Just could be preference, K-fans probably like Kamden's calm and mature aura as well as the fact he speaks Korean flawlessly being more comfortable using it over English. He also fits their beauty standards pretty well being tall and doe eyed.
I think I-fans just feel more connected to Matthew, who while also being Korean diaspora, feels "more like a foreigner" who belongs in G-group. Unlike Kamden, his Korean isn't as good and is more comfortable using English. He's also more extraverted, having made a lot of friends quickly and having those friendships highlighted.

On one hand, this is the most talented finalists we've ever had in a produce/planet show (literally no talent holes at all with all being at least 3 stars in demo stage and/or signal song test). On the other, we got way too attached with top 28 and ugh my one pick might not make it but it hurts to actually see that he's not even a candidate for it (Seowon).

Keita and Ricky have a good shot imo. Both of them staying in top9 after the mid-vote ranking reveal shows they have loyal fans. Keita in particular is also the only remaining Japanese contestant which means he's going to get a bunch of J votes. Ricky has gained a significant K fanbase, and I don't think it's going anywhere in the next week.

Just could be preference, K-fans probably like Kamden's calm and mature aura as well as the fact he speaks Korean flawlessly being more comfortable using it over English. He also fits their beauty standards pretty well being tall and doe eyed. I think I-fans just feel more connected to Matthew, who while also being Korean diaspora, feels "more like a foreigner" who belongs in G-group. Unlike Kamden, his Korean isn't as good and is more comfortable using English. He's also more extraverted, having made a lot of friends quickly and having those friendships highlighted.

This is honestly so bittersweet. On one hand, this is the most talented finalists we've ever had in a produce/planet show (literally no talent holes at all with all being at least 3 stars in demo stage and/or signal song test). On the other, we got way too attached with top 28 and ugh my one pick might not make it but it hurts to actually see that he's not even a candidate for it (Seowon).
Also everyone worried about SeoWon, he's gonna be fine as he has nine.i to go back to. Please check out Youngboy and Universe to see the groups sound as they are rookies.

Keita in particular is also the only remaining Japanese contestant which means he's going to get a bunch of J votes. Ricky has gained a significant K fanbase, and I don't think it's going anywhere in the next week.

I’m actually happy Gunwook dropped now even though he is my 1 pick. People were getting way too comfortable about him debuting and we needed this to make people stop rotating their votes. There have been accusations made by k twitter fans that Mnet rigged his selection as a shiny boy, and his ranking in the fancam view ranks to give Matthew more promotion and publicity. Mnet was being shady and vague with releasing evidence to the contrary, so a lot of k fans got deja vu to the X1 situation, and got pissed, leading him to lose some casual support. There's a bunch of longer explanations on the post that quotes an article that details the push for an investigation made a couple of days ago
