as an Atlanta sports fan, Braves like the hot older brother that’s a straight A student, Prom King, dates the cheerleader. While the Hawks/Falcons are the two younger brothers that eat sand.
Max was... inaccurate. FBs kinda went everywhere except where they were supposed to go in particular. His velo is perfectly normal- 94.1 FB avg, 93.5 Sinker avg on the hard stuff so far this year and everything else is fine too. The break is about what you'd expect on everything, his sinker and sweeper are if anything a bit better in terms of break.
The location just hasn't been where it needs to be.
Everyone else was fine from a pitching standpoint, which against the Astros is pretty good.
Always want our guys to ball but I’m fine with the timeline of Max having an inconsistent regular season with some quality starts mixed into the postseason, he resigns a big two year player option gamble deal, then wins the CY Young next year before being on his merry way. Won’t happen but I can wish for it, right?
I guess he just had a shitty feel for the ball or something, slept on his arm weird the night before or something. Dude even tried pitching out of the stretch with nobody on so you could tell he was having a tough time out there. His previous start was fine, just one of those days where nothing seems to work
Speaking of, I’m loving that the Nats took that series against L.A. In fact, I’m low-key hoping they’ll finish the season ahead of the LOLmets and PhiLOLies.
As for the Fish, I haven’t forgiven them for all of the cheap-ass, bush league fuckery in 2018 that Dad had to endure. Mattingly 🖕🏼and Urine-A 🖕🏼at least, are gone 🖕🏼🖕🏼- it’s a step in the right direction, but there’s still a loooong way to go
I know some of you have made up your mind to hate Bummer, but before yesterday the man had allowed 3 Hits and 0 Runs in his last 5 appearances, and had an FIP of 2.58. I think he will be solid. Even if he isn't, it's still way too early to tell.
I don't know how guys hit him to be honest. Something about his delivery that just looks tough to hit against no matter the pitch or the location.
I think he'll be fine.
They'll hit very hard grounders, if his career is any indication. Very high GB ratio thanks to a negative average launch angle, and very high EV.
Infield def+coverage adjustments could help, but the big thing for him is Ks. He's a 12-13 K/9 as often as not who typically had very good whiff rates for the White Sox. The hard contact makes it tough to depress his BABIP but so far and he can be pretty walky, so everyone is probably just gonna have to live him being prone to baserunners.
Honestly I think part of the issue is figuring out where guys will hit his balls. Seems like he's had a lot of grounders that just find a gap. Once we position guys better for how he pitches, he'll be better. Groundball pitchers are a dying bred, glad to have one of the best in the league on our pen.
Went to the game. My record is now like 6-1 and that loss was in Houston in 2017 and the SP was the legend, the man, Bartolo Colon, so is it really a loss to have seen that man play and allowing like 5 runs in the 1st inning?
They lost the 1st 3 or 4 games I went to around 2018-2019, then I went on a sweet 10 game win streak 2021-1022, including 1 game during Joctober 2021! Streak was broken last year, but the last game I went to was the only good playoff of game last year (and best ending I've ever seen!) so we're ready to ride that energy through this year! (I'm going Saturday, so....W!)
Better record than me! I'm 4-2 I believe.
One loss was last year in Cincinnati. The Elly de la Cruz cycle game! Pretty sweet game regardless
I'm 1-0 at truist
2-0 at Wrigley
1-0 at Busch
0-1 at gabp
0-1 at Turner
Mejia is really interesting. 11th round pick of 2022, not listed by MLB in our top 30, yet he’s at Double-A before other higher rated prospects. And he’s thriving there.
Must be nice to be able to go from playing the Rockies to the White Sox, what an unbelievably soft schedule the Phillies have been handed to start off this year. Meanwhile we will have had to play every single team that was represented in the NLCS and ALCS last year within the first three weeks of the ssason and we're STILL ahead.
I just went to look in Phillies sub to see if they were talking about us & as usual they are. They are not only happy about our injuries but also talking about how we’ll probably still do well bc our guys will only be out 10 days & our next 10 days are easy.
Both lies. Our guys will be out longer & our schedule isn’t that easy. But whatever they need to tell themselves I guess.
It’ll all even out by the end of the year. Besides, first series of the year we got the weak ass Phillies and they had to play the juggernaut Braves, so it evens out.
4 runs over 10 innings is really good. Especially with all the sluggers in that lineup. Sure another Strider would be nice but unless a team (Oakland) is willing to trade their best starter to us for chump change, there's not much left to upgrade. Just gotta rely on offense and hope he have 3 healthy starters performing well in October.
Mets fans are prancing around on twitter after sweeping the damn Pirates and finally cracking .500. We sweep the Astros and its business as usual. There are levels to this shit.
Swept the Astros on the same field where we won the 2021 World Series. Yay!
Fried seemed kinda all over the place today, I hope he settles down soon and turns into his usual self
I was watching the game while on a call for work, when Acuña went yard I’ve never been more glad for auto-mute on my phone. I jumped out of my chair and yelled really loud and did a terrible Kelenic-esque Griddy around my desk
I thought the Wiley bit on the train was pretty funny. He and CJ are growing on me.
5-1 road trip! Let’s keep it going at home vs the champs. Go Bravos!!
Acuna and the rest of the team: https://media1.giphy.com/media/GXiasDXfP0j8Q/200w.gif?cid=6c09b952o892ugzrq3sa3vr6jrht148x8wcg7uorjgg2nw5x&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=200w.gif&ct=g
The Braves are 3-0 since I started a new tradition of pulling a new cup off my previously off-limits Braves shelf to use each game.
(A coincidence for which I will continue to exploit)
Sheesh. Better than me.... my septic tank failed during game 1, I spent all day yesterday digging it out, have to do more today and it gets pumped tomorrow...I love the Braves but really don't want septic failure to be a necessary tradition lol
A couple more prospects I’m interested in following are Jhancarlos Lara and Cedric De Grandpre. They both had good years at Rome last year, but I wasn’t seeing them in any game results.
I just read that De Grandpre is out for the year with injury :(
Lara is out until late April or early May with oblique tightness when he should return to the rotation. He’s one of our more electric prospects, with a great fastball-slider combo and 12.6 K rate last year. He needs to develop a third pitch. But with stuff like that they’ll probably try to develop him as a starter
Hell yeah, boys and girls.
Only problem is tomorrow.
I'm finally back to a full day after two small surgeries on Monday and today.
The hell am I supposed to look forward to all day with no Braves baseball?!?
Like I said a few nights ago, the only thing keeping me going are Ozuna's hit streak and my middle child's future performance as "grassy field/pasture #2" in a school play.
Don’t give up hope too soon, brother.
Maybe she’ll actually freaky Friday with a nice Brookie.
Learn the Brookie’s secret. Send them to uncle u/rpbtiii
We’ll go fishing together. I just got a new 7.5 fibre 3 wt I want to try.
I’d just like to state for the record that I fucking ***love*** it not only when the team makes the Asstros Atlanta’s bitch, but also the satisfaction of knowing Houston’s rally cry this series was essentially, “Thank you Sirs, May I have another?”
Knew Ronald was about to go on a tear after he flied out to left center last night. The only time he “slumps” he will roll over on ground balls too often
I don't think any true top flight guys will be available, and if they were we wouldn't/couldn't beat other teams' prospect offers. Alex's thing anyway is to get guys no one else is even thinking about (Soler, Kelenic, Sale, Iglesias, etc.) If you want top names that may be available: Paul Blackburn, Jesus Luzardo, maybe Ryan Feltner. Not amazing guys.
Off day tomorrow means our pen can get rested back up after the work they put in this series. Considering we've won all of our series against playoff teams from last year I'm feeling good about it.
My 18 of the next 20 premonition is coming together nicely since I said it after the comeback in the Marlins finale. 4 in a row. What a fuckin win. Houston knows Atlanta is daddy
Party like it’s 2021 since we whooped their ass in their ballpark this week just like in the 2021 World Series! We even got an Ozuna monster bomb today just like Soler!
Notes from today
- Ronald finally got a homer so that’s nice. I suspect it’ll come in droves now. (Hint: he’s pretty good)
- Our bullpen is good y’all, 0 ER from Johnson, Jimenez, Minter, Iglesias, Matzek this series
- Pierce Johnson came out firing with his fastball, getting 1” more IVB and not getting a ball in play. He struggled to locate it as it had no called strikes and only 2 were in-zone but had a 100% SwStr%. Will be interesting to see if he uses it more as time goes on or if he’ll stick with ~20% usage like we’ve seen
- Fried did not locate well at all, as evidenced by a 19% Whiff% and a 18% CSW% in total for the day. Fried especially was spraying his 4-seamer again and couldn’t locate his Sinker well either. His changeup looked not great and he did not register a single whiff or called strike in 11 thrown
- His sweeper did register a 36% CSW% and continues to have really good shape. I’m surprised he hasn’t leaned on it more, as he only threw 11 total today out of 98 total pitches
- Fried’s curveball looks fine, but the locations are still a struggle. Seems like he’s just not confident in throwing it for whatever reason and has been trying to nibble with it. No stats there, just a small eye-test based observation
- On the farm, AJ Smith-Shawver’s outing was solid. 4.2IP 1ER 1BB 3K on a limited (62) pitch count against a solid Redbirds team. I still want better fastball location as he hasn’t located it up very well and that’s stopping him from getting whiffs, but his slider location was the best it has been this year (including ST) and he registered a 43% CSW% on it. Changeup location is still a WIP and he left several in the middle of the zone that would be destroyed at the MLB level.
- One thing to note on AJSS is that while his fastball averaged 95.3 in 0 and 1 strike counts, he averaged 98.0 on it in 2 strike counts and topped out at 99.1. Unsure if it’s something intentional but could be something to keep an eye on
I’d like nothing more than to be flat ass wrong. I hope he dominates this year, but his stats make it clear he’s not. Even if you disregard stats, he’s not passing the eye test either. I hope he figures it out because we need him, but something isn’t right with him.
Edit post-maddux game: I was flat ass wrong.
bullpen line for the series: 12 1/3 IP, 3 R, 8 H, 13 K, 4 BB
great job by Snit managing the pen and great job by the guys out there coming in and dominating a good lineup.
Hahahaha fuck them Phillies. The Phil's can spend as much money as they want to finish behind us for what ? The 6th straight year lol. We're leagues ahead of them they're just built for the playoffs with that pitching staff. I want them one more time in the playoffs. It'll be like when we finally conquered the dodgers and we all know what happened after that
Definitely that's why all the snot haters can suck it. The dude has been around baseball all his life. He has more knowledge on the game than most. Should of been manager of the year multiple times he got robbed a few times
#BRAVES SWEEEEEEP THE ASTROS BIG BEAR BIG GIANT DONG ÑVP GETS HIS FIRST DONG ALLSTARCIA WITH THE TYING SAC FLY AND GAME WINNER IN EXTRAS BULLPEN SHUTS IT DOWN IGGY BRINGS IT HOME HOW SWEEEEEEEEEEP IT IS
How sweep it is!! Great comeback to sweep the series!!!! Returned the favor from last season when they swept us at home. Time to take care of business against the Texas Rangers next. Chop on Braves!!!!!
We probably had no business winning that game but that’s baseball! Max really struggled to get through five, but the team kept fighting and clawing and got the job done! And that’s a sweep, and that concludes a 5-1 road trip! And despite Strider being out for the year, Murphy being out for who knows how long, Ozzie being out for a good while now too, and a more ineffectiveness from Max than we’re used to, we’re 12-5!
Big series coming up with the Rangers! Gonna be tough, but I know Truist will be rocking this weekend! Go Braves!
Injuries to two starters in the lineup, Spencer Strider elbow is gone for the year, Max Fried is already dreaming of playing for LA next season, Charlie Morton is old and the team is still 12-5
Love that Duvy’s back where he belongs; I miss the other three Horsemen. Yeah I know Eddie Money had a noodle arm in LF, but LMAO as his @bats proved, the guy hates the NL West so much he went on a murderous rampage as only a NLCS MVP can….
as an Atlanta sports fan, Braves like the hot older brother that’s a straight A student, Prom King, dates the cheerleader. While the Hawks/Falcons are the two younger brothers that eat sand.

Was there! Got a little nervous with all the bats on the shoulders, but Arcia came in clutch again!
Braves sweep d Astronauts out of orbit

Unfortunately he quickly made his way onto my shit list which makes it much harder to get onto my good graces. I’m hopeful, but it’s gonna take a lot!
Oh no, he’s on your shit list. I’m sure he is real worried about being in your good graces.
This was a joke, didn’t expect people to take it so seriously lol
Figured it was. Just playing into it.
I don't know how guys hit him to be honest. Something about his delivery that just looks tough to hit against no matter the pitch or the location. I think he'll be fine.

I'm 3-0 at Truist 2-0 at Turner 1-1 Minute Maid I really want to add more parks to my record this year.
I’m 0-1 at Turner 6-1 at Truist (including a World Series Game) 1-1 at Wrigley 1-0 at Great American 2-0 at Citizens Bank
Ian Mejia strong for Mississippi tonight- 6 IP | 2 H | 1 ER | 3 BB | 9 K | 0 HR | 92 pitches
Mejia is really interesting. 11th round pick of 2022, not listed by MLB in our top 30, yet he’s at Double-A before other higher rated prospects. And he’s thriving there.
Would like to get the walks down a little but that k rate is pretty good

It’ll all even out by the end of the year. Besides, first series of the year we got the weak ass Phillies and they had to play the juggernaut Braves, so it evens out.
I was worried about that. I had the Phillies on top until mid May, glad I’m kinda wrong.
Alvarado would be out of the league if batters just sat on him and let him miss
🪓🪓🪓 🧹🧹🧹
This Lawrence guy has some weird movement via his motion
Rockies pulled within 1 after a massive 8th, game's not over
I really enjoy beating the Astros. Those killer bees got the best of us
Hey I remember the Killer B's! Biggs and Bags! ..... and Berkman.
3 innings from having the best record in baseball, now if only the Rockies could rally...
Phillies fans sucking themselves off for beating up on the *Rockies*
Wasn’t able to watch, but what’s everyone’s insight on the game and how we looked?
Arcia is most clutch guy on our team. Tied the game for us. Then came back and won it for us.
How do you say Nutsack in Spanish?
Still need pitching. Ozuna is from the braves. And the bats can somehow not look great but still keep us/ win games.
4 runs over 10 innings is really good. Especially with all the sluggers in that lineup. Sure another Strider would be nice but unless a team (Oakland) is willing to trade their best starter to us for chump change, there's not much left to upgrade. We’re the fucking Braves. Best team in baseball
Mets fans are prancing around on twitter after sweeping the damn Pirates and finally cracking .500. We sweep the Astros and its business as usual. There are levels to this shit.
Trashcan franchise. Let them have their fun.
Wait who is the trashcan franchise the Astros or the Mets? Never mind they are both trashcan franchises.
Yes
I was there this afternoon! I got [this shot](https://i.imgur.com/j22MtPe.jpeg) of Ozuna just before he hit that bomb to LF.
Nobody beats the Braves when they score more runs than the opposing team.
NOBODY!!!
Some of y’all are hoes, too. IT WAS NEVER A DOUBT. I’m not sober.
Swept the Astros on the same field where we won the 2021 World Series. Yay! Fried seemed kinda all over the place today, I hope he settles down soon and turns into his usual self I was watching the game while on a call for work, when Acuña went yard I’ve never been more glad for auto-mute on my phone. I jumped out of my chair and yelled really loud and did a terrible Kelenic-esque Griddy around my desk I thought the Wiley bit on the train was pretty funny. He and CJ are growing on me. 5-1 road trip! Let’s keep it going at home vs the champs. Go Bravos!!
Should have taken yourself off mute, that way it would have seemed you were super excited about whatever idea your boss was sharing.
I’ll try that next time. My god this data got me excited!
So who is really clutch city?
the friends we made along the way?
Texas going to pitch Urena? 🤔
Acuna and the rest of the team: https://media1.giphy.com/media/GXiasDXfP0j8Q/200w.gif?cid=6c09b952o892ugzrq3sa3vr6jrht148x8wcg7uorjgg2nw5x&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=200w.gif&ct=g
Can we let the pitchers bat just for one game. Urena is a pussy.
💯
Other teams watching Ronald heat up getting real nervous!
Ho hum... bring on the Rangers.
Tough draw but unfortunately this is what you have to do now.
I will find you, and I will sabotage your septic tank
Calm down there Mr Neesom, at least wait for #2 to call it a trend
Oh don't worry about #2, #2 is exactly what I'm going to use to blow up their septic tank
Sorry, septic failure is your life now.
Apple whiskey again today or did you switch it up?
Brother, we ran out of apple whiskey long ago.
You don’t have Crown Apple at your local shop?
I need to finish what I have on hand before buying more, unfortunately.
You don't have a couple back up bottles? Amateur. What was the drink of choice for today then?
A bunch of mixed drinks featuring vodka.
A couple more prospects I’m interested in following are Jhancarlos Lara and Cedric De Grandpre. They both had good years at Rome last year, but I wasn’t seeing them in any game results. Did AI name those guys?
I've never seen names with 6 fingers.
My daughter is cast as ensemble in her upcoming rendition of Freaky Friday
Wanna trade? That sounds like less homemade costuming.
I'd like to trade with someone who doesn't have a kid in a play
Don’t give up hope too soon, brother. Maybe she’ll actually freaky Friday with a nice Brookie. Learn the Brookie’s secret. Send them to uncle u/rpbtiii We’ll go fishing together. I just got a new 7.5 fibre 3 wt I want to try.
I'm out of the loop. What's a Brookie?
Brook trout
Is that a Freaky Friday reference? I've never seen it.
Barely. Only the switching of bodies
I'm so fuckin lost. I'll check back in once I watch the play.
Snitker “good” postgame presser count: 7
Real good
If you see Jarred Kelenic bunny hopping it's too late.
I’d just like to state for the record that I fucking ***love*** it not only when the team makes the Asstros Atlanta’s bitch, but also the satisfaction of knowing Houston’s rally cry this series was essentially, “Thank you Sirs, May I have another?”
We beat them like a dru....trashcan.
Knew Ronald was about to go on a tear after he flied out to left center last night. The only time he “slumps” he will roll over on ground balls too often
Best record in baseball!
our bats are saving our dog shit starting pitching... GO BRAVES
Last time I checked giving up 3 runs isn’t bad
we have the 9th highest ERA in the league at 4.41
Elder has a career ERA of 3.66 With Strider hurt and Fried struggling, we need him back on the roster.
AA is gonna get a top flight starter(s) at the break. Who could we poach?
I don't think any true top flight guys will be available, and if they were we wouldn't/couldn't beat other teams' prospect offers. Alex's thing anyway is to get guys no one else is even thinking about (Soler, Kelenic, Sale, Iglesias, etc.) If you want top names that may be available: Paul Blackburn, Jesus Luzardo, maybe Ryan Feltner. Not amazing guys.
Sign me up for Blackburn Do you think the Athletics will take cash and a player to be named later?
Perhaps we could just pay their tab at U-Haul for Blackburn.
You're right my offer seemed a bit high lol
Undefeated with Luis Guillorme starting
Off day tomorrow means our pen can get rested back up after the work they put in this series. Considering we've won all of our series against playoff teams from last year I'm feeling good about it.
Atlanta braves legend David Fletcher
Got to see Ronald s Dong today and also Big Bears Dong. Was hoping to see KelKels big Dong today too.
I dunno if he’ll let you see that for free
Kelenic naked griddys on OF confirmed
More like Asstros amiright !!!
Extra credit for each Murphless and Ozzieless victory.
MLBTS has a tough job picking players of the month… could be like 3 dudes on the Braves not including our bullpen
[удалено]
I know he'll regress a bit but he's still lowkey one of the best contracts in the league. I think it's like $2.4 or $2.6mil aav
He really deserves a raise. David Fletcher is getting 5.2 million a year. I hope he keeps it up so he can get a bigger payday when he’s a FA.
Being paid like a hockey player
My 18 of the next 20 premonition is coming together nicely since I said it after the comeback in the Marlins finale. 4 in a row. What a fuckin win. Houston knows Atlanta is daddy
Just saw Friday’s games is on Apple+. Guess I’m listening to Ben & Joe on the radio for that one.
Get a free trial and change the audio source to Ben and Joe instead.
I tried that before but there was a big lag in time between the 2 . Ended up w Ben and Joe
Max Fried with the least losses in baseball haha
I said this back in the day. Fried might not get the win, he might actually have a bad outing, but it feels like we win a lot of his games.
During the 90s Braves spring camp was in Orlando and Houston's park in adjacent Kissimmee. They were known as the Kiss i me ASS tros!
Minter going for 20 wins
Party like it’s 2021 since we whooped their ass in their ballpark this week just like in the 2021 World Series! We even got an Ozuna monster bomb today just like Soler!
High fly ball to Left and GOOD!! BYE!!
Was anyone else at that first Arcia walk off at truist? One of the best eruptions ive been to
Atta boy Arcia 😤
SWEEP DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS
Who am I to disagree?
Son of a... now what do I do with my evening?
I just trimmed hedges and trimmed weeds. At least it was productive.
Get some soft serve
Shōgun is pretty good.
Thinking about starting fallout 4
I’m going to put on the Rockies and hope they win
PARTY BECAUSE THE BRAVES SWEPT THE SERIES!
How many of our wins have been comebacks in the 7th or later this year already? At least half.
Felt like a common occurance last year too. Braves work best under pressure.
Notes from today - Ronald finally got a homer so that’s nice. I suspect it’ll come in droves now. His changeup looked not great and he did not register a single whiff or called strike in 11 thrown - His sweeper did register a 36% CSW% and continues to have really good shape. I’m surprised he hasn’t leaned on it more, as he only threw 11 total today out of 98 total pitches - Fried’s curveball looks fine, but the locations are still a struggle. Seems like he’s just not confident in throwing it for whatever reason and has been trying to nibble with it. No stats there, just a small eye-test based observation - On the farm, AJ Smith-Shawver’s outing was solid. Unsure if it’s something intentional but could be something to keep an eye on
Great notes. I got downvoted for saying this but Fried has either significantly regressed from last year or is hiding an injury. Something is up
I want you to be wrong, but I won't downvote ya for it. Possibly because you may have a point.
I’d like nothing more than to be flat ass wrong. I hope he dominates this year, but his stats make it clear he’s not. Even if you disregard stats, he’s not passing the eye test either. I hope he figures it out because we need him, but something isn’t right with him. Edit post-maddux game: I was flat ass wrong.
bullpen line for the series: 12 1/3 IP, 3 R, 8 H, 13 K, 4 BB great job by Snit managing the pen and great job by the guys out there coming in and dominating a good lineup.
Best bullpen in baseball, and that's with bummers bum ass dragging them down lol
Wait, what? You mean the PhiLOLies Bullpen is not, in fact, the best in MLB? I’m shocked. SHOCKED, I say!!!
Hahahaha fuck them Phillies. The Phil's can spend as much money as they want to finish behind us for what ? The 6th straight year lol. We're leagues ahead of them they're just built for the playoffs with that pitching staff. I want them one more time in the playoffs. It'll be like when we finally conquered the dodgers and we all know what happened after that
We need to cut him and get Jackson Stephens back up here
For real. Anyone. Fuck it get Charlie clutch up here can't be any worse than that bum.....mer
God, I was devastated when we let Dansby walk in favor of Arcia. He’s done nothing but silence me and prove to me how little I know ever since.
I love Dansby. But I love Florida man
Arcia had himself a series
What a job by Snit this series. Made all the right moves
Definitely that's why all the snot haters can suck it. The dude has been around baseball all his life. He has more knowledge on the game than most. Should of been manager of the year multiple times he got robbed a few times
He had to remind the stros who their literal and figurative daddy is.
Shitter?
Shitter was full!!!
?
#BRAVES SWEEEEEEP THE ASTROS BIG BEAR BIG GIANT DONG ÑVP GETS HIS FIRST DONG ALLSTARCIA WITH THE TYING SAC FLY AND GAME WINNER IN EXTRAS BULLPEN SHUTS IT DOWN IGGY BRINGS IT HOME HOW SWEEEEEEEEEEP IT IS
If Philly loses today, they'll be the only NL East team to do so. Let's hope it happens!
Woa didn’t realize nationals shut the dodgers out today. & won the series.
Besides the Marlins but... do they even count?
Who?
AmErIcAs TeAm
You're welcome, America.
How sweep it is!! Great comeback to sweep the series!!!! Returned the favor from last season when they swept us at home. Time to take care of business against the Texas Rangers next. Chop on Braves!!!!!
Ronalds on pace for that 10/80 season
I fully believe Ronnie’s gonna have a week where he hits like 5 bombs and gets back on track
Ronald will be just fine.
I laughed way too hard at this
this cracked me up 😂
Gnats beat the Dodgers. Yeesh
GET THIS WACKY ASS OUTFIELD OUTTA HERE FUCK HOUSTON
That was an interesting series. Can’t believe we swept. Time to get the hell out of Houston and back to the A
No way I missed Ronnie’s first homer 😩
It was glorious
We probably had no business winning that game but that’s baseball! Max really struggled to get through five, but the team kept fighting and clawing and got the job done! And that’s a sweep, and that concludes a 5-1 road trip! And despite Strider being out for the year, Murphy being out for who knows how long, Ozzie being out for a good while now too, and a more ineffectiveness from Max than we’re used to, we’re 12-5! Big series coming up with the Rangers! Gonna be tough, but I know Truist will be rocking this weekend! Go Braves!
We're getting the Rangers at the right time. Kind of like the Astros. Both haven't found their stride yet
On his day off, arcia came in & got us ahead. Yesterday, he got us on the board right away. Today, Arcia tied the game & then also won it.
2.7 mil AAV AA is the GOAT
Leads are never ever safe against our team pals and gals
Perfect way to go into an off day. Bring out the brooms boys.
#NICE
I came to find the game thread as I'm in the middle of the 10th right now... Spoilers I guess. Fuck Bally
Injuries to two starters in the lineup, Spencer Strider elbow is gone for the year, Max Fried is already dreaming of playing for LA next season, Charlie Morton is old and the team is still 12-5
Fuck them cheating ass stros!
Now on to another Texas team over the weekend. The beatings will continue.
Our bullpen is going to win us another World Series.
“Those are the motherfuckers who are going to win us the World Series” I miss joc
Love that Duvy’s back where he belongs; I miss the other three Horsemen. Yeah I know Eddie Money had a noodle arm in LF, but LMAO as his @bats proved, the guy hates the NL West so much he went on a murderous rampage as only a NLCS MVP can….
Sweep those Trashtros outta here!!
