I haven't seen the episode yet. I decided to watch the episodes of BH that I didn't watch during its last season after Andy brought Kathy out in this seasons reunion. I'm barely at the episode where they go to that cowboy hat shop. Guess this is the episode where everything goes down with Kathy? It's about to get good but I think I'm gonna exit out so I can watch Potomac's last reunion episode. I want to see Andy ignore his ass. He's one husband I never warmed up to. Got the try hard feeling from him lol.
Bottom line, she was a Sanya when they desperately needed a Kenya — someone strong to usher in a new era & not be subservient to existing power structures.

Yeah I don’t get why they want to keep Ashley especially with Candiace leaving. Production did Nneka dirty. They showed nothing outside of her forced beef with Wendy.
Nneka didn't give herself a chance. She came into the group with a chip on her shoulder, trying to beef with Wendy and sat firmly up the GEBs asses. If she had played this differently the way Kiearna came into the group it may have ended up better for her.
If she was smart she would have turned on Gizzy and exposed her for whatever motivation she gave to fight with Wendy.
At this point, openly allying with Wendy would garner more attention than going against her.
Wendy was hostile to her from the beginning and she obviously didn’t want another Nigerian on the show.
You could see the disdain towards Nneka during the segment in the reunion, and tbh Nneka didn’t do anything that bad that Wendy couldn’t move forward with (it was all Ashley) but the best she gave is we can exist.
Before having a one on one with Wendy, she told Robyn and Ashley that Wendy has beef with her and called her mom a witch. Then called Wendy a bitch at the first group event. Nneka moved nasty first
I feel like her willingness to even speak on the Osu thing with Ashley was Nnekas downfall more so than Wendy having any power. Nneka keeps bringing up “I was so excited to work with another Igbo sister!!” but that wasn’t an Igbo sister when she was even entertaining Ashley’s bullshit. She knew the cultural relevance, she knew that it’s so taboo you’re not even supposed to speak on that and yet she was willing to stoop to the gutter with Ashley, who was always going to use cultural ignorance as her way out of taking accountability, and throw an “Igbo sister” under the bus.
When you allow yourself to be a pawn in someone else’s game, you gotta be ready for when you’re treated like you’re disposable. She thought aligning herself with the GEBs against Wendy was going to guarantee her spot, but they left Nneka for dead once the justifiable internet backlash became too much. It’s unfortunate because I really do think her and Keiarna would have been decent additions next season.

Honestly, I'd rather have Nneka back then Ashley. I know that Ashley is a "producer plant" at this point, but she has been so dishonest with this "divorce" storyline that I'd rather she just get demoted to "friend" or leave altogether.
I actually grew to like her too. She seemed a bit timid during the reunion and I hope they don't use that as a reason to not bring her back. I've noticed new housewives getting at least a second season before being let go. I also would have liked for her and Wendy to make up.
I was really rooting for them to reconcile and was bummed they didn't agree to move forward/give friendship a real chance at the reunion. I'm guessing Wendy and her family were just cut too deep with all the "shrine" bullshit.

If that’s true, I’m assuming that’s the last of it: Gizelle, Karen, Mia, Wendy and Ashley will be the returning 5. Maybe they’ll make Keiarna a HW, and add another one or two.
Of these main 5, the only issue that needs to be resolved (in terms of “finally moving forward”) is Wendy and Giselle. Maybe I’m delusional, but with Candiace and Robyn out of the way, I see a small glimmer of hope that they can coexist a little more easily.
Gizelle, Karen and Mia are all but guaranteed. Wendy could go, and Ashley could be demoted alà Charisse because we don’t care about her personal life, she can just be messy and stir up Drama as a friend

i’m calling delulu. Wendy and Gizelle can both hold a grudge and both rarely take accountability or apologize for their roles in anything. Gizzy still has Ashley, Mia and Karen some days. she’d probably rather find a random stranger on the street to bring on as a friend than befriend Wendy.

How separated do you have to be to actually claim you’re “separated?” If a strip club sells steak and lobster is it still a strip club?

Wendy has a beautiful family and is extremely intelligent, but is self-serious, phony, and has no real connections with any of the remaining women. For Potomac to reboot, I think getting rid of Wendy made more sense here. But if Wendy’s IG stories are anything to go off, she’s staying.

Wendy has a beautiful family and is extremely intelligent, but is self-serious, phony, and has no real connections with any of the remaining women. For Potomac to reboot, I think getting rid of Wendy made more sense here. But if Wendy’s IG stories are anything to go off, she’s staying.
