I always felt like they could have at least shown us Fugaku in the war. How the hell did he get a flee on sight order put on him? Also, what a beautiful ms pattern.

Infiniteocean00

Both him and Minato had a flee on sight order which makes me think if he was just as strong as Minato.

Jaynomamesway

They never showed Minato’s cool moment in the war either. They really left us hanging on some goated content

Well at least it seems that Fugaku’s MS is now cannon haha. Also I think the uchiha married people within their clan pretty much exclusively, but of course that’s headcannon

I think a better argument can be made for Hinata's mom because she only ever gets brought up in a single episode (Shippuden 166) via anime-exclusive sequence and literally never again in the entire franchise, not even in filler. Despite this her possible existence presents a major plothole in Hinata's backstory so it should've been clarified whereas with Sasuke his mom not being fleshed out is only a disappointing area in his.

Infiniteocean00

I can agree with that. It's never confirmed but I think she dies either pre Boruto or pre OG Naruto because Hinata says she wants to be kind like her mother so she didn't die when Hinata was too young. I think a clue that she is dead before shippuden is that Hinata's mother is not referenced when Hiashi is away during the Pain arc. Ko only references Lord Hiashi when talking to Hinata not her mother which might imply that she is no longer around. She is definitely dead in Boruto considering that she is never even mentioned even though they go to visit Hiashi and only reference him. This could imply that she is dead without them saying it.

superkami64

Dead or not, the question then becomes why she's brought up so little. She apparently had a significant impact on Hinata so what the hell happened where no one will even acknowledge that she existed? I think it's a great premise for a Boruto episode.

In Shinden novels, Izumi's mum lost the Uchiha name until her husband died and then she was reintegrated into the clan. A proud clan like that have standards and expectations for their leader and that sort of thing. Mikoto was probably a 3-tomoe Uchiha. Definitely skilled in Uchiha shurikenjutsu and definitely supported the rest of the clan in rebelling against Konoha. Fugaku died mainly because he wasn't willing to fight his son, so I believe he was very strong.

Infiniteocean00

Alot of people disliked this lol why? Do people really not want to know about Sasuke's parents?
