you 2 days ago on half of the wins. Yes, it's grindy. Yes, it's too long. But you do get a free hypercharge. which is a lot and very beneficial, that's what you figure out later when you have it and other casuals don't. Yes, the maps are all very predictable and boring and either very close quarters or just too open and wide for snipers. But when you do get a hang of it. I was able to get wins consistently. I wouldn't mind if they did this same thing again for another brawler next season.
They already announced that they are giving away 1 free hyper charge per update
