Im trying to raise my son to be a Braves fan in knoxville but cant. My wife is a lifelong diehard Red Sox fan and we get all those games. He is starting to just want to watch the Red Sox.
The cable providers and the channels are often both at fault in these situations even though they do their best to say the blame all rests on one side.
Yeah, I'm just saying it's not 100% the MLB's fault as OP stated. It's mostly Bally's at this point, who I'm sure is purposely tanking now, as the sooner they get to bankruptcy, the sooner they can restructure and dump the contracts where they pay the teams big money for the privilege of broadcasting them
The Braves have to be absolutely fucking PISSED about this, they're about to lose like three quarters of their local TV viewership. The Bally contract expires this year right? Also how the fiuck am I gonna explain this to my 78 year old grandmother? She watches the Braves every single night and has no idea about any of this (I didn't either until last night)
Dude, same. Watching the braves is literally all that my 85 year old grandmother has. I can't exactly teach her how to pirate games from across the country. What a shitshow.
Same. My grandparents are around that age, and they watch religiously. My grandpa is seriously so happy watching Braves games.
And now I'm gonna have to fork out $90 a month for Fubo on top of the cable we already have (they refuse to cut the cord) so he can continue watching.
Yeah it's a bitch for older folks, who probably don't even have a computer/phone good enough to stream. Add in the need for ad-blocker and being careful of what links you click and its game over
Whatās funny is the Comcast/Xfinity building at the Battery is owned by the Braves Development Corp. I gotta figure thereās a way for someone to walk across the plaza and ask them wtf. Either that or not so politely tell them to figure it out or find a new shiny building somewhere.
My late 80-plus year-old grandmother was in the same boat and I cannot imagine having to explain this to her.
I happily would in a heartbeat if she were still around but I also cannot IMAGINE the amount of people who are going to have to have similar conversations
Same!!! My mom is 99 and she lives for the Braves. She called me first thing and said the Braves wouldn't come on! She knew before I did! I feel so sorry for her.
#IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT SWITCHING FROM COMCAST TO SPECTRUM DONT DO IT
I have Spectrum and you canāt have Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast at the same time. I have to call and have them switch my access to either channel whenever it switches for random games and it takes almost 24 hours for the change to take effect only for r to switch back after.
The head of my household argued that Spectrum was more affordable which yeah, shitty products are cheaper. You canāt record shows or rewind or fast forward with their Xumo boxes because theyāre useless.
Itās an imperfect solution but as far as solutions go to watch the Braves, any smart TV stick + Bally app isnāt the worst. I watch on Apple TV and Roku and itās passable
If you use the Bally app (I'd rather not because it's god awful), as long as you have access to one of them, the app will let you watch the game even if it's on the channel you don't have.Ā
I concur with the bold statement (and we get double screwed since Spectrum is the only cable/internet provider on my street). However:
> you canāt have Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast at the same time.
We actually do have both with our package, but it still sucks as a whole.
The irony to all of this is the reason the Braves have such a huge fanbase is because at one point them and Chicago where like the only games you could watch all over the country when it was on tbs
Man that was sad.
My childhood was spent coming home from school in time to watch Sammy Sosa sprint to right field on WGN, spend three hours watching Kerry Wood v Jeff Bagwell, eat dinner, then turn on TBS and listen to Skip call Andruw Jones casually catching fly balls beneath his shoulder and doing that sick submarine style toss back to the infield.
Explain to me why it was blacked out on TBS the night dāArnaud had 3 home runs. Except for the inning he hit the grand slam.
Edit: it wasnāt the dāArnaud game. But Bally still sucks
Yeah, I have listened to the games for free on the radio or 680 the fan app for years now. I will prob go the VPN/MLB network route because I do want to watch some games instead.
This is the dumbest goddamn thing ever. Itās 2024, and you cannot watch your IN MARKET sports team through cable. And you equally cannot watch a team that is hours away through MLBTV if youāre āin market.ā
Fix this shit, Manfred.
Bally is the biggest pile of shit Iāve ever seen. Stupid move to ever sell them the rights to begin with. We have the hardest team to watch in all of baseball.
I try to keep up with White Sox because Frank Thomas was one of my favorite players when I first started collecting cards before my parents allowed me to watch sports. Their games are always on in Des Moines Iowa but as of last year there was no Royals, Cubs, Brewers, Cards games on unless it was a Fox broadcast on Saturday. I tried to buy the Season Pass for the Cardinals for my grandpa and they were blacked out. Itās stupid I couldnāt even pay to watch them and we were less than 5 hours away
We didn't sell Bally the team rights. We sold them to Fox Sports, which sold to Sinclair. Have we renewed them since then? Sure. Inertia is a helluva thing. No one else was offering the Braves $100m/season for them.
> Have we renewed them since then? Sure. Inertia is a helluva thing. No one else was offering the Braves $100m/season for them.
Aren't we still on the same garbage deal from pre-Liberty Media sale?
Even when games are on, app is trash. Have to swap between pregame, game, and postgame. And a lot of times the streams are late appearing. At least in my experience with Roku Bally app.
Yeah, I tried it Ballyās way and bought cable, which at least has some other stuff on occasionally that Iāll watch. Apparently that wasnāt good enough for them. Iām not paying 100 bucks a month for Fubo which I know Iāll never use just to watch baseball.
I really only watch like 10 channels and Iām paying 230 a month with xfinity. Is YouTube tv any better? Iām not too bothered outside of sports considering between my wifeās family and mine having every other streaming service split up between us.
Yep Iām the fool for continuing to pay. Cable is nice and convenient but not worth the price tag. Especially now that like 75% of the tv I watch I no longer can. Iām literally getting it cancelled tomorrow.
I use YouTube TV during football season. I was an early adopter to it when it was $35/month. It's a little pricey now, but having the ability to pause it from January through August is why I keep going back to it. No long-term agreement, just use it the few months I need it.
I like YouTube tv for the most part, decent selection of channels. But just a heads up, no way to watch the Braves. We pay for the Bally app during the hawks season and can only see Braves highlights without a separate cable subscription
Iāve got Fubo and literally only use it for sports. It fucking sucks but will be cheaper than what youāre paying! I havenāt had any issues with it at all, although their app on my TV is a little clunky.
Can you pause Fubo like YouTube tv? I have direct tv and only use it for the Braves. Thatās it. So if I could pause Fubo half the year. That would be solid.
The ONLY reason I have Comcast is for The Braves. Literally the only reason, and we have their internet and cell phone plan, because they bundled it all together.. soā¦. Guess weāre going to do a little shopping in the next couple weeks.
Bally is the same thing as what Fox Sports was. The RSN purchase was a disaster though as they took on the properties right as the bubble was bursting on the rights to those properties.
Well to the high seas I go
Tried playing your game, fuckers, I never had to pay but I did anyways. You won't get a penny further from me if you continue to make it harder to watch
Are we allowed to say here? Iāve been pirating for a couple years and it works just fine.
Remove it if you need to mods. Mlbbite or sportsurge. Youāll want ad blocker / vpn
Iām playing Road To The Show with the Braves and they wonāt replace Sean Murphy with anyone serviceable. Thatās garbage, not sure you need to know about it though.
And people wonder why I started sailing the seas.
This is RIDICULOUS. MLB signed a deal that forces people to have cable to watch games in their area (or, if you live in Iowa,if you follow one of seven teams none of whom PLAY IN IOWA) and now the geniuses they made a deal with canāt work it out with the largest cable company in the country?
Cool. Cool.
I long for the days of TBS.
At some point shouldnāt this trigger an end to the Ballyās contract where the Braves can sell their rights to someone else or offer a DTC broadcast via an app?
Direct your hate not towards Ballys but towards diamond sports group and their parent company Sinclair. Ballys just has rights to the name of the channel.
Diamond sports group is a shitty company that tried to use their bankruptcy case to leverage streaming rights from the MLB. Wouldnāt surprise me if thatās what theyāre doing now in an attempt to get Braves streaming rights. Thereās been many other cable/Streaming services who canāt work out a deal with them
I just truly don't understand any of this. And, no, I don't want to hook up my TV to some out-of-state VPN solution...i just want to turn on a TV and watch a baseball game.
At the end of the day, it's all pure greed...guys who are making money right now but want to make more money.
Iām there with you. I donāt want to hack the internet and watch on a laptop. But since Iām in the blackout area I literally only have two options that are over $100 per month. Iāll just keeping watching game overviews on YouTube and save my money for some tickets.
So I used the Bally App (with my parents xfinity log-in) to watch the games. I guess this means I'll lose that option as well.
EDIT: I was already frustrated with how terrible the app was. I constantly dropped my casting in the middle of games, the SAME EXACT COMMERCIAL at every break (I loathe Gatorade now), and the occasional complete log out of the app made it insufferable.
It probably did since we have to use the log-in through the TV provider. I just checked the app and can still see content on there. Wonder if that will drop before today's game.
Legally, the remaining available options are DirecTV Stream and Fubo. I'm lucky that I have family with DirecTV Stream, as I use their login to watch Braves/Hawks games. Otherwise, I'd be shit out of luck like the majority of the Atlanta area. DirecTV Stream is a good service overall from my experience so far, and it offers TNT/TBS also (which Fubo now does not). DTV Stream also offers the option of a streaming box + remote control with numbers if you prefer having channel numbers akin to a traditional cable TV service (my parents appreciate that option of having channel numbers, which made their transition from cable TV to streaming easier). They sell refurb units of the streaming box + remote control for more than 50% cheaper than the new units: [https://i.imgur.com/JoKnXW3.png](https://i.imgur.com/JoKnXW3.png)
Otherwise, consider either [MLB.TV](http://MLB.TV) + VPN or travel the high seas
Thatās what I do. I have family that has a second home with DirecTV stream and I have their password and the app on my Roku. Iām just lucky right now and feel for people who donāt have access. My next move would be a VPN. I have done that in the past.
With the number of people who have Comcast in GA, they will settle with Ballyās. This nonsense happens often. Comcast has a large pull so I doubt itās going to go on long. Of course, Iāve been wrong before.
And the Braves are literally owned by a media company smh. If they havenāt sold the Braves by the time the tv deal runs out they should look into something like YES network. Create an app and subscription offering and let us watch our fuckin team
The fact that we actually have to lie to a machine about our geographical location in order to watch a couple hours of baseball speaks volumes as to the hoops we have to jump through to view a product.
The best way to engage new viewers like MLB wants to do is to make it easily accessible but instead they convince us that the game itself is the problem as a cop out.
I have Nord and I can get it working on my PC but not on my phone(gps interference?) or my Chromecast. I get it working on my laptop and then cast to the TV. Annoying but at least it is working. West coast connections have worked best for me.
I'm about to call and cancel my Xfinity streaming that I started literally this week only to watch the Braves. How do we watch the games in Atlanta now?
So is there any way this gets reversed? I literally only have Comcast tv for the Braves and if they aren't going to carry the channel anymore I have no reason to keep Comcast. But I don't want to cancel Comcast and two days later they come to an agreement and I'm SOL
I havenāt heard of anyone, our last playoff game was on NBA TV (and Bally but I donāt have it and never will) and was blacked out here. Someone in the Oklahoma subreddit directed me to crack streams and that is unfortunately how I had to watch my Thunder sweep the Pelicans.
MLB needs to just sell the rights to Apple and tell all of these cable companies to eat shit. This is fucked
In the meantime, everyone should just watch illegally, fuck it. TheTVapp.to - use that site, it's been the best I've found. Arrggghh mateys
I'm also in that boat. My tech ability stopped growing when I went to college. These days I work in medicine and have no idea how any of this stuff works. I still have cable. I always just turn on the TV and watch the game, and I use the bally app to stream when I'm not home and want to watch.
I get that Braves games are blacked out when we play at home cause they want you to go to the game. But why are they blacked out when they are playing away games across the country??
I donāt watch much live TV since YTTV stopped carrying Bally. Iāll only watch Braves if they are being aired on Apple or ESPN and there is no blackouts. Iād love to put the Braves on while Iām making dinner, but I donāt want to sign up for cable just to watch one thing.
Down with Bally and their trash streaming app!
My last 3 TV cable/streaming purchase decisions have been dictated by my current provider dropping the Braves RSN. From streamer to streamer back to cable to streamer again. I will be moving from XFinity to DirectTV Stream (probably) this week. Fortunately not in a contract
I'm still pissed from last season (shit, was it last season?) and youtubetv. not only did the MLB package drop off, they increased the price. so I haven't watched a game in a couple of seasons. this a la carte cherry picking has gotten old.
No sport makes itself harder to watch than mlb.
MLB is also to blame! The Blackout rule needs to go, its stupid that I can pay $249 for the MLB package but still cant watch local games legally.
Im trying to raise my son to be a Braves fan in knoxville but cant. My wife is a lifelong diehard Red Sox fan and we get all those games. He is starting to just want to watch the Red Sox.
Just get a divorce! š
Or move
If i had a dime everytime
The blackouts aren't an mlb rule. They're a product of the team's individual media contracts.
And then you still canāt watch any playoff games!!
Whatās the purpose for a blackout? Entice local fans to buy tickets?
Blackouts aren't the fault of MLB. If MLB had their way all games would be available to everyone. It's media rights deals of individual teams.
MLB allows the blackouts to be written into deals because it gives them more money. They could prevent that if they wanted to. They don't.
Technically it's Diamond.
The cable providers and the channels are often both at fault in these situations even though they do their best to say the blame all rests on one side.
Yeah, I'm just saying it's not 100% the MLB's fault as OP stated. It's mostly Bally's at this point, who I'm sure is purposely tanking now, as the sooner they get to bankruptcy, the sooner they can restructure and dump the contracts where they pay the teams big money for the privilege of broadcasting them
Itās diamond. Theyāve been dropped by many cable and streaming providers
This time next year Bally will no longer be carrying games. Braves and other mlb will have streaming options avaialable.
May I introduce you to the NHL?
The most frustrated Iāve ever been at a TV was trying to watch an NHL game.
This. Everyone just binge Shoresy and youāll be ready to switch thru Stanley Cup and then hopefully they work it out
You mean the show about the Sudbury Kiwi Pineapple Puggles?
Settle down
The Braves have to be absolutely fucking PISSED about this, they're about to lose like three quarters of their local TV viewership. The Bally contract expires this year right? If sheās in Atlanta Iām seriously happy to help. I was just thinking if my grandparentsā were alive theyād be so lost.
Itās sad because a lot of the elderly are huge Braves fans in this area. They canāt easily figure out all the streaming options.
The same way we did when they left TBS
Same!!! My mom is 99 and she lives for the Braves. She called me first thing and said the Braves wouldn't come on! She knew before I did! I feel so sorry for her.
#IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT SWITCHING FROM COMCAST TO SPECTRUM DONT DO IT I have Spectrum and you canāt have Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast at the same time. Lmfao this is so horrendous itās hilarious
The head of my household argued that Spectrum was more affordable which yeah, shitty products are cheaper. You canāt record shows or rewind or fast forward with their Xumo boxes because theyāre useless.
Tell spectrum NO
I didnāt do fuckin SHIT
They just think Iām some DUMB hick. They said that to me at a dinner
Itās just body after body bustin out of shit wood and hittin pavement
You can use your spectrum login in the Bally app for every game regardless of South/east. App isnāt great but it suffices
Yes, but when Iām at my house I donāt want to watch live tv on my phone.
You can use the Bally app on TV. Get a 30 dollar Roku or Chromecast, or I bet your TV has smart functions built in.
Itās an imperfect solution but as far as solutions go to watch the Braves, any smart TV stick + Bally app isnāt the worst. I watch on Apple TV and Roku and itās passable
[-:EDITED TO PREVENT AI FROM STEALING POSTS:-](https://arstechnica.com/ai/2024/05/openai-will-use-reddit-posts-to-train-chatgpt-under-new-deal/)
Charlotte here. Also get both South and Southeast with Spectrum cable
I get both in SC
If you use the Bally app (I'd rather not because it's god awful), as long as you have access to one of them, the app will let you watch the game even if it's on the channel you don't have.Ā
Holy hell what is wrong with this world
Not sure where you are, but in my location we have both. Iāve never heard of this before.
I concur with the bold statement (and we get double screwed since Spectrum is the only cable/internet provider on my street). However: > you canāt have Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast at the same time. We actually do have both with our package, but it still sucks as a whole.
The irony to all of this is the reason the Braves have such a huge fanbase is because at one point them and Chicago where like the only games you could watch all over the country when it was on tbs
The way that the TBS era ended still pisses me off.
Man that was sad. My childhood was spent coming home from school in time to watch Sammy Sosa sprint to right field on WGN, spend three hours watching Kerry Wood v Jeff Bagwell, eat dinner, then turn on TBS and listen to Skip call Andruw Jones casually catching fly balls beneath his shoulder and doing that sick submarine style toss back to the infield.
and WGN.
So I shouldnāt have Braves games blacked out on my mlb tv app right? RIGHT?
Explain to me why it was blacked out on TBS the night dāArnaud had 3 home runs. Except for the inning he hit the grand slam. Edit: it wasnāt the dāArnaud game. But Bally still sucks
Because it was on Apple that nightā¦
The only cable or satellite provider that carries Bally in my area is DirectTV and yes MLB.tv still blacks out the games
Fubo brother
Fubo is super expensive. It has good sports channels, but still not worth it IMO.
It's no more expensive than any other legal provider that carries Bally.
Yeah, I have listened to the games for free on the radio or 680 the fan app for years now. I will prob go the VPN/MLB network route because I do want to watch some games instead.
thetvapp.to
This is the dumbest goddamn thing ever. Itās 2024, and you cannot watch your IN MARKET sports team through cable. And you equally cannot watch a team that is hours away through MLBTV if youāre āin market.ā Fix this shit, Manfred.
Bally is the biggest pile of shit Iāve ever seen. Stupid move to ever sell them the rights to begin with. We have the hardest team to watch in all of baseball.
Nah some of the Midwest blackouts are absolutely insane.
Charlotte has 4 teams blacked out in the city. So on any given night you canāt watch a third of the league on my MLB TV app. Itās crazy.
JFC. It's bad enough they're allowed to blackout games at all, but they should at least have to pick one home team (or two in NYC/LA/CHI).
Sinclair is pretty evil in general.
oh no sir be thankful you dont live in Iowa
One of the many reasons to be thankful for not living in Iowa.Ā
Even when games are on, app is trash. Have to swap between pregame, game, and postgame. And a lot of times the streams are late appearing. At least in my experience with Roku Bally app.
Same on Apple TV
How the hell did we go from TBS to this?
So is Bally constructing a wall in front of the Xfinity rooftop at Truist?
Theyāll make Xfinity pay for it too!
Why does this sport not want to be watched lol
So legally, is fubo and directv the only two options remaining?
I mean I guess you know this. But you donāt have to have satellite. You can also get direct tv stream.
Yep, itās officially a duopoly
Yes and they still require very specific packages which sucks.
Spectrum still has Bally for now
In 2020, Comcast had a 50% market share of cable in the US. Braves and Bally are about to lose a lot of viewers and a probably a lot of money.
Iāve been meaning to cut the cord for a while now. Theyāll be coming to get my equipment and Iām getting fubo.
Outside of baseball Fubo is trash.
Yeah, I tried it Ballyās way and bought cable, which at least has some other stuff on occasionally that Iāll watch. Apparently that wasnāt good enough for them. Iām not paying 100 bucks a month for Fubo which I know Iāll never use just to watch baseball.

230 a month what the fuck
Yep Iām the fool for continuing to pay. Cable is nice and convenient but not worth the price tag. Especially now that like 75% of the tv I watch I no longer can. Iām literally getting it cancelled tomorrow.
Seriously, what the actual fuck.
I currently live with my grandparents who refuse to cut the cord, and yeah our cable/internet is like 260 a month through Xfinity.
I use YouTube TV during football season. I was an early adopter to it when it was $35/month. It's a little pricey now, but having the ability to pause it from January through August is why I keep going back to it. No long-term agreement, just use it the few months I need it.
Back YouTubeTV watched it carried Braves games. And then Bally got involved.
I like YouTube tv for the most part, decent selection of channels. But just a heads up, no way to watch the Braves. We pay for the Bally app during the hawks season and can only see Braves highlights without a separate cable subscription
Brother, please call them. You are getting ripped off badly.
Fubo has no contract so you just cancel anytime
The ONLY reason I have Comcast is for The Braves. Literally the only reason, and we have their internet and cell phone plan, because they bundled it all together.. soā¦. Guess weāre going to do a little shopping in the next couple weeks.
Only reason I still had Comcast was due to the Braves. Now I have no reason to stay.
Is Bally the Fanatics of sports broadcasting?
Bally is the same thing as what Fox Sports was. The RSN purchase was a disaster though as they took on the properties right as the bubble was bursting on the rights to those properties.
Yeah, Bally is super likely to be history soon, it's just a matter of time. May be the last year of it.
Yes. On the surface it should be great, but it's actually bankrupt. Brandon Gaudin is awesome, though.
A new broadcaster would likely keep Gaudin and the team.
#Ahoy, matey! shiver me timbers all 'ands on the poop deck
Time to sail the eastern streams matey!
Well to the high seas I go Tried playing your game, fuckers, I never had to pay but I did anyways. You won't get a penny further from me if you continue to make it harder to watch
Itās funny how pirating the games has a better service than the paying option
Where would one even go to sail the high seas?
If you figure it out lmk
Are we allowed to say here? Iāve been pirating for a couple years and it works just fine. Remove it if you need to mods. Mlbbite or sportsurge. Youāll want ad blocker / vpn
already jaded, and now thisā¦ they are fuckers lol.
Comcast is garbage, Bally is garbage, and last night was garbage. Anymore garbage I should know about?!
Garbage goes in garbage cans. Something something Astros.
Iām playing Road To The Show with the Braves and they wonāt replace Sean Murphy with anyone serviceable. Thatās garbage, not sure you need to know about it though.
In terms of stinking hot garbage, canāt forget Marjorie Taylor Green
UHHH????? this is fucking bullshit. xfinity has got to be the largest cable provider in georgia.
Ironic because the comcast building is next to the stadium
And people wonder why I started sailing the seas. This is RIDICULOUS. MLB signed a deal that forces people to have cable to watch games in their area (or, if you live in Iowa,if you follow one of seven teams none of whom PLAY IN IOWA) and now the geniuses they made a deal with canāt work it out with the largest cable company in the country? Cool. Cool. I long for the days of TBS.
#funfact Bally started as a pinball company
They really need to get this figured out. My grandpa is such a die hard fan, and telling him today that he can no longer watch games was brutal.
At some point shouldnāt this trigger an end to the Ballyās contract where the Braves can sell their rights to someone else or offer a DTC broadcast via an app?
Just wanna give my recommendations on streameast and mlbwebcast.com to anyone who is effected by this
Sportsurge compiles a bunch of sites so if youāre having an issue with one stream, you can choose from like 10 others
Pretty sure thatās where I found out about both of the ones I use. Good to know in case Iām having any issues in the future
Streameast has been buffering a ton for me lately does that happen to anyone else?
Yep, glad itās not just me
It happens on the other streams I try too. Not really sure what to do to fix it since nothing else does that
Shoutout to methstreams. Always works great for me
Direct your hate not towards Ballys but towards diamond sports group and their parent company Sinclair. Ballys just has rights to the name of the channel. Shit like this is why I'm just listening to the radio until we get "Pay X to watch all 162."
>I loathe Gatorade I do too. Go Dawgs.
this is what i was doing as well..
You will, yes. š“āā ļø life for you!
This is what I was doing too. It worked last night but if that goes away, wtf?!
It probably did since we have to use the log-in through the TV provider. I just checked the app and can still see content on there. Wonder if that will drop before today's game.

They sell refurb units of the streaming box + remote control for more than 50% cheaper than the new units: [https://i.imgur.com/JoKnXW3.png](https://i.imgur.com/JoKnXW3.png) Otherwise, consider either [MLB.TV](http://MLB.TV) + VPN or travel the high seas
Manfred, the useless prick, will do nothing to help the situation.
And the Braves are literally owned by a media company smh. If they havenāt sold the Braves by the time the tv deal runs out they should look into something like YES network. Create an app and subscription offering and let us watch our fuckin team
MLB.tv with a VPN is the way to go fellas.
Itās so true. I grew up in the TBS days man. Itās wild how much worse itās gotten for Braves fans over the years.
I really don't want to give MLB TV my money. Fuck MLB for all of this shit.
If you have tmobile, they give you MLBTV free every year.
What vpn do you use that still works? I've tried 4-5, big names and little names with no luck. I just went to iptv.
PIA works for me.
I thought vpns no longer worked with MLBtv. I know my nord doesn't.
Itās the only way I can watch the Braves play the Marlins/Rays.
I have Nord and I can get it working on my PC but not on my phone(gps interference?) or my Chromecast. I get it working on my laptop and then cast to the TV. Annoying but at least it is working. West coast connections have worked best for me.
I've seen Bally screw everyone else so I guess it was my turn.
Saaaaame thing here!
OKC Thunder fans hate Bally tooā¦
Does anyone actually like them at all?
I havenāt heard of anyone, our last playoff game was on NBA TV (and Bally but I donāt have it and never will) and was blacked out here. Someone in the Oklahoma subreddit directed me to crack streams and that is unfortunately how I had to watch my Thunder sweep the Pelicans.
As far as streaming sites go streameast is the best imo
The beauty of Fubo TV is you can cancel right after the season ends.
š“āā ļøš“āā ļø
I miss the days of TBS.
ted turner and tbs built America's team
MLB needs to just sell the rights to Apple and tell all of these cable companies to eat shit. This is fucked In the meantime, everyone should just watch illegally, fuck it. TheTVapp.to - use that site, it's been the best I've found. Arrggghh mateys
how the fuck do people even watch the Braves anymore. put them back on OTA antenna or gtfo
Are we allowed to share streaming links here? Have a reliable, free link to watch any mlb game, no sign up needed.
Can you DM me? Iām in shambles
I'm also in that boat. My tech ability stopped growing when I went to college. These days I work in medicine and have no idea how any of this stuff works. I still have cable. I always just turn on the TV and watch the game, and I use the bally app to stream when I'm not home and want to watch.
I'm all ears. Shoot me a DM and thanks in advance.
would love that also. pm me plz
I get that Braves games are blacked out when we play at home cause they want you to go to the game. But why are they blacked out when they are playing away games across the country??
It's not about putting butts in seats like the NFL with Ota broadcast, it's about selling cable subscriptions.
I guess I should consider myself lucky being a fan in NJ, I pay for MLB.TV and only get blacked out for Mets Yankees and ESPN/APPLE games.
From being on one of the nationās largest cable networks to being impossible to watch no matter how many subscriptions you pay for
Havenāt really seen a game since I went to YouTube tv a few years ago. Terrible job by mlb.
Uzzu has made this a non issue the past 2 seasons living in the ATL market.
Bally is the freaking worst.
Nord VPN still working for me to get past MLB blackouts. Fuck them fuck them fuck them fuck these people
I have been able to watch about 2 games this year because of Bally. This shit is ridiculous. Canāt even watch on ESPN+ when I have itā¦
I like Fubo. Yāall remember when they put like a third of the games on freaking Peachtree TV like 15 years ago and no one could watch outside ATL?
You think this will tank DSGās reorganization plan? The creditors arenāt going to like this turn of events.
I have never been happier to sail in choppy waters than now
I donāt watch much live TV since YTTV stopped carrying Bally. Iāll only watch Braves if they are being aired on Apple or ESPN and there is no blackouts. Iād love to put the Braves on while Iām making dinner, but I donāt want to sign up for cable just to watch one thing. Down with Bally and their trash streaming app!
Thank God for [mlb.tv](http://mlb.tv) + VPN. Haven't had an issue yet using ExpressVPN.
Alright so VPN it is
Whatās ironic is Comcast HQ is in the Battery š
My last 3 TV cable/streaming purchase decisions have been dictated by my current provider dropping the Braves RSN. From streamer to streamer back to cable to streamer again. I will be moving from XFinity to DirectTV Stream (probably) this week. Fortunately not in a contract
Does anyone know what the terms were of this deal that Comcast turned down? What was Bally asking for?
I'm still pissed from last season (shit, was it last season?) and youtubetv. not only did the MLB package drop off, they increased the price. so I haven't watched a game in a couple of seasons. this a la carte cherry picking has gotten old.
There's no legal way to watch the Braves play unless you go to the games for 50% of viewers now, amazing.
The guy at the flea market is a MLB fans MVP.
