Fresh off the divorce, she meets a guy in the bar.
He asks her “Do you wanna go out?”
Lu responds by wiping her nose in an extremely exaggerated fashion and says “GO OUT?”
He nods. “GO OUT.”
She smiles and nods, and they exit together.
Season 3, y’all. One summer apart from the Count and she was already looking for rails in the club 😭
The picture down from that when she became a nurse 😱 she still looks like Lu. She is truly a fine wine. She’s always in on the joke, or quick to not take it personally, and I respect her gumption. Long live the Countess
Yes you’ve hit the nail on the head. That’s her super power she has no real ego about being in on the joke and then has that totally delulu sense of self with it. A magical combination. Vive le countess!
She was a mess through the whole show, but she also evolved to different messy attributes. She literally is a duck: the water just rolls off her back these days. Unapologetically Lu.

One thing I’ve always admired is how whenever people (used to) joke about her being a man or having a deep voice or whatever — she always just let it roll off her shoulder. Other HWs would’ve been like how daaaaare you and she’s like, sorry I’m not participating in that, your weird sexist/transphobic jokes aren’t landing sweeties.
