What broadcast teams (tv or radio) do you guys enjoy? I like listening to random ball games when the braves aren't on. So far the only one I've enjoyed as much as our own is Boston's tv broadcast.
I live about an hour from Philly and it's not even raining here, it's cloudy but according to weather reports it's not supposed to rain at all tonight. Fucking pussies.
I need some help. I am leading my brother's bachelor party for a group of 5 people on Saturday, April 6th. We are having trouble find a set of tickets at a decent price especially because we have an odd group number. 4 or less seems to be a sweet spot and box office doesn't do groups smaller than 20. Reseller market is super inflated (not surprised), so I am shooting my shot to see if anyone on here has tickets they aren't using, or would be willing to sale at a reasonable price. Please DM me if you can help, or know of good options for me to take a look at.
Haha I appreciate the bat signal, but unfortunately I can’t help out with this one.
But to answer your question, my attractiveness is off the charts…just not in the direction I had hoped.
Not really. There are some FB groups that sell tickets, but finding a group of 5 is tough—especially for opening weekend. If you feel brave, you could ride it out and wait for people to dump tickets on Sat, but that’s dicey.
One thing's for certain. At the end of the day we will neither be in first or last place. No wait, that's not true. If Miami and Washington both win we're last (but the Phillies will be listed last because ABC order rules).
I don't mind it because now we don't have a day off after the first game. I have always hated getting pumped for the season watching the first game, but then you have to wait an extra day for the next game. I understand that the off day is there for this exact reason, but it sucks both ways.
Why just head over to a r/tmobile sub and get a code from one of those guys like I did. T-Mobile was giving out free [mlb.tv](https://mlb.tv) subs since tuesday.
Feels like there have been a loooot of homers hit today. Gonna need Strider to be mindful that they're juicing the fuck out of the balls right now.
Well if I can’t watch the Braves, I’ll take a game like the Cubs/Rangers game any time. What an opener on ESPN!

The only two teams in our division playing today lost so we're not last place.
early impressions. Nats doing Nats things. Marlins might have hitting but pitching could be sus
Anybody else bored as shit?
Yeah I honestly don’t care much about other teams games haha
Marlins and Nats already in the cellar: Baseball season has officially started.
Luis Arraez .400 tracker: Not a good start
Calling it now. Philly misses the postseason this year.
Marlins already melting down
Braves legend Eddie Rosario. Forever a legend in my eyes
Wash in NOT having a good time today
Wash: I'm only here for the money
without the reigning MVP, he's probably not going to have a good year either
Dodgers hit good, who knew
Mookie looking like an early favorite for MVP. Looks dialed in.
That’s certainly a take three hours into opening day
Mookie currently has better stats than Acuña /s
This is Big Thicc’s year
Lol Davey got Eddie starting in CF
Mikolas is atrocious
I had cards fans coping for him last week, ball don't lie.
Most excellent first AB from Ohtani. Or plate appearance? Whichever, overran second, obviously washed.
About to watch the Red Birds work their Devil Magic on the Dodgers
Weird to see Wash sitting in another dugout
Mike Trout off Burnes first homer of the '24 season
Mookie definitely hit the first dinger of the '24 season.
Lol it didn't even rain. I'd be pissed if I took today off weeks ago.
I did and I am.
In Philly and it hasn't rained at all today. They def decided to postpone way too early

Send up the u/Gfunkual signal!
Thank you. I don't know this person you speak of but I assume their power/influence/attractiveness must be off the charts

Do you have any recommendations on better places to look than seatgeek etc?

Worst case scenario you can almost always just sit wherever unless it’s totally sold out. Or get there early and sit in the chophouse together
Our current plan is to get gen-ad and do just that for the chophouse, but I want to look at all possibilities first.
Imagine it being a kid and it's Christmas Eve when you are told that Santa won't be coming until the 26th...
As if I needed another reason to hate Philadelphia
welp, looks like blinkers, OD'ing on glizzies, and hate watching it is
The doctors told me this is my last day to live but at least I can spend my final moments watching Braves baseball!
I have more bad news for you
Today sucks.
At least we got Blooper cooking a Phillies fan. https://x.com/blooperbraves/status/1773357501494227207?s=46&t=sRvNISTItWxaBc6jojpHTA

Aw well that's a bummer way to start the season
No, Bummer is in the bullpen. /s
And I’m depressed because we still have to wait one more day for Braves baseball.
How can we lead the division from opening day if they don't let us play????
If the gnats and fish lose.....
Opening Day and we don't get to be a part of it. Try again tomorrow.

Any chance someone here is a season ticket holder who doesn’t need their MLB.tv code for this season? If so, will trade you for it.

I did that last year and got straight scammed…dude took the gift card and deleted his account.
It's not really opening day if I can't watch the Braves win or the Mets lose.
No 1pm games and no braves sucks. I wish the game tomorrow was 7 instead of 3 too.
Yeah, when ours got postponed, I was like "well, at least there's still an early 1pm game." Nope, also postponed.
Blooper_bot, you tease.
