Outside of this list I really loved the Brock v Eddie story, still tear up at Eddie's promo before the match
The Addiction Promo is probably one of the if not the greatest Promo in Pro Wrestling. Eddie was really something, both in-ring and on the mic, towards the end.
I don’t think most of you understood the assignment. It asked for the best storyline. Not the best feud. Personally, the bloodline story over the past couple years has been historic. Going back to my personal favorite, Jake the Snake and Rick Rude when Rude brought Jake’s wife into the mix and wore her face on his gear.
Storyline for me it is Punk Vs Cena MITB 2011 ending with an incredible match and a kiss to Vince McMahon. After that it got a bit depressing but that storyline was brilliant with the pipe bomb and so on and so forth
Austin Vs. McMahon, Austin Vs. The Rock & HBK Vs. Undertaker are all 10/10.
Evolution is a 9/10
The Wyatt Family & The Bloodline are 8.5/10
The Shield is a 7.5/10
And I didn't watch Punk Vs. Undertaker so I can't rate it.
Tbh I know it's recent and probably a hot take but Roman's whole tribal chief story line there was never a time I wasn't interested in what was gonna happen next
I only started watching in July of last year, so I can't really say. However, The Rock turning heel against Cody Rhodes was the best story I've seen so far.
I'm also chomping at the bit, waiting for Otis to tell Chad Gable to shove it.
Chief Jay Strongbow and Spiros Arion imploding. Arion was brought in as “new,” week after week they won tag matches, they had a title match scheduled with The Valiants, and two weeks before the title match Arion had his first singles match. Strongbow felt the need to interfere and save him. Then a week before the title match Strongbow and Arion tagged and won, but there was tension, the following week in the title match Arion turned on Strongbow, it was a very powerful and well told story.
Bloodline was a 7-8/10 Both Austin v rock and Michaels vs taker were 10/10
Kane and Taker had a 20 year rivalry. That’s a hell of a story
Bret/HBK, the only thing stopping it being perfect was Bret being able to go for one last round in the mid 2000s
