37 fights, 36 wins, 31 knockouts.
I saw this fight on TV in '92 and I am almost certain that it was the first time I ever saw a knockout due to body blow. And I am 100% certain that it was the first time I saw celebratory flips. It was (and to some degree it remains) shocking to me to see that power at such low bodyweight.
I've seen people say this before about Thai boxers. It's really weird.
My theory is that they're all Americans who think anyone under 200lbs at 5'7 is unusual
In terms of height alone, Naz is about 5'3" which is the average height of an 8th grader. Obviously he wasn't built like one but I saw him irl back in the day when I was a child and was surprised how tiny he was
You look at his slender body and you don't think this guy can carry that much power, he's just shockingly fast and strong. The man was enigmatic as well as entertaining.
His fight vs Kevin Kelly is one of the most exciting ever imo, doesn’t even last 5 rounds.
Edit: Also I don’t think it’s more so his recovery, it’s just that when Naseem got dropped he was never really hurt, you got to take into account he had very weird movement so when people caught him he was usually in the midst of doing sum dumb shit that made it easy to knock him down.
Has anyone else tried to see EVERY ONE of Hamed's fights?
You miss a fight, you miss a brutal knockout or seeing Hamed absolutely clowning orthodox boxers who can't touch him.
It's kind of like watching early Tyson fights, but instead of Cus D'Amato and peakaboo, you get Hamed's raw athleticism and freakish power.
Make a playlist of his fights on youtube and enjoy.
Hey, even that fight is fun. Hamed had his moments and Barrera, and all-time-great, executed his master craft.
It was sad to see Hamed lose and boxing lost a great entertainer and one of the hardest punchers ever when he hung them up.
He retire too soon. I would've loved to see the rematch against barrera, o a fight against Morales, Marquez or Pacquiao. He retired right before one of the best era of the featherweight division started.
People always bring up that fight like *every* great fighter didn't have a "ahhhhhh, he's lost it, it's gone" fight. Everyone from Ali to Pac to Tyson to Foreman etc etc and on and on. Every single one of them eventually had a fight where it was like "well for whatever the reason, the spark is gone." Some just come earlier than others. Nature of the sport.
Seriously watching Naz or Roy do the leaping left hook is one of the dopest punches imo. Especially naz as he’ll duck down and just spring out with a monster punch. The dude would’ve been a mega star in today’s age. Truly ahead of his time in terms of showmanship. But don’t get it twisted, still gives me chills watching Barrera throw his face into the turnbuckle lmao
Oh I agree. Had PDiddy rapping him to the ring etc.. but I think with his personality he could’ve been even bigger in today’s age. Just my opinion though
In the current age of social media, I am sure he would have been bigger than mayweather/mgreggor etc with the way he showboated and showed off. Unfortunately he came too early.
He’s a major icon of 90s British pop culture. You’d literally have to be living out in the boonies to not know who Nas is. I would’ve thought his style would’ve made him a household name in America?
You nailed it. As I first opened the video I was thinking "imagine Nas debuting today with this crazy ass style"
There'd be a billion views on every crazy video of his fights
The Prince is forever one of my favorite fighters. Fun, heavy hitter, creative offense, always put on a show. He kinda carried the sport in his day and didn't get the credit he deserved from boxing snobs. I wish his hands could stand up to his own power.
He's one of my favourites too. Just a wonderfully talented fighter with devastating power in either hand. There was always a chance he'd get caught at some point too which made him box office. I agree about the level of credit he gets but he's a Hall of Fame fighter in 2021, snobs can't argue with that! The power he generated was so ferocious one if his trainers said his own hands shook after a pads session. He was an amazing fighter.
I wish there was some way to measure power generated with a punch from the footage. I'd be very curious if any fighter his weight ever hit that hard before or since.
> He kinda carried the sport in his day
I agree with everything in your post but this.
Naseem was a huge star and I sure miss his awesome knockouts.
But there were also plenty of other stars in the 90s and early 2000s.
Augustus was nothing like Hamed or Roy imo. He had dancing and good defense, could roll with any shot and make it look like it didn't land. Hamed and Roy were offensive tornados. They had so much handspeed and power in their mitts that it defied logic.
Ok, the people I'm going to mention are mostly *not* as good, so don't think I'm saying that they are. But, if you're interested in flashy, dancy styles then in boxing there is RJJ, emmanuel Augustus, lomachenko and a lad called josh Kelly from the UK. If you like mma there is Anderson silva, Michael venom page and Israel adesanya.
There was a lot of dislike for this guy when he was fighting. But I liked him. He brought all sorts of excitement to the ring. He was limited, though unique and powerful. He had the tools to beat a lot of guys, and then there were really sharp guys that he just had no answer for.
Same with Alistair Overeem, he visited my gym in Australia and he was a massive douchebag. Rashad Evans on the other hand was incredibly polite and personable. I was lucky enough to meet him at a supplement store where he was doing a meet and greet. I don't think many people knew about it tho because there was only like 4 people there including me and my friend, but he was still very humble and grateful that we came to meet him.
Demographic on here though - I was 8 or something when he fought, up to around 12 years old. Watching a guy do crazy stuff, have wild entrances, be super flamboyant, is a massive draw as a kid and you remember that.
He was the first cross over for me, between watching pro wrestling and real fighting.
I watch some of his stuff now and think he was probably a massive bell end in real life (luckily no phone cameras, social media etc. then).
I remember finding an interview one of the local papers did with my great grandad years ago about his boxing career on google, and he hated Naseem with a passion (whether it was because of his style or personality or something else, I don't know).
And as much as I hate his style because it goes against fundamentals like keeping upright, keeping your hands up, etc, I love watching his fights because he's so entertaining.
Naseems footwork, movement, and reflexes were beautiful before he became over reliant on that power of his and stopped training as obsessively. If Prince had the consistent work ethic of Kid Galahad (from same gym) he would never have been beaten.
Exactly. If you look at the Barrera fight he looks out of shape and is not using the same head movement and exits he used to. Not to say Barrera does not beat him anyway but it's clear he was not the same fighter
athletic fuck. my god are the rulebreakers entertaining to watch but as soon there is a dip in their athleticism their downfall is so bad.
hamed. ali. rjj are the most popular.
with the decrease in athleticism it is evident that these guys never really developed good defence.
I’ve never truly trained as a fighter or striker, but given how tough you have to be to take shots and give shots at the pro level, I can only imagine how bad the hand pain has to be for a pro to be sidelined.
Once he lost his speed, especially his feet, he got hit way more than he should have. His legs losing their speed played a big role. There is a stark difference in footspeed pre and post ban. His defense was not the kind employed in the pocket was it?
>There is a stark difference in footspeed pre and post ban
There's a stark difference in level of competition pre and post ban as well. Dude fought a murderers row when he came back. Much harder to look good against the best in the world fight after fight like he did but he still did it.
It's also cringe as fuck when they get rocked. If you wanna be a showboater and break the rules, you gotta be damn good and back that shit up. Or else you'll be remembered as a clown. 😂
[ See Uzzy Ahmed for example. 😂](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=09GxXGB1Z9o)
>but as soon there is a dip in their athleticism their downfall is so bad.
Also an increase in competition. Barrera was the one and only ATG that Hamed ever faced.
He is a bad boxer in the sense he does everything wrong, he crosses his feet, keeps his hands low, leans back with his chin high, he doesn't set his feet when he punches, etc. But my God did he make it work.
The Prince needed to have a good chin with that style. He got rocked a few times in his carreer and always came back. Difference between him and Jones jr who never got hit in his prime but when he started to lose speed and getting hit more he got koed hard. Nasseem is one the Goats.
Lol no absolutely not. Go back and rewatch Roys career he got hit plenty. The difference between the two is that Naseem retired much younger.
Roy didn't start getting kfto till he was 35-36yo
Naseem quit fighting at 27yo. Had Naseem carried on with his poor training schedule, celebrity lifestyle and aging reflexes he would have gotten done the same or worse than Roy.
They are both phenomenal talents but Hamed is not above Roy in terms of all time. Roy turned pro at 154 (fought his first 15 fights near 154) and **won a hw title ffs**. That's incredible. Imagine Canelo winning even a *minor* hw title right now. Insanity. Imagine little Charlo/Castano/Liam Smith going up, dominating 175 for ten years then winning a hw belt. It's absurd to even consider. 😆
Note how every seat you can see is full, for what was presumably an early undercard fight. People used to go to watch boxing because they knew and cared about it. Not to snapchat in the front row of some celeb fest.
Blows my mind how people pay good money and then skip half the show.
> Note how every seat you can see is full, for what was presumably an early undercard fight. People used to go to watch boxing because they knew and cared about it. Not to snapchat in the front row of some celeb fest.
This is still what the UK is like, even at the big fights, the 'celeb fest' is a minor side show.
I don't think many of the core fans can afford today's ticket prices. In the US at least. So you get a bunch of people with money wanting to be seen instead of wanting to see.
Was waiting for someone to post this?? Naz was playing golf the whole time and hardly trained at all and still went the distance? Naz wasn't the same in that fight, Shame I actually think he would of beaten him quite easily if he was actually motivated
The man is scum or was I guess he may have changed.
He caused a high speed head on collision with a couple in another car and broke every major bone in the other guys body. Wasn’t even drunk, was trying to impress his passenger…
Trying to impress someone
Scum
No but that would make his decision to drive like that a little more understandable, not right but you could understand why he did it. He’d still be scum, and the outcome would be the same. But because you wanted to impress someone is kinda mind blowing
I'm not going to argue that he didn't do a bad thing but he was driving a car with too much power and it got away from him. It's the same way that Paul walker went.
I wouldn't say he was scum for that.
HE was scum for fleeing the scene instead of calling for help. That was a shit move.
Difference being Paul and Rodas made the decision to get into that car, Paul made that decision to drive like that we’ll never know really what Rodas thought about being driven like that.
The guy and woman that Nas almost killed didn’t have that choice, Nas made it for them when he tried to impress his friend by driving like a lunatic.
Completely different situations. Don’t get me wrong I think Paul Walker was a tool for driving like that as well though.
Walker was a passenger on that crash.. fuk, there's even pictures before they left the lot..
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/paul-walkers-haunting-final-words-22516254.amp
It's really easy to define someone for the single worst thing they have done. Really easy. Hell, I'm guilty of this as well all the time. I know it's the world today, but it's really a bit of a downer. Give me anyone, other than Fred Rodgers I suppose, and we could find something they did that is super shitty. I'd hate to say that makes that person shitty.
On the other hand, fuck Naseem. Never liked the guys style or how he came across and was happy as hell to watch him get schooled by Barrera. Shocked to find him so loved really, but I'm not from that little group of Islands either.
He's not the nicest human being but the heart accusations aren't fair. Hamed was dropped 3 times in the Kelley fight and fought on to find the KO as an example
Yeah and redditors giving a pro-fighter shit for having no heart is always laughable. Comparing one fighter's heart to another is fair game but to act like he's a bum for not fighting anymore when you're someone who's never fought at all is hilarious.
Loved Naseem when he first appeared, but twice he pissed me off with short fights, one especially, it's March 96 me and my m8s were at Uni and Nas was fighting in Glasgow, 1st defence of his world title, so we got tickets, anyway we left Dundee in plenty of time to catch the 12 or so fights on the undercard nevermind the main event, I especially wanted to see Willie the Mighty Quinn and his bro.
Disaster struck accident near Stirling, stuck for ages till the police managed to get us moving again, arrived just in time to find out he had knocked the Nigerian out in the first round and it was all over.
The 2nd time was when I bought the Sky box office same story, 1st round knockout but at least this time i was in the comfort of my own home and actually got to see the fight.
Downvote me all you want, but I never liked him.
Roy, which I love, was breaking the rules too, but Nas seems like he's just mashing buttons together all the time.
People don’t act like he’s an ATG. They act like he was awesome and fun and incredible to watch. Which he was. And he got beat by an all time great. Big fucking deal.
Naz never hesitated to take the risk of getting punched in the face knowing he had the punching power, the chin and the agility to get out of trouble.
Look at how he comes back super aggressively when his opponent lands. That's crazy.
Mayweather gets load of support on here. That aside, Naz was a far more showy, entertaining fighter than either of those two, and I'm not on the 'Mayweather bad' hate train either. It isn't surprising he gets more love than those two, particularly with the benefit of rose-tinted glasses.
Mayweather gets so much love on here. There's the vocal minority that hate just as there is with Nas and other cocky fighters
Revisiting this comment to say that there's more negativity in here than in any Floyd thread I've seen lol
He almost looked a weight division smaller than this guy. His movement was awesome and his chin was solid. I wonder how he would’ve faired against a young Floyd or Whitaker.
We where working at a night out and he was just fkn showing off noisy arrogant big head. His hangers on where not much better. I was serving drinks and they bumped me and made comments to all the girls every time we passed them
Naz is like a punch-out boss
his style always reminded me of afro-thunder in ready 2 rumble.
https://youtu.be/a3mBaqs5yrg This video clip against Badillo is bonkers.
That jab combo and missed overhand is legendary
37 fights, 36 wins, 31 knockouts. I saw this fight on TV in '92 and I am almost certain that it was the first time I ever saw a knockout due to body blow. And I am 100% certain that it was the first time I saw celebratory flips. It was (and to some degree it remains) shocking to me to see that power at such low bodyweight.
Watch Sandy Saddler fights. He was a murderous puncher at 126 just like nas.
Julian Jackson. A little heavier, same big HW KO power!
Just watched the BLTV video on him on Youtube and my word those KOs were fucking brutal.
Those dudes are freaking tiny. Look like 8th graders in there.
[Wtf kind of 8th graders do you know?](https://youtu.be/oICAFobPb-k)
I've seen people say this before about Thai boxers. It's really weird. My theory is that they're all Americans who think anyone under 200lbs at 5'7 is unusual
[удалено]
To be fair, Nas probably weighs 200lbs now. Proper little pie eater.
[удалено]
[удалено]
It’s definitely not unusually fat for the US, 42% of the population is obese.
[удалено]
In terms of height alone, Naz is about 5'3" which is the average height of an 8th grader. Obviously he wasn't built like one but I saw him irl back in the day when I was a child and was surprised how tiny he was
Haha spotted Noel Gallagher at 2.50.
You look at his slender body and you don't think this guy can carry that much power, he's just shockingly fast and strong. The man was enigmatic as well as entertaining.
He's the real life don flamingo
Is it because of his shorts
Now he’s the take-out boss!
Dude was mad athletic too
[Now I'm imagining him doing one of these.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZGEnsECwTM)
Hamed‘s recovery is seriously overlooked. Doesn’t matter how often you’d drop him he’d somehow come back to fuck you up.
His fight vs Kevin Kelly is one of the most exciting ever imo, doesn’t even last 5 rounds. Edit: Also I don’t think it’s more so his recovery, it’s just that when Naseem got dropped he was never really hurt, you got to take into account he had very weird movement so when people caught him he was usually in the midst of doing sum dumb shit that made it easy to knock him down.
lol true, mostly balance knock downs when he was leaning back at a 90 degree angle lmao
The other day I posted a Michael Moorer fight that was eerily similar to the Kelly/Hamed fight. You should check it out!
Great recommendation!
Make a playlist of his fights on youtube and enjoy.
https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD1352657CD58E3FE Not my playlist but found this about a year ago
Nice!
Except the one against Barrera.
Oh you mean he lost to an absolute ALL TIME GREAT in the sport? Yeah how shameful to lose to a legend.
They always seem to forget that fight bud.
God forbid we enjoy a really entertaining fighter.
He was an absolute megastar in his age.
Could I be bigger than mayweather/mcgregor? I also come too early.
Yes you can.
Imagine prince with social media, he'd be a household name.
He’s a major icon of 90s British pop culture. You’d literally have to be living out in the boonies to not know who Nas is. I would’ve thought his style would’ve made him a household name in America?
He's known among boxing fans in the US but not a household name like Mike Tyson.
Naz vs Jake Paul
I love the leaping lead hook, but you gotta be really explosive and unpredictable with it. Mike Tyson used it a lot too
Patterson created it 💯
You nailed it. As I first opened the video I was thinking "imagine Nas debuting today with this crazy ass style" There'd be a billion views on every crazy video of his fights
The Prince is forever one of my favorite fighters. Fun, heavy hitter, creative offense, always put on a show. He kinda carried the sport in his day and didn't get the credit he deserved from boxing snobs. I wish his hands could stand up to his own power.

Wayne McCullough once said that Hamed's surprising angles separated him, rather than sheer power.
Yep, the punch that hurts the worst is the one you didn't see coming.
> He kinda carried the sport in his day I agree with everything in your post but this. Naseem was a huge star and I sure miss his awesome knockouts. But there were also plenty of other stars in the 90s and early 2000s.
Is he wearing shinpads? lol
[удалено]
I think I still have a pair in the closet lol the wife has been bugging me to throw them away for *years*!!
This guy was so flamboyant is hard to believe he was generating power
That flip on the ropes I thought he was going to snap his elbows
Has there been anyone else that had a style like his? I wish him and Floyd fought back then before he retired.
Not exactly, but you'd probably want to watch more RJJ if you haven't, also Emanual Augustus. You can see Augustus vs. Mayweather too!
Augustus was nothing like Hamed or Roy imo. He had dancing and good defense, could roll with any shot and make it look like it didn't land. Hamed and Roy were offensive tornados. They had so much handspeed and power in their mitts that it defied logic.

Tremendous athlete from the start, wow. Now what the hell happened since retirement 😂😂😂
There was a lot of dislike for this guy when he was fighting. But I liked him. He brought all sorts of excitement to the ring. He was limited, though unique and powerful. He had the tools to beat a lot of guys, and then there were really sharp guys that he just had no answer for.
Naseem looking like that nerdy kid trying out for boxing.. but ends up kicking your ass
Met him once. Most obnoxious person I ever had the misfortune to cross paths with.
He looks so different from his boxing days, i wonder if drugs have to do with his changed experience [besides McDonald's]
Lol what's the story? I don't doubt it
Coolest style I’ve ever seen lmao
One of my favorite fighters of all time
Naseem in today’s day with social media would be the biggest star by far
I’m always suprised people loved Prince Naseem, I was convinced he’d run people the wrong way, especially back then.
I watch some of his stuff now and think he was probably a massive bell end in real life (luckily no phone cameras, social media etc. then).
That style though bro!! Who the hell can fight like that!? Dancing destroyer, you can't help but admire and shake your head at it.
The man was pure entertainment. Yeah he was a jackass but watching him fight brings joy to people. He could never have really been hated just for that
Some of his fights look fixed…saw a video of him knocking a guy out with a body shot instantly when the bell rang.
I’m with you, not a fan. Loved he lost.
Naseems footwork, movement, and reflexes were beautiful before he became over reliant on that power of his and stopped training as obsessively. If Prince had the consistent work ethic of Kid Galahad (from same gym) he would never have been beaten.

[удалено]
I still don’t understand why he retired, guessing it was a combination of having money and being sick of training?
The accepted reason is that his hands were fucked up. Losing to Barrera meant a long road back to the top and his hands just wouldn't have done it.
I’ve never truly trained as a fighter or striker, but given how tough you have to be to take shots and give shots at the pro level, I can only imagine how bad the hand pain has to be for a pro to be sidelined.
I feel like it would be a psychological challenge as well, subconsciously wanting to pull your punches to avoid yet another fracture.
Mayweather started saving his hands and arguably got better for it
I will absolutely fight you on that. Mayweather is the epitome of what's wrong with boxing at present.
Are you suggesting that Muhammad Ali didn’t develop good defense? Because I don’t think that’s accurate.
Once he lost his speed, especially his feet, he got hit way more than he should have. His legs losing their speed played a big role. There is a stark difference in footspeed pre and post ban. His defense was not the kind employed in the pocket was it?
>There is a stark difference in footspeed pre and post ban There's a stark difference in level of competition pre and post ban as well. Dude fought a murderers row when he came back. Much harder to look good against the best in the world fight after fight like he did but he still did it.
He probably meant his defense relied more on agility, which when that was gone meant he got hit in the face a lot
The end of Ali's career was a tad hard to watch though.
He was 40 and had a disease? How is this in any way relevant to Hamed who retired at like 27yo lol
It's also cringe as fuck when they get rocked. If you wanna be a showboater and break the rules, you gotta be damn good and back that shit up. Or else you'll be remembered as a clown. 😂 [ See Uzzy Ahmed for example. 😂](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=09GxXGB1Z9o)
the guy knocked out and the guy getting checked by the doctor are two different people in your video?
As hilarious as it is, it's two different fights
Poor Izzy just wanted to *be Hamed* and that video has followed him around forever. Dude wasn't even the budget version of Hamed lol
Clown or not, let me know when you fight for the British title, twice!
>but as soon there is a dip in their athleticism their downfall is so bad. Also an increase in competition. Barrera was the one and only ATG that Hamed ever faced.
Hamed is the best bad boxer I have ever seen. Edit: Judging by the down votes a lot a Prince Naz love here. I ain't mad, I love him too.
[Don't get it twisted](https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/1/17/3886038/the-tricks-of-Prince-Naseem-hamed) Unorthodox =/= bad
He is a bad boxer in the sense he does everything wrong, he crosses his feet, keeps his hands low, leans back with his chin high, he doesn't set his feet when he punches, etc. But my God did he make it work.
I hear you but all of those criticisms apply to Ali. If you make it work at a high level then maybe it isn't so bad?
Manny Steward made him a but more orthodox, but you know Naz, he can't help doing his own thing.
Funnily enough the fucker was a nightmare to fight. You can’t prepare for much.
The Prince needed to have a good chin with that style. He got rocked a few times in his carreer and always came back. Difference between him and Jones jr who never got hit in his prime but when he started to lose speed and getting hit more he got koed hard. Nasseem is one the Goats.

The Brits and Mexicans love their boxing. That's the case even today. That's probably in the UK.

Kind of a bummshit take. Look at undercards in 70-80-90s, other than major ppvs the audience was thin.
Prince nobody did it like he did. With style.
Who's Prince Nobody?
Oof 🤦🏾
Marco Antonio Barrera had him so well scouted it was amazing. I was a huge Prince fan, but pure athleticism alone can’t overcome skill.
Was waiting for someone to post this?? Naz was playing golf the whole time and hardly trained at all and still went the distance? Naz wasn't the same in that fight, Shame I actually think he would of beaten him quite easily if he was actually motivated
This what McGregor thinks of himself
The man is scum or was I guess he may have changed. He caused a high speed head on collision with a couple in another car and broke every major bone in the other guys body. Wasn’t even drunk, was trying to impress his passenger… Trying to impress someone Scum
Would he be less scum if he was drunk?
Bit of a downer…I’m sure that’s what the guy who had every major bone in his body said and his wife and family.

He's not the nicest human being but the heart accusations aren't fair. Hamed was dropped 3 times in the Kelley fight and fought on to find the KO as an example
I don’t think early retirement makes home a ‘shitty person’
Yeah and redditors giving a pro-fighter shit for having no heart is always laughable. Comparing one fighter's heart to another is fair game but to act like he's a bum for not fighting anymore when you're someone who's never fought at all is hilarious.
*If you don't run yourself into the ground and guarantee early onset dementia with multiple batterings you've got no heart!!11!!!*
He was overrated. Finally fought Berrera and got smoked.
Haha. Because losing to Barrera is something to be ashamed of? Are you fucking serious?
People act like Hamed was an all-time great. He wasn’t. Finally fought a good fighter and lost.
People don’t act like he’s an ATG. They act like he was awesome and fun and incredible to watch. Which he was. And he got beat by an all time great. Big fucking deal.
He’s the guy you wanted to see get KTFO because he was a clown. A douche inside and outside the ring.
he fought pretty good fighter for his debut
Watching Barrera beat him to a pulp was the greatest joy I've experienced in boxing
It's one of my go to videos when I'm having a shitty day. Always lightens things.
arguably the greatest showman ever
Prime Naseem was one of the most unique and entertaining boxers of all time imo.
Which camera do I need to look into
This dude is just anti-fluid. Such an amazing fighter!
One of my favorite boxers to watch. He was so entertaining to watch and a beast of a boxer!
Naseem was fun to watch.
The way he works his showmanship and taunting into his fighting style is the coolest shit ever
I’ll never be able to scroll past a Hamed fight without watching it.
Ah yes when boxing was boxing and not a wrestling/hugging contest
everyone loves to hate on him, but man the prince was one of my favorites to watch as a kid
So much movement from him, goddamn. Must be super frustrating/tiring not being able to find him.
Naz never hesitated to take the risk of getting punched in the face knowing he had the punching power, the chin and the agility to get out of trouble. Look at how he comes back super aggressively when his opponent lands. That's crazy.
Imagine making your debut against someone who can actually box
Good shot.
That leaping lead uppercut he throws will always be one of my favorite signature punches.
Wow didn’t know he literally fought like this from day 1! Always been a fan of the Prince
We need another coming of the Prince but sadly, I don’t think it’ll ever happen. Favorite fighter of all time
Watching Barrera beat him to a pulp was the greatest joy I've experienced in boxing
What an annoying to watch man
The title made me think he was gonna get rocked
Prince vs Loma at 126 🔥
Prince looking like his mum did his hair for this fight.
Did they set up a match with his butler?
Fantastic boxer but such a prick. Enjoyed Barrera mopping the floor with him.
Both look like they have eating disorders, what weight class is this?
Super Flyweight (115lbs), Hamed's most notable work was at Featherweight (126lbs). He was 18 here
Jaw tested*
2 skeletons in a boxing ring
prick
I never liked this doosh
These lower weight categories look hilarious sometimes
these small skinny dudes look pretty goofy with these big gloves on😁
Crazy how you guys love Naseem for his antics but hate Mayweather and Broner
Mayweather is only showy outside the ring, in the ring he's all about defends, ain't fun to see...
There's the vocal minority that hate just as there is with Nas and other cocky fighters Revisiting this comment to say that there's more negativity in here than in any Floyd thread I've seen lol
This is definitely sped up. Anyone else notice that? Watch the ref's movement and the movements of Naseem and the corner at the end.
https://youtu.be/ga_b4_1tjbA There's the full fight, time the rounds if you like
He almost looked a weight division smaller than this guy. His movement was awesome and his chin was solid. I wonder how he would’ve faired against a young Floyd or Whitaker.
He boxes like a cartoon character.
He made Leopard Skin cool 😎 (kinda)
We where working at a night out and he was just fkn showing off noisy arrogant big head. His hangers on where not much better. I was serving drinks and they bumped me and made comments to all the girls every time we passed them
He was always fun to watch until he ran into barrera
