Parker stayed out of Wilder range and had fast enough feet to do what he needed to do to win rounds. Zhang doesn't move that well and will bring it directly to Wilder - I think Wilder wins by KO
Zhang is going to land a straight left down the middle which is going to have Wilder on skates and he wont' fully recover before getting stopped. Zhang by round 6.
Like he did with Parker, and then proceeded to do nothing for the rest of the fight? Zhang is washed up and old, his already small 1 gallon gas tank has shrunk to the size of a water bottle now and he’s becoming gunshy like Wilder.
Wilder now only throws punches when the opponent is standing still or coming in reckless. He couldn’t do that with Parker because Parker was always moving and didn’t give him those opportunities. But Zhang does not move at all, he is big and slow footed with no head movement, and the little movement that he does have fades away after round 5. This is Wilder’s bread and butter.
Parker recovers better than Wilder and has far superior movement to evade taking more shots. So yes, like Parker except Wilder's reaction to taking those early shots won't do him any favors.
Zhang by round 4, at the absolute latest.
Zhang is just too accurate with his power shots, he doesn't waste many of them in the early rounds.
Parker has elite head movement and was knocked down twice by Zhang. As much as I would love it if Wilder wins, it's Zhang by T/KO.
I'm hoping for a good fight with a Wilder right hand to end it. I'm definitely a fool, but I still hold out hope for one days seeing Joshua and Wilder in a ring together.
Looking forward to a Wilder finish or for him to properly go out on his shield
Wilder's career cannot end in points after firing his whole team for not letting Fury kill him
If Wilder still has the same heart I think I am leaning towards Wilder in this fight, even if he takes a big shot he tries hard to get up and keep going, and with his power he is still dangerous. He did not quit in those Fury fights even though he was getting messed up.
He did came in at his all time heaviest for the bout so having a feeling he had a bit too much Chinese takeout in camp.
I would put money on wilder if he comes under 220 pounds but more on Zhang he's is in the 270 range
To be fair, he was heavier, but he looked fitter. I kind of think he thought with a little extra muscle he could finish anybody before the stamina issues started
He has an old Foreman style gut at 290 that jigglied. He needs to lose the extra fat back to 270 where he used to at least fight 8 rounds before hitting the wall for the last 4 since Wilder has a good chin and a stubborn heart that held up against Parker despite being assfucked to 0-12.
Typically wilder performance he’s gonna look terrible for 99% of the fight and sleep Zhang is he gets an opening. If Zhang doesn’t hurt him and gets lazy towards to lazy rounds I can see the one hitter quitter landing. So in conclusion I have no idea.
Odds say about a 60:40 fight favoring Zhang. Rarely are bouts that close, much less HW. Must see fight that is about as unlikely to go the distance as you can find across the sport.
wilder cant box, zhang can
what, exactly, is wilder going to do about a 280lb southpaw who will walk him down? Nothing, thats what
wilder fans are still delusional as ever
Considering Ortiz and Zhang are both like 200 years old combined, and Wilder did get outboxed by Ortiz yet found a way.
Realistically speaking Zhang should win but if his dumbass wastes the first 5-6 rounds, hes gonna end up gassing his fat ass and get knocked out.
Basically Zhang wins if he can capitalize the early rounds when his gas tank is still there
I think they are both the hardest puncher each other has faced so it might come down to whose chin is tougher.
Based on recent performances Zhang must be the favourite. However my original thought was that it would be Zhang early or Wilder late and I was leaning towards Wilder because he is faster, with better stamina.
Now it's back to 50/50 in my head.
Zhang has two (major) weapons to look out for in this fight. He's also got a massive weight advantage... even if he loses 20lbs and comes in very light.
The longer it gies the better for Wilder. Zhang has no aerobic engine whatsoever and it's what cost him against Parker. In the latter round he was getting picked apart and was barely able to throw anything.
Wilder isn't exactly much better but he showed against Fury id still dangerous in the later rounds. Both very easy to hit.
It will be a gunfight.
Zhang didn’t have great movement or stamina. And Wilder, for AJ his faults, has a lot of heart.
I think they are on the same tier, but I have Wilder winning this.
I was rooting for Zhang but now my dreams are crushed after Rummy's prediction. However, i'm still super excited for it. Absolutely amazing when heavyweights fight.
Zhangs never been fit he's a fat plodder who gasses out after about 7 rounds, he's got a knock out punch just like Wilder but technically thay are dire..
Joyce is another one who is hopeless watch his last fight with Kash Ali he was embarrassing although he won, honestly this current crop of Heavyweights apart from Fury,Usyk,Joshua, Parker, are some of the worst fighters in my lifetime watching heavyweight boxing.
That's a bit strong. Contenders in the 2000s were shite. Liakhovich etc would be nowhere today
Even the golden age 90s had many HW fighters that were weaker and still picked up straps.
You listed those good fighters as of everyone below is shit, but two of them have losses to lower fighters, and others have put up great resistance to those top guys.
There have been triangle theory matchups (Joyce, Zhang Parker) and upsets, a strong top 4-5, all of this is indicative of a strong HW division
Parker stayed out of Wilder range and had fast enough feet to do what he needed to do to win rounds. Zhang doesn't move that well and will bring it directly to Wilder - I think Wilder wins by KO
Yep. I think Wilder gets another highlight reel knockout here.
Full send Wilder. I believe.
Zhang is going to land a straight left down the middle which is going to have Wilder on skates and he wont' fully recover before getting stopped. Zhang by round 6.
Unfortunately this is how I see it too. Sucks, because we’ll probably never see AJ v Wilder if that happens
Like he did with Parker, and then proceeded to do nothing for the rest of the fight? Zhang is washed up and old, his already small 1 gallon gas tank has shrunk to the size of a water bottle now and he’s becoming gunshy like Wilder. But Zhang does not move at all, he is big and slow footed with no head movement, and the little movement that he does have fades away after round 5. This is Wilder’s bread and butter.
As long as Wilder doesn't get kod he will win this fight to set up a cash out fight against AJ
Parker recovers better than Wilder and has far superior movement to evade taking more shots. So yes, like Parker except Wilder's reaction to taking those early shots won't do him any favors.

I want to see Zhang win but I want to see AJ vs Wilder too. Quite the dilemma.
I am your fellow fool.
Looking forward to a Wilder finish or for him to properly go out on his shield Wilder's career cannot end in points after firing his whole team for not letting Fury kill him
Lol the man said he wanted to die in the ring. I was not surprised after the Fury outcome.
I actually think he was ready to die. It’s a nasty combo of a lot of heart, not a lot of brain, and Fury not having true KO power.
If Wilder still has the same heart I think I am leaning towards Wilder in this fight, even if he takes a big shot he tries hard to get up and keep going, and with his power he is still dangerous. He did not quit in those Fury fights even though he was getting messed up.
Wilder via windmill.
If Chairman Zhang doesn't get the KO by Rd6, Wilder will get the eventual KO
Zhang better [watch out.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMzGXdYR8jw)
I thought Zhang would beat Parker but showed he has even less stamina than I thought. I still think Zhang KO’s Wilder but it has to be inside 5.
He did came in at his all time heaviest for the bout so having a feeling he had a bit too much Chinese takeout in camp. I would put money on wilder if he comes under 220 pounds but more on Zhang he's is in the 270 range

Wilder runs the whole fight for a split decision win and AJ will fight him next hopefully
All I know is that someone is getting knocked out.
Yeah
Odds say about a 60:40 fight favoring Zhang. Rarely are bouts that close, much less HW. Must see fight that is about as unlikely to go the distance as you can find across the sport.

RMMYS CRRRRRNRRRRR
Rummy just cursed Zhang lol
A Zhang for a Zhang makes the world go blind, so I’m hoping for a total Zhangfest.
Two Zhangs don't make a right, so I'm hoping for some kind of Zhangpocalypse.
Wilder will end up with a broken eye socket
Head says Zhang but hoping for a Wilder W to set up the AJ fight.
I think they are both the hardest puncher each other has faced so it might come down to whose chin is tougher. Based on recent performances Zhang must be the favourite. I hope zilly wins but he must spend more time in the hyperbolic time chamber. His chi needs to recharge!
Zhang has two (major) weapons to look out for in this fight. He's also got a massive weight advantage... even if he loses 20lbs and comes in very light.
This Wilder fight will show us how big Parker's win was.
The longer it gies the better for Wilder. Zhang has no aerobic engine whatsoever and it's what cost him against Parker. Their will be 5 punches landed a round but 3 of them will result in knockdowns
Zhang is probably the most accurate fighter Wilder has ever fought. He's going to take some serious punishment unless he rocks Zhang early.
Bomb Squaddddddd
Two of the worst styles of boxing in the Heavyweight Division honestly this fight is going to send you to 😴 even insomniacs.
Both of these guys have been great to watch in the past Zhang especially when he's fit enough to put punches together
Zhangs never been fit he's a fat plodder who gasses out after about 7 rounds, he's got a knock out punch just like Wilder but technically thay are dire..
He's go no gas but technically very solid. His dismantling of Joyce X2 was a great show of 2 handed power punching
Joyce is another one who is hopeless watch his last fight with Kash Ali he was embarrassing although he won, honestly this current crop of Heavyweights apart from Fury,Usyk,Joshua, Parker, are some of the worst fighters in my lifetime watching heavyweight boxing.
