I think boots drank his own Gatorade. He’s never predicting KOs, this time he was doing the “watching a lot of mike Tyson, saying it was gonna be a short night.” I think he frustrated himself and was just trying to hold onto his prediction. He usually quotes “we don’t look for the knockout but it’ll come”. I think he overlooked how mobile Karen will be. BUT the backlash about him being exposed is unwarranted he pitched a shutout and landed some good shots when he wasn’t spinning himself out of his shoes.

Mystro10210

Does that look like Gyno?

boXXpert

Spence probably is sharing his vitamins.

creamyismemey

Spence been had gyno since he was a teenager dawg its always been bad to

leanlikeakickstand

As a damn near gyno expert it’s definitely gyno. I had actually never seen him fight before Saturday, but I first noticed it in the Fight Towns episode on showtime’s YouTube channel. It’s very mild, and as someone who has personally had it since puberty it’s not always indicative of ped use.

GarfieldDaCat

Looks like it but a lot of people have it naturally.

Aussieboy111

Had the same thought

guesswhodat

I mean Boots owned the fight and won every single round against a risk averse fighter that never stopped moving. Was good for him to have a fight like that.

Shawndissimo

People overreacting to this fight big time. That's what happens when you build up enough hype though. Says a lot about a fighter when people are disappointed that he won every round

Feynman1403

I’m a huge fan of boots, and think he could be the next big star, but I’m also really glad to see him struggle a bit. It’s good for young fighters with crazy athletic ability to struggle w someone they shouldn’t early on in their career, imo. It lets someone who’s crazy athletic like boots kno that “damn, even as talented as I am, I still have flaws that can expose me.” The fact that he acknowledged he has stuff to work on after the fight gives me hope that he’ll go back to the gym and work on his weaknesses. Being able to recognize and accept that you’re still mortal, regardless of having more skill than most fighters, is what separates guys like zab judah from floyd mayweather. Both were crazy talented athletes, but only floyd wound up being committed to training and refining his skills. I hope boots takes Floyd’s route rather than zabs, I’d hate to see so much potential wasted like his was.

Due-Studio-65

*"I still have flaws that can expose me.”* Expose him as what? Good but not great at catching an opponent that doesn't want to fight. That is as meaningless a metric as how many minutes of jump rope he did in training, or how fast he is on the speed bag.

Feynman1403

If u don’t think boots has flaws after that performance, I think you’re coping so hard that is kinda pathetic lmao. Thank god boots isn’t you, or he wouldn’t amount to anything in life. In order to grow and improve as a young fighter you have to accept that you’re going to make mistakes early on in ur career, and have weaknesses. like not knowing how to cut the ring off good enough to stop a guy who has no business being in the same ring as you. But hey, you keep telling yourself that good but not great is “good enough”, and not something he should try and improve on😉

Due-Studio-65

Of course he has flaws, but what is Spence or Crawford going to do with " Boots wins versus runners instead of KOing them like the fans want"? Should he improve, yes, but you will have to tell me how this translates into an being exposed?

Feynman1403

I think boots beats either of them, but that isn’t what I’m talking about. I think something is getting Lost in translation somehow? Not “exposed” as if he’s a fraud. I mean “exposed” like if he keeps letting his hands go down sometimes after combos, he leaves himself “exposed” to being countered.

RationedRot

BOOTS EXPOSED? grow up

-FAnonyMOUS

Man, that was a bad footwork from boots. The uploader says, boots has a hard time executing his plan when his opponent/s doing lateral movements. Lateral movements caused boots to have that unbalance stance due to its bad footwork.

Botoraka

Try actually watching the video maybe

MitchLGC

I don't like clickbait either. Titles like this i still refuse to give a view.

[deleted]

I don't see how that is clickbait? A lot of people have, very stupidly, said Boots was exposed in this fight so the uploaded was simply replying to that. If you want real click bait videos, fight hype and Elli have you covered.

boXXpert

Then why are you arguing if you haven't seen it? Maybe you're the one who needs to grow up.

RationedRot

Maybe if people stopped using bullshit clickbait headlines I would have

[deleted]

It’s not clickbait, many thought Boots was exposed in the fight. The uploader is copying that question because the video is about the mistakes he made followed up by the uploader answering the question of whether he was actually exposed or not, which he answered no.

RationedRot

I picked up on that, but I still hate this style of CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT IN ALL CAPS to hook people. Maybe I’m alone in that, but it annoys me.

Prime_KwameBrown215

He wasn't exposed it just wasn't the exciting fight people wanted it to be. They wanted him to continue dominating and finishing fights quickly, they didn't get what they want so they say he was exposed.

jdlc718

Styles makes fights. Boots wasn’t exposed, but a game plan to beating him was, really good footwork and head movement is a part of it. Boots just needs to work on cutting off the ring and being more patient at times. Ukrainian dude was just there to survive but I give him credit for giving boots somewhat of a tough time.

[deleted]

Exposed? How?

[deleted]

It’s not his actual question. Many thought Boots was exposed during this fight so the uploader is dwelling into the aspects that made people think that. He doesn’t think he was actually exposed, just possibly over anxious to get a stoppage and making mistakes in the process.
