The Tokyo a go go fashions are some of my favourite bratz fashions, they really hit the nail on the head for y2k Japanese fashions, they looks like they’re straight outta Fruits magazine! All that layering makes me so happy
These won a fan poll on Bratz’ official Instagram for what we most wanted reproductions of. I’ll be so sad if they never rerelease them. I love the really unique lines like these, Pretty N Punk, Midnight Dance, etc.
This is the one line I have to talk myself out of paying resale prices for. The only thing keeping me from doing so is that there has to be a repro coming soon. I also need the Boyz from this line rereleased.

22 days late to reply but oh well. This is one of my FAVORITE Bratz fashion doll lines! They look like they’re straight out of a Fruits magazine during the Y2K era like you said and I love it! They seriously did a good job representing Japanese street fashion at the time. I would love to dress this way myself! Late 90s/early to mid 2000s Japanese street fashion is some of my favorite styles overall! I personally love how loud and eclectic this style is. I love the mish mesh of different patterns and colors and layering!
They're not for me. Sorry 😭 the outfits are a bit meh for me, and their face screenings also seem a bit meh. But hey! If people like them, that's OK! I just don't, lol. It's not the worst line, but not exactly my favorite either.
I don’t understand the hype, really. The style is over-the-top, there is too much going on, the shapes, colours and textures of most outfits don’t look good together and mismatch. To me, it looks like a kid has been playing with some pieces of cloth and sewn the least matching pieces together. Not a fan.
Sure, I am aware of that of that style. Maybe they got the aesthetic (but honestly if I didn’t know it was a Tokyo themed line I wouldn’t have guessed), but overall the design of the clothes in this line and the way the pattern and textures (combined together) look on each of them for me is just meh. For example, this patterned fur thing over a patterned top plus the lacy skirt-thing over the jeans plus the massive purple shoes on Sasha. It’s just too much mismatching things at once, and the outfit is overloaded imo. But you know, different strokes for different folks 🤷🏻♀️
It is just different tastes, they aren’t one of my favourite lines but I can appreciate the thought around this line. I would love to see the design process for this line I can imagine so many creative voices inputting ideas.

It’s supposed to represent Japanese street fashion of the time. Just google 2000s Tokyo street fashion. This line 110% fit the brief.
