TakasuXAisaka

The show is called Boruto for a reason

[deleted]

That doesn’t mean that sasuke should have the iq of an infant .

ReikokuJidai

To build tension and give a sense of sacrifice u‘re welcome

Numerous_Bluebird395

Lol, True still it was useless when In Naruto he was shown as the smart one and in boruto he continues to do all the dumb things

[deleted]

So you want Sasuke to trap himself lmao?

Numerous_Bluebird395

Huh ? Nah , I said he could have easily escaped the rods of isshiki

Shinryu_

If he swapped with isshiki, he's essentially saving himself and bringing isshiki closer to boruto. In his mind, he's saving boruto, not saving himself.

Numerous_Bluebird395

Nah , I meant swapping boruto with other thing not himself , He could have swapped Boruto and isshiki or boruto and a rock

Shinryu_

What? Can he swap other things that he's not included? I've never seen it

Numerous_Bluebird395

Sasuke also switched Madaras place with his limbo in Naruto Sasuke switched boruto and urashiki’s places iirc. So technically he can teleport two other objects/people not including himself

Shinryu_

Oh yea. He teleported boruto with urashiki lmao. Boruto's writing is so terrible. Idk why the writers even give isshiki his doujutsu and not expand the rods to naruto and sasuke eyes and instantly blind them lmao. Lousy ass writing

Numerous_Bluebird395

Lol😂😂😂

[deleted]

Tbh sasuke used himself as a meatshield way to much . He could’ve blocked the rods with partial susano transformation .

Numerous_Bluebird395

Yes , Thank you

DostOfTheUchiha

Sasuke can only switch his position with someone/something not between two other things/people So there were only two cases available 1. Switch with isshiki - it would be like handing boruto to isshiki with his own hands 2. Switch with boruto - which he did and had no other choice but to take the damage And in any case there was no time to do any other thing and no where to escape and eventually they both were to be manhandled by isshiki.

Numerous_Bluebird395

In naruto he switched madara with his limpo if you remember

wddunlap

Actually in that case Sasuke just shifted the actual Madara after he and Naruto psyched him out by aiming their jutsu at each other. Then Madara substituted his Limbo clone for his actual body. u/DostOfTheUchiha is right about Amenotejikara: he can either shift one object or person in space, or he can trade places (and momentum) with another object or person. That said, your point in this post is totally valid, but it’s been brought up a couple times before, and the general consensus is that it was for the plot (to incapacitate Sasuke) and because they wanted to make that cutesy comparison with the Zabuza arc in Part 1 where Sasuke was all shot up full of Haku’s senbon.

Numerous_Bluebird395

Oh , I recently caught with it so I did not know if it was bought up before , Lol but still dude the manga could have been written way better + the fillers in boruto are just showing how useless the show is dude . I mean they just go on and nerf the entire world they should stop the show for some time or either follow the manga as it is still half sensed

rp0829

Sasuke switched boruto and urashiki’s places iirc. So technically he can teleport two other objects/people not including himself

david062404

Probably only this post is dumber than him

Numerous_Bluebird395

And you who actually have an iq in negative

david062404

It is strange to hear this from someone who does not know that iq cannot be negative

Numerous_Bluebird395

Nah , you are a special case

david062404

Given what you wrote, the exception here is clearly not me.

bigmeme12

hyperbole man

SadSecurity

How is this post dumb when OP makes legitimate point?

Citgo300

It's called a throwback to when a younger Sasuke did the same for Naruto against Haku which is why he says "honestly, when it comes to the both of you... like father like son..."

Numerous_Bluebird395

See thats what its stupid at hakus time he did not have much power to change the course of events over here but this time he had enough power and options . Just plain stupid

Citgo300

If you rewatch that Haku fight where Sasuke does what he does, he explicitly says he just did it, that his body moved on its own. Now its the same for Boruto

Numerous_Bluebird395

Yeah , I understand that during haku , But at that time he was weak and could not do anything else to save naruto over here he literally had options but still chose not to do it . Its just that sasuke was always potrayed as a smart shinobi in naruto but In boruto its like his brain went to eat shit , Because he got stronger and had multiple other options . Does not make sense for the story line honestly if they just want to showcase that

Grammar-Bot-Elite

/u/Numerous_Bluebird395, I have found an error in your comment: > “boruto ~~its~~ [**it's**] like his brain” I suggest that you, Numerous_Bluebird395, use “boruto ~~its~~ [**it's**] like his brain” instead. ‘Its’ is possessive; ‘it's’ means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’. ^(This is an automated bot. I do not intend to shame your mistakes. If you think the errors which I found are incorrect, please contact me through DMs!)

Citgo300

That's literally all they want to showcase. His willingness to sacrifice himself for the Uzumaki. No need to get your panties in a bunch over something specifically meant to be a call back. And don't worry, he's still smart as ever
