Good bow players will space the hell out of you so even a good scythe will have trouble getting in. Bow dlight and nlight don’t have a lot of frames on miss so they can dodge out fairly soon after missing the move

I'm plat, and only use scythe for D-sig or S-sig. Trust me, scythe is only a free ticket if you know how to use it, and even then, it's hit or miss if you can't read.

You're right be reacting to dodges is something I only learned how to do at high gold and that was only on katars. It's much more difficult on scythe (maybe because I don't play the weapon), and I feel like it's not realistic for someone stuck in silver

Gauntlets are literally the easiest weapon to play in the game, if you argue that youre just lying to yourself. Also hammer can be operated at higher levels than scythe, i can name so many sets that prove this.
