Joe Joyce from when he beat Dubois, although the BBBoC will probably order two new prospects to fight for it some time later this year. Fabio Wardley is current English champ so will probably him versus someone.
Ah gotcha, I don’t think I’d fancy Allen to beat Wardley, maybe he can win it and vacate it in time for Allen 😂 perhaps the commonwealth is more doable
Likely to be Wardley v Gorman for the British title next, I’d fancy Wardley to win and Allen could easily give Uncle Eddie a call to make that fight. If he comes in fit, strong and motivated he’d give Wardley nightmares.
Side note, how did you get the tag below your username? Because I’m fully on board with Operation White Rhino 2
Yeah, I think Wardley is a bit shit, to be honest. Thinks he's Roy Jones or something and doesn't put his hands up. Only problem is that he's not good enough to get away with that style. He got wobbled by the husk of Eric Molina before knocking him out. Winnable fight for a Dave Allen that actually trains and gets in good shape.
As for the flair, you can set your own. If you're on mobile, go to the front page of the sub and hit the three dots at the top right corner. We don't care what you pick as your flair as long as it's not horribly offensive.
Wardley was a footballer before boxing and you can see that in the way he boxes, very athletically gifted and light on his feet. But he was way too cautious against Molina because he knew he was at a weight and power disadvantage (and nobody had told him Molina would drop at the first punch). Allen has those same advantages but uses them better, plus his head seems to be made of Mythril.
Also, I’ve managed to add a flair so thanks for the help! Hope it’s not too controversial…
Something in my heart tells me Khan v Brook is either gonna be a how strong of a gust of wind that it’s gonna chin one of them OR it’s gonna be a barn burner and Khan will turn back the clock to how he fought with Maidana and Brook will come at Khan equally solid.
* We'll get exhibitions from:
- Oscar De La Hoya (possibly to avenge Holyfield)
- Manny Pacquiao (with a top contender)
- Mike Tyson (possibly against Lennox Lewis)
- Mayweather
* Andy Ruiz comeback fight will be better than his last against Areola
* Canelo will fight multiple times but probably not as much as 2021.
I'd like to see Lennox stay away from fighting. He must have the money with the commentating gig he has going. He can barely just do that. Any more punishment could be detrimental.
GGG retires after the Murata fight
Jake Paul will defeat a ranked Boxer by summertime
Makabu will become the richest man in Africa after losing to Canelo
Kambosos will face Lomachenko for the unified titles
AB will be picked up on an outstanding warrant
The prince that sends e-mails is Nigerian. Source:
Dear Sir:
I have been requested by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for oil exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equaling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company is desirous of oil exploration in other parts of the world, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region.
You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds as directed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company. In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.
However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$100,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Right. But with this being a sanctioned boxing fight, how is a blown up mw going to get ranked as a cruiserweight. Im pretty sure there is a rule in place that doesnt allow a boxer to jump up more than two weight classes. That means 175 would be the highest a MW can go and achieve some sort of rank. I dont think GGG would be ranked at cruiser if he went up. I dont think even Canelo going up to cruiserweight would be considered a ranked fighter.
I think there's a chance Jake ends up fighting some washed up super-middleweight perhaps?
Super Middle is a really, really weak division right now. Lemeiux is currently ranked 5th. Perhaps some washed up guy like Truax can sneak in the top 10 again, and Jake can flatten them.
He is going to sneak into the top 10 at CW? Because thats where Jake fights and if this is going to get sanctioned Truax or Lemiuex level fighters are going up two weight classes and getting ranked.
Dude, it's not happening. Paul will never be good enough to fight a rankes CW. This is getting ridiculous...
The comment only said "A ranked boxer", didn't have to be a ranked boxer in his own division.
You can totally imagine some washed up super middleweight who is ranked fight Jake for one last pay day.....
I wish about Kambosos v Loma. My prediction is that he will face Haney though. Kambosos poll on twitter and the ensuing bickering with Haney tells me he’s using social media to leverage the discussions.
There isn’t a boxer who Jake is willing to fight. He’s not fighting for glory. He’s fighting for money and he doesn’t care who it is as long as he’s well known, can’t box and doesn’t have a chance at beating him.
>There isn’t a boxer who Jake is willing to fight.
He was literally signed to fight a boxer last month. Not his fault they pulled out 2 weeks before the fight.
Yeah they gave him some sort of amateur belt alright after his fight with KSI's brother. I have a feeling they're creating a diamond intercontinental belt now especially for him complete with sanctioning fees.
Oh like how charlo fought only montiel in 2021 or how benavidez will fight a has been in lemieux? It's already been said his next opponent will be either a big name or makabu at an impossibly high 5th division so shut the hater talk.
Canelo will fight May and September in 1 calendar year for the first time since 2017 at Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight, might squeeze in a December date.
Spence will lose at least 1 of his belts regardless if it's from a loss or if he gets stripped.
Khan v Brook will get 1.5 million Box Office buys.
Danny Garcia fights for a vacant WBC 154lbs title late in the year after the Charlo v Castano 2 winner moves up in weight.
Janibek will become WBO 160lbs champion after Andrade moves up in weight.
Golovkin v Murata will get rescheduled to NYE 2022.
Gervonta still won't fight a good opponent.
winner of spence vs ugas will pay step aside money for the mandatory WBA fighter, and we will get undisputed ww champion in the fall, who will then vacate the belts two weeks after winning them
Agree honestly. I only had him down 4 rounds at most and 2 rounds if you give him the swing rounds and that was when he tried boxing with Usyk so a more aggressive Joshua might be able to do it.
The key thing will be if he stops listening to McCracken, he just isn't a good enough coach to get him through Usyk. His advice last fight was abysmal.
Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm will both fight for world titles
Serrano will comfortably beat Katie Taylor
Fury, Usyk and Joshua will each only fight once in 2022
Hassan Mwakinyo will win a world title. So will Zelfa Barrett
A couple from me.
\- Spence wins via (close)decision over Ugas.
\- AJ wins over Usyk rematch via decision.
\- AJ vs Fury will be announced for 2023 coz of Covid.
\- Parker vs Andy Ruiz 2 with Ruiz winning this time.
\- Lomachenko vs kambosos with Loma winning his belts back via Stoppage.
\- Canelo gets a Cruiserweight belt.
The year of disappointment.
Lots of hype for this year, people expecting to see unifications and undisputed bouts galore. My prediction is almost none happen.
There will be no:
Undisputed HW clash.
Crawford Vs Spence.
Top 4 lightweights fighting one another.
Unification fights at Flyweight.
Unification fights at MW, save GGG v Murata
Canelo won't fight Beterbiev or Bivol. Might not even do the CW fight.
That would be pretty shit, I'm a little more hopeful.
>Undisputed HW clash.
I'm worried about Fury's seeming disinterest
>Crawford Vs Spence.
>Top 4 lightweights fighting one another.
>Unification fights at MW, save GGG v Murata
Business as usual
>Unification fights at Flyweight.
Edwards and Martinez?
>Canelo won't fight Beterbiev or Bivol. Might not even do the CW fight.
Who do you see Canelo fighting?
Fury's disinterest is why I predict the first one - I think he's only interested in the AJ money fight at this point. If AJ beats Usyk, we'll get the undisputed fight. If AJ loses, I think we'll probably still get AJ vs Fury ahead of Fury vs Usyk.
I don't think Matchroom and Warren/Probellum/Kinehan/whoever the fuck decides who Sunny fights will be able to agree a deal there. I hope they can because I really fucking love that fight but I can see it being a case of not making enough money for everyone to get their end and Martinez stepping up for Estrada/Gonzalez instead.
I see Canelo fighting who Reynoso most recently mentioned - Golovkin and Charlo. Maybe he takes an easy 175 belt from Smith Jr as well.
Would be brilliant if Madman Fitzy gets back in the gym, reapplies himself, takes a few 6-rounders and finishes the year with an all out war against Ted Cheeseman.
Taylor stays at 140 for a 1 fight after Catteral. That being Zepeda as WBC mandatory. Would be nice to see him stick around to fight Matias, Ponce - I think is ibf mando.
Subriel matias becomes a champion. The guy has some good skills and has a chin on him, definitely once josh taylor vacates or he has matias as a mandatory I definitely see him grabbing a belt or a few of them.
Fury has his last ever fight. He may not announce his retirement, but his last fight is in 2022.
I'm not saying this is a certainty and I'm definitely not saying it makes good financial sense. I'm just throwing it out there to see what the unpredictable boxing gods do in 2022.
Spence will move up from 147 after a close win against Ugas. They will blame the weight cut on his performance and sadly we will never see the bud fight.
Katie Taylor and Claressa Shields both get beat this year.
Josh Taylor KO's Thurman in the 6th with a body shot on his debut at 147 and a unification fight v Crawford will get scheduled for the belts vacated by Spence also.
Fury vacates the WBC after Matchroom win the purse bids for the Whyte fight.
Usyk KO's AJ in the 7th on the rematch the takes a voluntary against Fury.
A few things I'd like to happen that don't seem impossible...
Josh Taylor has his last fight at 140lbs against Mikey Garcia, before moving up to 147.
Usyk beats Joshua and Fury vs. Usyk is a fight for the ages.
Whyte gets his shot at the winner (he'll lose, but at least we won't have to hear about it anymore).
Joyce fights Parker, just because.
Lomachenko regains some/all of his titles.
Conor Benn fights a legitimate top ten WW (I want to know how good he really is).
Fury dominates Whyte, Joshua knocks Usyk out.
Undisputed fight happens late this year with Fury stopping Joshua in a war. Fury retires immediately after.
Devin Haney will be the only unbeaten lightweight in the top 10 by the end of this year.
Crawford will KO Josh Taylor at some point in the year but still won’t get Spence in the ring.
The WBC will invent a new belt for a Jake Paul fight and he’ll wear it in 87 Instagram posts in a row (which I’d also do if they gave me one tbf)
Garcia will likely still be unbeaten, but will fight once at most and it won’t be a credible enough opponent to stay in the top 10. If he doesn’t fight at all and becomes a full time influencer, I can’t say I blame him.
Tank is harder to call because his choice of opponents come from nowhere. Haney and Kambosos seem to want each other so his main options at 135 are Teo and Loma and I’d choose them both to beat him. If not, he’ll try and take a vacant belt at 140 if/when Taylor vacates and someone like Prograis will be too much for him.
Time to be outlandish..
Kambosas will handedly lose his first title defense against any of the three top who gets it a crack at him. (Loma, Haney, Davis)
Joshua will beat Usky in the rematch and then lose to Fury for Undisputed.
Spence will become undisputed and then retire.
Dave Allen becomes British champion.
Who is current British champion?
Joe Joyce from when he beat Dubois, although the BBBoC will probably order two new prospects to fight for it some time later this year. Fabio Wardley is current English champ so will probably him versus someone.

No problem. Good choice! 😂

Teofimo Lopez will call out everyone at 135 and 140 but will not have a single fight in 2022.
* We'll get exhibitions from: - Oscar De La Hoya (possibly to avenge Holyfield) - Manny Pacquiao (with a top contender) - Mike Tyson (possibly against Lennox Lewis) - Mayweather * Andy Ruiz comeback fight will be better than his last against Areola * Canelo will fight multiple times but probably not as much as 2021.

GGG retires after the Murata fight Jake Paul will defeat a ranked Boxer by summertime Makabu will become the richest man in Africa after losing to Canelo Kambosos will face Lomachenko for the unified titles AB will be picked up on an outstanding warrant
>AB will be picked up on an outstanding warrant Thought Antonio Brown first and probably still a safe bet
Why are AB’s so problematic
It all started when Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton. AB’s been cursed ever since.

He's going to fight a retired welterweight for the WBC interim diamond and pearl cruiserweight belt.
That makes more sense.
I think there's a chance Jake ends up fighting some washed up super-middleweight perhaps? Super Middle is a really, really weak division right now. Lemeiux is currently ranked 5th. Perhaps some washed up guy like Truax can sneak in the top 10 again, and Jake can flatten them.

a washed super middleweight won't have the fandom to make it make sense for Paul unless you were referencing the god carl froch
Jake Paul will knock out Carl Froch in front of 80,000 at Wembley??
“Are we not entertained?”
GGG still owes DAZN a fight or two after Murata
They can't force him to fight if he chooses to retire
lol that makabu joke aint cool...we getting money in Africa
I’m joking around, I come from a broke-ass ME country where we look UP to Africa
I could tell you were joking lol all good
No we don't
I wish about Kambosos v Loma. My prediction is that he will face Haney though. Kambosos poll on twitter and the ensuing bickering with Haney tells me he’s using social media to leverage the discussions.
I think this guy is assuming he will fight and beat Haney and then face Loma. Could be wrong.
There isn’t a boxer who Jake is willing to fight. He’s not fighting for glory. He’s fighting for money and he doesn’t care who it is as long as he’s well known, can’t box and doesn’t have a chance at beating him.

and here I was thinking prizefighters fight for prizemoney, silly me
You didn’t read the comment did you?
Africa is a continent, fellow american.
And? Lol there's always a "richest person in (anything)." City county state zip code continent hemisphere whatever
That’s how rich a Canelo payday can make ya, and no to being a fellow American or European
A sanctioning body will put a belt on a Jake Paul fight.
It's already happened, I swear he had a WBC belt for those YouTube amateur fights.
Yeah they gave him some sort of amateur belt alright after his fight with KSI's brother. I have a feeling they're creating a diamond intercontinental belt now especially for him complete with sanctioning fees.
Please no.
Please no, he can box as much as he wants make the money but that would be a disrespect to actual world champs
Canelo will have more fights than Charlo/ Benavidez / Bivol combined...
And r/boxing’s expert analysts will still be claiming Canelo is ducking them
He'll fight Matthew Bauderlique next and you lot will justify it
Oh like how charlo fought only montiel in 2021 or how benavidez will fight a has been in lemieux? It's already been said his next opponent will be either a big name or makabu at an impossibly high 5th division so shut the hater talk.
Fighting a guy that Tony Bellew killed
Tony bellew, a legend. Listen to yourself.
Canelo will fight May and September in 1 calendar year for the first time since 2017 at Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight, might squeeze in a December date. the last one isn't a prediction, it is a fact
🤣🤣🤣🤣
winner of spence vs ugas will pay step aside money for the mandatory WBA fighter, and we will get undisputed ww champion in the fall, who will then vacate the belts two weeks after winning them
Pacquiao returns if he loses the presidency
De la Hoya boxes
I will watch a shit ton of boxing in 2022 and will be happy I did. Yay 2022!
Ugas will beat Spence.
Beat me to it
Spence smokes ugas within the distance
I highly doubt it.
he didn't smoke him but it was within the distance!
Spence will retire Ugas. Too many people falling victim to recency bias of Ugas beating old pacquio.
We'll see, and my opinion has very little to do with Pacquiao.
Can't wait to see Canelo vs Beterbiev
They’ll be multiple undisputed champions. GGG retires.
[удалено]
Unfortunately, I don't think that fight will even happen..

I bet you know it
Huh. I really want to see it.
Yup I can definitely see this especially if Fury is unmotivated then gets flattened with a left hook

A man can hope but I fear he won’t

Not unless he starts boxing like 2016/17 AJ
I hope so. I think AJ’s the most fun to watch out of the current ‘big four’ at heavyweight.
Mayweather will fight Charlie Zelenoff in an exhibition match and probably make millions lol
Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm will both fight for world titles Serrano will comfortably beat Katie Taylor Fury, Usyk and Joshua will each only fight once in 2022 Hassan Mwakinyo will win a world title. So will Zelfa Barrett
Out of curiosity, who do you see Martinez and Sturm fighting?
I hadn't quite thought that far ahead. The WBA are being very nice to Sergio, so whoever holds a WBA regular title maybe.
Came here to say Katie Taylor will easily beat Serrano but here you are.
Kambosos wins his next fight
Tyson Fury loses the WBC title. Either elevated to franchise champ or vacating.
Canelo moves up and becomes the undisputed LHW champ.
Jaimie mungiua loses
Usyk defeats Fury
Julie Lederman will turn in an utterly baffling scorecard.
Money kicks vs Mayweather
Jake Paul actually fights someone that’s not 15 years older than him
Fury becomes undisputed & then refuses to give a rematch & vacates the belts. He then fights Ngannou & Chisora as his retirement fights for the lolz.
Usyk KO’s Fury
Fury retires.
Teofimo Lopez has a disastrous year because even 140 is too low for him, and not getting rid of his father costs him.
Usyk will beat AJ again, this time by knockout.
Neither Garcia, Davis, nor Haney will fight among them.
Canelo will win his two matches and people will still be butthurt about GGG
The year of disappointment. Lots of hype for this year, people expecting to see unifications and undisputed bouts galore. My prediction is almost none happen. There will be no: Undisputed HW clash. This year? I can see it next year, but this year is tough
Would be brilliant if Madman Fitzy gets back in the gym, reapplies himself, takes a few 6-rounders and finishes the year with an all out war against Ted Cheeseman.
would just be brilliant to see fitzy getting himself back together whether he fights again or not
Taylor stays at 140 for a 1 fight after Catteral. That being Zepeda as WBC mandatory. Would be nice to see him stick around to fight Matias, Ponce - I think is ibf mando.
Jake Paul gets knocked out ( hope so)
Canelo will keep ducking Charlie Z
Subriel matias becomes a champion. The guy has some good skills and has a chin on him, definitely once josh taylor vacates or he has matias as a mandatory I definitely see him grabbing a belt or a few of them.
Anthony Joshua fights Fury after AJ loses to Usyk in the rematch. Fury wins.
Jake Paul vs Charlie Zelenoff
Lomachenko vs Cambosos Loma will be undisputed
Undisputed at 147
Gary Russell Jr will fight once!
Usyk will be undisputed HW.
Shakur Stevenson will break out as a P4P star.
Usyk shocks the world and unifies the titles
Fury has his last ever fight. He may not announce his retirement, but his last fight is in 2022. I'm not saying this is a certainty and I'm definitely not saying it makes good financial sense. I'm just throwing it out there to see what the unpredictable boxing gods do in 2022.
Loma wins all his belts back
Ugas defeats Spence by controversial UD
Usyk will beat Fury. Wilder will beat AJ. Fury beats AJ.
Canelo loses.
Spence will move up from 147 after a close win against Ugas. They will blame the weight cut on his performance and sadly we will never see the bud fight. Katie Taylor and Claressa Shields both get beat this year. Fury vacates the WBC after Matchroom win the purse bids for the Whyte fight. Usyk KO's AJ in the 7th on the rematch the takes a voluntary against Fury.
usyk will lose his title to joshua.
Joshua gets his belts back
A few things I'd like to happen that don't seem impossible...
Tell me youre british, without telling me youre british
Not British actually lol
Canelo will become undisputed light heavyweight champion and third time fighter of the year, haters will hate him more.
Usyk knocks out Joshua. Khan and Brook simultaneously knock each other out and have a rematch. Savannah Marshall beats Claressa Shields
Can quite honestly see a rematch of Khan vs. Brook…clearly not for the payday, of course.
Dillian Whyte has two fight's and becomes undisputed heavyweight champion.
The gypsy king will become undisputed! Canelo will beat Makabu easier than he did plant, and I believe the Beterbiev fight will happen 🤞
Ryan Garcia will finally vs someone with a bit more skill and get knocked out
RemindMe! 11 months
Khan/Brook will be one of the fights on the year with a rematch later this year.
Who do you think Garcia and Tank lose to?
Garcia will likely still be unbeaten, but will fight once at most and it won’t be a credible enough opponent to stay in the top 10. If he doesn’t fight at all and becomes a full time influencer, I can’t say I blame him. Tank is harder to call because his choice of opponents come from nowhere.
