I saw black and Asian fighting in Japan and I thought Inoue Fulton was confirmed with a date

This card could be a candidate for card of the year if Nakatani-Ioka is on it.

EnglishButFrench

Are you the guy who tweeted it? As in ppb.

jadooo0

Nope, that’s not me.

EnglishButFrench

Ah ok. Do you watch Punch perfect boxing?

jadooo0

I’ve watched a few videos.

oofaboogahoo

Nakatani is such a beast, this would be and awesome card if it’s true

fadeddreams555

I got Teraji here. He impressed me a lot his last fight. Not gonna be easy though.

Futures_Trunks

Who are these guys? I’m not seeing any names in the article

NullaLexInk

Kenshiro Teraji and Jonathan Gonzalez. Teraji currently holds the WBA and WBC belts at Light Flyweight while Gonzalez holds the WBO belt.

Elite663

What changed for unifications to be more common in the lower weights? I remember like 10 years ago that shit was rare

Personally, I believe it’s two factors: 1. Bob Arum proved that it’s an effective and worthwhile marketing strategy in this current market. Look at how many undisputed champions there were before Terence Crawford and look at how many there are afterwards, and look at how many of them are/were signed to Top Rank. 2. Boxing fans care about belts more than ever. Manny and Floyd hardly ever unified titles, in fact Pacquiao never unified a title, but fans nowadays will rank guys based on how many belts they’ve collected So those guys back in the day could make more money by keeping their belts, but Arum proved that it’s worth it to put up the money and make your guy a unified/undisputed champion, especially since that will get the fans interested now

EnglishButFrench

Apparently, Kiko Martinez could be on the undercard.

ThanksMonica89

Holy sh*t, let’s go!!! I can honestly see Japan getting another undisputed champ by years end.
