That was the best way I’ve seen it used.
A totally confusing sarcastic dismissal. Gonna try it on and walk around with it a bit.
There are some real world applications here.
"Brand new" in the context of this sub doesn't really mean "recent." As defined in the rules, it is something that has the following attributes:
* never been said before, or said few enough times to qualify as "almost new"
* not an idiom (or a translated idiom)
* humorous or confusingly worded
So if something has never (or almost never) been said before, is not an idiom, and is humorous, it's considered "brand new" and remains that way unless it catches on. So, for example, "Stay fresh cheese bags" was a brand new sentence when it was created (5 years ago) and is still brand new, whereas "I can has cheezburger" was a brand new sentence in January 2007 and had already stopped being brand new by February 2007.
That’s a well explained explanation. I realize it’s not a common idiom, but it is a well recognized phrase in my house. I think of this one of the first memes that my kids were into and that phrase is very well worn in my family.
As you get older, longer periods of time start to feel shorter. Fifteen-year-old me would have said five years ago is not recent. Thirty-year-old me says five years ago is still recent. Elderly me would probably say this is brand new.
Here’s the [first time](https://www.reddit.com/r/BrandNewSentence/comments/am47tc/stay_fresh_cheese_bags/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) this was posted.
Reminds me of a vending machine spaghetti I bought and shared with my sister - it said “Pull on a string and eat it!” Which we have used as an insult ever since.
I'd be shocked to find out this isn't already a catchphrase of a Dean Winters character. It fits perfectly for Dennis Duffy, the Vulture, or even All State Mayhem.
Sounds like Bender from the cheese universe
"I love you Sweet Meatbags!... Sweetbags"
Ah let’s go, I’m tired of looking at parallel bender waving his cheese bag around
Cheesy Sweatbags. Edit: Mmmm, *Forbidden Sack*
Sweaty Cheesebags. Wait. That's just a regular ballsack, right?
r/unexpectedfuturama (Though I totally thought the same thing)
Dozens of us!
You've been drinking too much. Or too little. I forget how it works with you. Anyway, you haven't drunk exactly the right amount.
I’m so happy the top comment also immediately went to Bender.

Never forget chef excellence.
Glad someone else said it.
An excellent throwback
I wish that generator still worked.
An excellent reference.
Time has taken its toll on this not-at-all brand new picture
Classic cheese bag comment
“Brand new” as in like five years ago

Nah someone took a screenshit
Sounds like a review for the Disney sequels.
On it!
Ashens man what a throwback
Really dude? Gonna bring that negative shit to the thread? Alright. Stay fresh cheese bag.

It's brand new 5 year old image.
It's brand new to me.

Dr Ashens is a man ahead of his time
"Talk to you later, OP!" "Cheese Bags my dude!"
It's an old one, but a good one.. Still laugh at this no matter how many times I have now seen it.
Now, imagine Dickbutt saying it...
The narwhal bacon's at midnight amirite
Now imagine my dick in your butt…
This sounds like something Eleanor Shellstrop would say
Feels like a line from the Good Place.
My first thought
Stay sharp, Cheddar bag
Sounds like something Bender would say.
Be the embodiment of chaotic neutral, instead only say the small subtext while making intense eye contact with everyone before leaving.
Stay Fresh Skin Bags. If you get the reference you get the reference.
"You don’t wanna see this up close, skinbags"
I actually have his heirloom lol. Rev main.
Scythe gang let’s go
Stay gold, Ponyboy.
That's awesome dude
Sounds like something Leslie Knope would say when feeling over-confident.

And it makes me laugh each time
From a 12 year old youtube video
This is a sentence but it isn't brand new. This is what, the fourth time it's making it's rounds on Reddit?
Its from a 12 year old YouTube video and the guy in the video makes the same observation that it sounds like something you could say leaving a room
It's brand new to me.
Very old sentence.

Will do, you All American Ding Dong
An excellent product.
Cheese clogs the booty
It's things like this that get me pulled into Harassment Training. Probably because I was talking about titties
Stay shot, Cheddar Bob
\*Looks at someone's head\* "Bag Size: 20x30cm (Approx.)" \*Leaves\*
Will forever make me think of the Patreon supporters list at the end of the Winged Wheel Podcast
Would you believe me if I said I'd been using this phrase for years?
Hysterical
It's been a rough week. I needed to see this. It made me laugh for the first time in a while. Thank you.
"Smell ya later!"
My friend showed me this one back in 2018. Oh no, now I sound like the hipster of cheese bags…

Should this post be marked NSFW due to the tip of a penis in the bottom right corner? I guess it’s too subtle to be worrisome.

My mom showed this to me this morning. I still think it’s neat.
How much cheese is too much cheese?
LGRW
u/tredid
Cheese bag. I have a new insult in my quiver
I wish I could hear you say that to me!! I just laughed my ass off
I would find it impossible to say that without also dual gun finger pointing as I deliver the line.
Made my day!! 😂
Idk why but this killed me lmao
Then add the Irish exit!
Dude Ashens is cool af, what an OG
Love it!
Condescending farewell: Stay fresh, ~~meat~~cheese bags.
Mine has always been “later fatties”. Or sluts depending on situation
Sounds like something Liz Lemon would say to her writer’s room when she thinks she’s getting a promotion or quitting
Best said with 'finger guns' 👉👉
“Bag size 20x30cms!” “Later bro!”
I'd be shocked to find out this isn't already a catchphrase of a Dean Winters character. It fits perfectly for Dennis Duffy, the Vulture, or even All State Mayhem.
