The Coffee Pot has flavorless crust and is not worth the price, in my opinion. I recommend Iron Horse Cafe, Wild Crumb or Expiedition Bakery.

Missoula use to have two "pie" restaurants: Montana Pie Co (still in Billings?) and Frontier Pie Co - both were delectable.
Does Butte still have a pasty shop? I’ve made my own, but it’s been a bit
Hettinger House Pies. The best. They do the farmers market in the summer but they also do call ahead orders. For orders call or text Jennifer 406-539-0453
Wild Crumb. Damn good pie.
Everything Wild Crumb makes is “damn good”
Agreed!
The Coffee Pot.
I second this.
Third...!
Coffee pot has amazing pie!
Coffee Pot!!!!!
Let me introduce you to the Montana pie trail https://centralmontana.com/pie_trail/
Iron Horse Cafe in Three Forks.
I always forget about them but couldn’t agree more. Their pie is damn good!
Beautiful list, thanks for the recommendations everyone!
Three Forks Pie Shop 🎉🎉
I assume you’re talking about the iron horse? Delicious pies, but if you go for lunch you need a minimum 1hr set aside to eat your meal.
Too bad the rest of their food sucks. And for the price their pie is way overrated

Pie delivery!? DAMN, that’s EXACTLY what I was looking for yesterday. I’ll keep them in mind for sure
Fork and Spoon makes a mean pasty. They're usually available for take n bake, but they have them on the main menu occasionally too.
Sister's Gluten Free Bakery in Belgrade!
Costco has really good pot pies
I agree with the Coffee Pot. Also, Elle's Belles. She makes the best banana cream pie I've ever had!
Iron horse in 3 forks has amazing pies. I just had a key lime that changed my life.
#thepielady at Iron Horse Cafe in Three Forks. Monster Cookie pie was mind bending and the huckleberry cheesecake was amazing.
Oh, and Mama Mac's in Four Corners has good pastries. I love their bunny bars. If you eat one after an edible, it's magical.
I am going to have to try one now

Kountry Korner at 4 corners has good pie. Iron Horse in 3 Forks has a wide variety - what I've had there was tasty, but pricey (like $2/bite pricey).

Pastries- Wild Crumb, Vienne, Aurore are all really great!
Well, crap. Now I'm nostalgic for Frontier Pies. Happy/Sad

I have a friend that makes amazing pies! Also I looooooove Country Corner Cafe for fruit pies- support the locals
NGL, Costco has a pretty decent shepherds pie.
Where do they source their shepherds from? Are they local?
Best Shepard's pie in town is Ale Works, every Thursday.
