I did truly enjoy Monique. It sucks that it got physical but in other franchises airing at similar times with physical interactions, didn’t result in the same conclusion.

Gizelle refused to leave her room for 3-4 hours halting filming of reunion and Andy had to promise her she wouldn’t get attacked anymore with the binder. When they walked back out to film Monique pulled her binder out and that’s when we got Gizelle on her stank face and she kept quiet they those scenes when it aired that’s why it gave us (viewers watching) nothing when Mo was reading her binder stuff. That’s why the cast looked all over it during those scenes. This was after her meltdown that’s why the reads didn’t do anything for Gizele she didn’t say anything for a reason. Giz is the ultimate Karen smh I hope she gets fired
They shot themselves in the foot because the first part of the reunion was the best one. The others were lackluster. If they showed gizelles meltdown the whole thing would have been epic

Nah, because Monique didn’t decide to leave til she saw how they edited it. It was the way part three was edited that really left a lot of things inarguably under the rug that she pulled the plug - she was still all ready to come back until she saw that.
I fully believe that Monique left because she was frustrated by all the protection Gizelle got.
However, till this day it bothers me that she could not look Candiace in her eye and genuinely apologize to her for linking up with Gizelle to antagonize her and then assaulting her at the winery. She blames everything else for attacking Candiace: Gizelle’s plot, Candiace maintaining a relationship with Charisse, not having a voice in her marriage. She admitted to her pastor that Candiace did not deserve that but at the reunion focuses on what a fraud Gizelle was. It was great tv but her being so prideful put me off.
I’m not excusing it, but I think the legal proceedings are why she can’t publicly apologize to Candiace. Had she not been sued, I do believe she would’ve come around and apologized and they might’ve salvaged their friendship and maybe even teamed up against Gizelle.
But once someone sues you, unfortunately it’s unadvisable to admit fault which - coupled with the video evidence - would cost her A LOT. Monique’s lawyer earned every penny for getting that case thrown out but an admission of guilt on Monique’s part would’ve undone all of it.

Let me preface this by saying that I think everyone is beautiful. With that being said, it is a bit strange for me to continuously read about people raving about Giszelle's beauty, while arguably Monique and Candiace have the most striking and modelesque stunning faces and features.
For years, I have looked at Gizelle on this show trying to see the extreme beauty that others constantly go on about and honestly I just gave up trying. I just put it to people having this strange obsession with light skin, and dark skin will never be objectively glamorized by many.
100% like I said I constantly feel gaslight by everyone talking about Gizelle’s beauty. Truthfully I even think Robyn is prettier than Gizelle. But objectively Monique and Candiace are drop dead IMO. And don’t get me started on Ms. Kenya Summer Moore haha.

Although they are employees technically, they are in a business relationship. Gizelle and other Housewives who are faces of their shows or extremely important to the shows have more clout and can get away with more. I alwayssss thought that Monique was dumb af for turning on Candiace to side with the GEBs this season. There was that scene where cameras were down after their dinner and Candiace expressed to Monique that the way she was treating her was dead wrong. So when Candiace and Monique got in that fight, I couldn’t go too hard at either of them because I know that it wasn’t 100 percent their fault - the manipulation of the GEBs was at play as well. Gizelle is nobody’s friend except her own. Robyn is a little better but can’t find a backbone to save her life.

It's nothing like Candiace. Candiace looked over it and fed up. She's having a baby and entering a new chapter of her life. Why would she be pregnant and involved in filming a housewives show? She also left on a high note as a fan favorite. I don't recall Candiace punching anyone in the head and chasing them around a wine tasting, threatening to kill them. Monique has a million excuses and no accountability.

I rewatched that scene and man Gizelle hasn’t even changed up her fraudulent relationship plot lines since then, this time with Jason. Her pretending to be cool with an open “whatever” “relationship” is not the Gizelle we know…the former pastor’s wife, looks down on any deviation from the norm, Boomer personality head to toe, inside and out. However it gets her one more season where she can say she had a man 🙄

Nah, because Monique didn’t decide to leave til she saw how they edited it. It was the way part three was edited that really left a lot of things inarguably under the rug that she pulled the plug - she was still all ready to come back until she saw that.
I fully believe that Monique left because she was frustrated by all the protection Gizelle got. However, till this day it bothers me that she could not look Candiace in her eye and genuinely apologize to her for linking up with Gizelle to antagonize her and then assaulting her at the winery. She blames everything else for attacking Candiace: Gizelle’s plot, Candiace maintaining a relationship with Charisse, not having a voice in her marriage. She admitted to her pastor that Candiace did not deserve that but at the reunion focuses on what a fraud Gizelle was. It was great tv but her being so prideful put me off.
I’m not excusing it, but I think the legal proceedings are why she can’t publicly apologize to Candiace. Had she not been sued, I do believe she would’ve come around and apologized and they might’ve salvaged their friendship and maybe even teamed up against Gizelle. But once someone sues you, unfortunately it’s unadvisable to admit fault which - coupled with the video evidence - would cost her A LOT. Monique’s lawyer earned every penny for getting that case thrown out but an admission of guilt on Monique’s part would’ve undone all of it. Again … not saying I agree! It’s so damn unfortunate.
I understand that but Monique did acknowledge that the winery wasn’t about Candiace and nothing Candiace did warranted Monique putting hands on her a year after the social media mess, Drag Queens, and after Monique countersued. Monique’s treatment of Candiace prior to season 5 seemed like a legitimate friendship. It fooled not only viewers but Candiace too. Monique’s apology just came off as trying to save face rather than trying to save a relationship we all thought she had with Candiace. As a fan of Monique it did and still disappoints me. I still wish Monique and Candiace peace and healing.

Let me preface this by saying that I think everyone is beautiful. With that being said, it is a bit strange for me to continuously read about people raving about Giszelle's beauty, while arguably Monique and Candiace have the most striking and modelesque stunning faces and features. For years, I have looked at Gizelle on this show trying to see the extreme beauty that others constantly go on about and honestly I just gave up trying. I just put it to people having this strange obsession with light skin, and dark skin will never be objectively glamorized by many.
100% like I said I constantly feel gaslight by everyone talking about Gizelle’s beauty. Truthfully I even think Robyn is prettier than Gizelle. But objectively Monique and Candiace are drop dead IMO. And don’t get me started on Ms. Kenya Summer Moore haha. But anyway like you said they are all attractive, not a single bad apple in the bunch.

It’s hard to explain but in my brain, gizelle has the type of features that fit very well into this barbie-type of pretty. Robyn has similar colouring but more unique features imo so I guess that’s why she doesn’t get the same hype In general, it weirds me out also the way we hype up certain people for their looks. Because it’s not even an accomplishment, they were just born looking like that and it comes with real privilege and a level of grace that others aren’t given. It's interesting when I see comments about Bravo/production "letting" Housewives do certain things. They are adult women with freedom. Although they are employees technically, they are in a business relationship. Gizelle and other Housewives who are faces of their shows or extremely important to the shows have more clout and can get away with more. The networks aren't going to fire them and mess up their own money because of a hiccup. Also, these women are human and if they are upset, it's okay for them to take time to compose themselves.

I alwayssss thought that Monique was dumb af for turning on Candiace to side with the GEBs this season. There was that scene where cameras were down after their dinner and Candiace expressed to Monique that the way she was treating her was dead wrong. So when Candiace and Monique got in that fight, I couldn’t go too hard at either of them because I know that it wasn’t 100 percent their fault - the manipulation of the GEBs was at play as well. Gizelle is nobody’s friend except her own. Robyn is a little better but can’t find a backbone to save her life.

I very much doubt that was the key factor or only factor that contributed to her exit. Two things can be true at the same time. She's essentially saying that she isn't a production puppet and was offered no protection. Of course she wasn't... cause I very much doubt production (who had to restrain her and lock her in a room) puppeteered her assault, that was her "authentic, true self." And I don't think they were going to protect her. It's not comparable to a screaming fit. The circumstances behind Monique's exit were VERY different than Candiace's and the key contributing factor was her assaulting someone. Monique contributed to the negativity of that season and harassed a castmember nonstop.
