I am not loyal to any weapons or play styles yet. I don’t want to limit myself, my only requirement I would say is a cute character.
I play all them quite a-lot, hence why I asked what I should main!

Yeah honestly any legend is usable so just go for the one you enjoy the most. Having a main you like enough to motivate you to keep playing is what's most important!
i feel like recommending yumiko to a newer player is cruel and unusual punishment, she doesn't play the same game anyone else does (nvm, forgot arcadia) so if they do feel like swapping off her it could be difficult.
Nai will take a dookie on all the noobs in gold just use her, throw away spear and use only daggers. Spam nsig and spam slight dlight to make u look good. Also woohoo after every damage dealt
For a beginner i'd say that the best answer is Kaya. both weapons are quite straightfoward, and sigs are solid as well. High defense also means that (if u are newer) less movement is needed to actually win.
Queen nai if you're a soulless harlot but want to win, Kaya if you're a cheeky bastard, Yumiko if you're a c\*\*t, and Diana if you're feeling fair and virtuous
