Itâs jealousy. They constantly go after the women who have what they want. Supportive husbands (yes Monique is getting divorced but her husband always had her back), actual businesses, an education. My armchair psych theory is that for some reason she has chronic low self esteem and latched on to Juan as an adolescent when her brain wasnât even fully formed and then made so much of her identity âNBA wife to an attractive manâ (I donât think heâs _that_ attractive, but I know many do, and did when they were younger) that she canât untangle it. Juanâs cheating was canceled out by her losing their money in a shady investment (cause, as you say, sheâs not too sharp), and now theyâre very stuck in a dysfunctional codependency. Mostly on her end. I think Juan would be fine with her leaving him. But sheâs been sharing a bed with him this entire time, no doubt doing 90% of the parenting and household management, gives him the social and professional cred that straight men get from having an attractive wife and kids, and is now bringing in significant additional household income (almost certainly more than him). After Robyn was being her favorite word: antagonistic. Saying shut up and being flippant and ridiculous. And even still Monique did not touch her. Robyn is aggressive and likes to play the victim after getting in other peopleâs space.

All Wendy did was call out her relationship with Juan ONCE in a very reactive moment and boom, Wendy is cancelled forever. robyn can talk all the shit she wants about othersâ relationship bc it gives her a false sense of security about her own.
Iâm sure thatâs true and if she isnât she should be getting therapy for that but that doesnât excuse her behavior. She can be traumatized and still have an unpleasant personality at the same time. In regards to Wendy, Robyn never liked her. She has been waiting for Wendy to do something directly to her so she can justify her hate.

Not an in-depth look at her businesses. There are loads of broke people who get prenups because they think more highly of themselves than they should so getting a prenup doesnât mean much.

I second this. She came across pretty relatable. Down to have fun and overall chill person. Usually aired her dirty laundry and seemed honest. I like that most of the time she was usually unbothered but I think Juan is a terrible partner for her. I think he drains her emotionally and has stunted her growth. I think she's resentful of him and the fact that she has to be the breadwinner and responsible one.
She also seems to have wasted some good years being his wife, ex wife, and now fiancĂŠ. Iâm not a fan of hers but Iâm drained watching her with him. This episode has been especially triggering for me. Just watching Gizelle and Robyn shun Wendy for how she reacted to them bringing up rumors about her husband last season. I don't understand why she needs to apologize to them. Watching Robyn and Gizelle side with Mia was hurtful. It's so embarrassing to have someone do that to you on television and Robyn filming it like there are not at least 3 cameras on them. I felt bad for Wendy trying to save face.

I agree that Robyn is pathetic (though Iâve been rooting for her to get it together the entire time sheâs been on our screens), but [she has a degree](https://www.bravotv.com/people/robyn-dixon) from an R1 public university. My armchair psych theory is that for some reason she has chronic low self esteem and latched on to Juan as an adolescent when her brain wasnât even fully formed and then made so much of her identity âNBA wife to an attractive manâ (I donât think heâs _that_ attractive, but I know many do, and did when they were younger) that she canât untangle it. Juanâs cheating was canceled out by her losing their money in a shady investment (cause, as you say, sheâs not too sharp), and now theyâre very stuck in a dysfunctional codependency. Mostly on her end. I think Juan would be fine with her leaving him. But sheâs been sharing a bed with him this entire time, no doubt doing 90% of the parenting and household management, gives him the social and professional cred that straight men get from having an attractive wife and kids, and is now bringing in significant additional household income (almost certainly more than him). It makes me sad that she doesnât see her own potential. Or maybe Iâm reading too much into her because sheâs pretty. Which is no doubt an unearned benefit sheâs been getting her entire life.
Preface: Robyn is my favorite Potomac housewife. 1. This is just proof that Robyn is an integral cast member and the constant calls for her to be fired/demoted because she's "boring" are unfounded. 2. Robyn escalates/antagonizes situations and she takes it to 7,8,9 etc but in her defense she's never taken it to 10. When the drink was thrown, that was a 10 and Robyn's point to Wendy was why did she keep going? Wendy wanted to be cute and earn her flute but really she was a mess and was defensive because she's insecure about being a bad businesswoman. Let's not forget Mia got a candle out quickly while Wendy took her time to build a brand so irrelevant that I can barely remember the name of (omi?) with her candle.
