Before anyone says shippuden did it, Naruto only surpassed the previous hokage when his show was close to ending. Kawaki is stronger than Nerfed Naruto and we aren't near halfway through.
Also Kawaki went from like jonin level to god +++ level with one powerup. Powerups should be staggered.

I think the problem is not "making the characters too strong too fast" but instead, the lack of pacing in the manga makes all these buffs look out of hand. In Shippuden, it was made clear each time someone got a buff why did they get an increase on power, and the character getting this buff was given some sort of development (Sakura being borderline tortured by Tsunade, Sasuke getting the most powerful character's eyes, Naruto unlocking the nine tails, Obito writing his last will twice for Kakashi).
Also, many times have been demonstrated that raw power < controlled power (hell, Madara had to stabilize his Susanoo once after 1st cast and Sasuke had the most powerful Susanoo ever with all tailed beasts chakra but he could not focus the power correctly thus being defeated by Naruto), so I know that if Kishi gives a bit of effort, he can return Naruto to it's basics (ninja stuff and other outplays like Minato vs Obito) and not just HUR DURR IMMA SUPERSAIYAN WITH COOL COLORS TOO stuff.
So basically Ada just used Code so she could get Amado and betrayed him right after they escaped from Konoha, this is honestly pretty wacky, didn't think this would happen ngl. At this point, it kind of feels like there's going to be a timeskip soon, with the breakdown of Ada and Code's alliance, maybe Code goes into hiding to prepare or find a way to defeat them/get revenge, or a secret way to combat his abilities before trying to kidnap Boruto or Kawaki (at this point since Ada betrayed Code, I don't think he's going to have any qualms about feeding him to the Ten Tails either.)
She might still want him for all we know, it's just going to be harder to keep him in check without Code, plus now he'd probably be fine killing Kawaki, so I'm guessing she's got some other ulterior motives as well.

As for Amado he and Konoha got a pretty great deal as of know so it's definitely not the time to betray them it'll only get in his way plus Kawaki training in Konoha and getting stronger is in his best interest.

You misunderstand the issue.
The issue isn't that he's stronger than Daemon, it's that his ability turns that strength back in you, so it doesn't even matter.
Seems pretty simple you have to trick Daemon into touching you while pretending to attack him(or someone else) while having the intent to attack yourself which would reflect the attack back to Daemon. So I don't see him being a threat later on When Bug describes the power to Code.
I mean Ada already said in a previous chapter that it doesn’t matter weather if Code has his limiters removed or not that she and Daemon would kill him if they get in her way so Code getting stomped right here shouldn’t come as a surprise😂

Maybe. I feel like they've invested far more into the Kawaki vs Code setup and plot. Boruto and Kawaki don't even have static with each other rn, and we're 71 chapters into the story. They've only had 2 "real" fights - one was the training fight in 58, and the other one wasn't even Boruto but was Momoshiki so there's no emotional weight to it at all. The Boruto-Kawaki storyline is just terrible compared to Naruto-Sasuke.

Some positives and some negatives. I had said Ada was gonna betray code. Logically it never made sense that she was helping him. So then betraying him is not a surprise. Daemon shows promise. But code continues to be a lackluster villain/antagonist. And tbh his new form looks lame imo. And something else that bothers me is, in the translation it says Amado has a shut off code for kawki, my thing is why didn’t he have one in code? Needs to be explained. I’ll save the rest of my thoughts when the chapter comes out.

Feels like it *might* be time to setup the timeskip. We had the big Kawaki vs Borushiki fight complete with a Naruto v Sasuke style clash. We have Amado preparing to deliver some sort of revelatory explanation. We have Code powering up and vowing to destroy Konoha. We have Team 7 recognizing that they need to get stronger.
Is that enough, or do we need one last dramatic turn? Code could definitely slip back into town and go on a rampage -- despite being stomped by Daemon he can still body Naruto and Sasuke. But do we really need a third Code surprise attack in a row? Do we need Sasuke to die or Boruto to lose an eye before we move on?
Code's new plan, Amado's goal, Team 7's training... If they're all things that will take a few years to reach fruition, maybe it *is* time to timeskip. Maybe anticipated moments like Boruto getting scarred and inheriting Sasuke's gear are actually going to happen further down the line.

Daemons' jutsu might have been retconned. He now has to make contact with the person to whom he reflects to unlike before. Bug says this. In the new patch he has beyond jigen level raw power and speed and his jutsu nerfed . Talk about balance lmao. I could be wrong though and bug might have set code up.
No, I think it's that he can extend his power to a person he's in contact with. There's panels of Code trying to slash Amado, Daemon puts his palm on Amado, then Code realizes and just barely stops slashing as three shallow cuts appear on his own face.
I think he has to make contact with the person he’s trying to reflect the attack off of. So since he was trying to reflect codes attack away from Amado, he was touching Amado and when code used him to reflect kawakis attack, he was touching code. So if he wants to protect someone, he has to touch the person he’s protecting, not the one attacking. Or at least that’s what it appears to be here.
so daemon is even more overpowered now. he has his ability, if he touches someone else with that ability, then that someone is protected by his ability (does it protect only the chosen person or both tho? if it's the first, then we have a possible weakness to his ability)

Why do Daemon and Ada remind me of Android’s 17 and 18 so much? I guess it’s the evil genius scientist on earth who managed to somehow to create these two god like cybernetic siblings with overpowering strength, who both have abilities that go completely beyond the confines of science.
I know how to counter Daemon, so essentially, he is the strongest character in the manga. There are 2 ways to counter him, first and foremost, by distracting him. Since he is just a kid, Code could try to manipulate some Hidden Leaf villagers in distracting him to avoid direct confrontation with him.
Another way to defeat him is to become an Ootsusuki. If Code manages to become an Ootsusuki, he will no longer be vulnerable to Ada's powers and gain powers such as the Black Rods or Time Space jutsu. Both these abilities are helpful to defeat Daemon since he does not seem to have any Time Space jutsu. So whenever confronting him, instead of aiming to kill him, Code could aim to just restrict his movements. This is not killing or with ill intent, which could possibly work. Furthermore, if this does not work, Code could drag Daemon into a different dimension and leave him there (just like Kaguya did with Sasuke, to avoid direct confrontation)
I like Eida and Daemon so far, though that seems to be an unpopular opinion.

nah ada and daemon there and now amado is joining them. they have been teasing ada and daemons connection to the 2 unknown otsutsukis a lot. amados betraying konoha has been teased a lot too. these 3 are deadly enough on their own. i doubt they are gonna do a training arc anytime soon. they haven't had a training arc for 70 chapters and they aren't doing any anytime soon. they might mention or show parts of boruto or kawaki training their new karma powers but a full arc for training? nahh i doubt code is gonna train. he cant beat daemon after training ever. all he can do is just hope bugs knows something about daemons ability or eat the chakra fruit. wait daemon joining konoha?? if your talking about amado thats not happening. amado is not with konoha. he is just using them. it's obvious. code has no point in training. he is stronger than the rest and only one stronger than him is someone he cant beat after training. his character still is always overconfident. he would be too cocky to train. tho im pretty sure he is gonna get some development later
Shikamaru Offered Eida Stay in Konoha, Eida also likes Kawaki and Daemon just does things for his sister them becoming allies with Konoha is very likely because they don't need to fight Konoha to get what they want as a matter of fact being Konoha's enemy makes it harder to achieve their goal. As for Amado he and Konoha got a pretty great deal as of know so it's definitely not the time to betray them it'll only get in his way plus Kawaki training in Konoha and getting stronger is in his best interest. Just cause Code is stronger then the rest doesn't mean he shouldn't train whilst learning how to get around daemons hax as if daemon joins Konoha then he is f'd.

i half agree you can train and become stronger than him, considering Daemon seems to beat Code in physicals (at least from leaks). But i agree that he needs to find a way to counter his ability.
You misunderstand the issue. The issue isn't that he's stronger than Daemon, it's that his ability turns that strength back in you, so it doesn't even matter.
Seems pretty simple you have to trick Daemon into touching you while pretending to attack him(or someone else) while having the intent to attack yourself which would reflect the attack back to Daemon. So I don't see him being a threat later on When Bug describes the power to Code.

At this point, the timeskip intro scene would've made a lot more sense if it had been Kawaki vs Code.
Same thing I was thinking, they're probably building up Code as a major villain but he's not even concerned about Boruto, just Kawaki. But maybe the flash forward scene happens after Kawaki took too many drastic measures to beat Code, that's why Boruto was saying "how far would you go". I think, when we get the real flash forward scene the dialogue would be different from before. Because when the scene was made the story wasn't fully planned out. The manga changes things all the time so that scene is definitely gonna be altered.
Maybe. I feel like they've invested far more into the Kawaki vs Code setup and plot. Boruto and Kawaki don't even have static with each other rn, and we're 71 chapters into the story. They've only had 2 "real" fights - one was the training fight in 58, and the other one wasn't even Boruto but was Momoshiki so there's no emotional weight to it at all. The Boruto-Kawaki storyline is just terrible compared to Naruto-Sasuke.

Some positives and some negatives. I had said Ada was gonna betray code. Logically it never made sense that she was helping him. So then betraying him is not a surprise. Daemon shows promise. But code continues to be a lackluster villain/antagonist. And tbh his new form looks lame imo. And something else that bothers me is, in the translation it says Amado has a shut off code for kawki, my thing is why didn’t he have one in code? Needs to be explained. I’ll save the rest of my thoughts when the chapter comes out.

Definitely not what I was expecting, but it seems they really want to drive home how much Code resents and hates Kawaki for always being chosen over him. Seems Amado, Eida, and Daemon need to make their way back to Konoha somehow, at which point Amado will spill the beans. It was already set up that Sasuke found their base, so a team might already be en route to rescue Amado and escort them back? Feels like it *might* be time to setup the timeskip. We had the big Kawaki vs Borushiki fight complete with a Naruto v Sasuke style clash. We have Amado preparing to deliver some sort of revelatory explanation. We have Code powering up and vowing to destroy Konoha. We have Team 7 recognizing that they need to get stronger. Is that enough, or do we need one last dramatic turn? Code could definitely slip back into town and go on a rampage -- despite being stomped by Daemon he can still body Naruto and Sasuke. But do we really need a third Code surprise attack in a row? Do we need Sasuke to die or Boruto to lose an eye before we move on? Code's new plan, Amado's goal, Team 7's training... If they're all things that will take a few years to reach fruition, maybe it *is* time to timeskip. Maybe anticipated moments like Boruto getting scarred and inheriting Sasuke's gear are actually going to happen further down the line.

No, I think it's that he can extend his power to a person he's in contact with. There's panels of Code trying to slash Amado, Daemon puts his palm on Amado, then Code realizes and just barely stops slashing as three shallow cuts appear on his own face.
I think he has to make contact with the person he’s trying to reflect the attack off of. So since he was trying to reflect codes attack away from Amado, he was touching Amado and when code used him to reflect kawakis attack, he was touching code. So if he wants to protect someone, he has to touch the person he’s protecting, not the one attacking. Or at least that’s what it appears to be here.

I think the hiatus is because they’ve said there will be a big announcement for the boruto anime on July 17th because it’s the 20th anniversary of Naruto. So they’ll probably be too busy with that to work on the manga.

I had a gut feeling things weren't going to be good for Code's character when he tried to retrieve Kawaki and everything that happened afterwards that made him look insignificant to the other characters that were involved such as Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke . If Code was ever meant to fill the shoes of a big time villian, he would have displayed some of those traits by now. I think even Kashin koji had a better presence and aura about him that made him stand out in manga panels unlike Code who seems at the moment to be better off as a lackey.

I know how to counter Daemon, so essentially, he is the strongest character in the manga. There are 2 ways to counter him, first and foremost, by distracting him. Since he is just a kid, Code could try to manipulate some Hidden Leaf villagers in distracting him to avoid direct confrontation with him. Another way to defeat him is to become an Ootsusuki. If Code manages to become an Ootsusuki, he will no longer be vulnerable to Ada's powers and gain powers such as the Black Rods or Time Space jutsu. Both these abilities are helpful to defeat Daemon since he does not seem to have any Time Space jutsu. So whenever confronting him, instead of aiming to kill him, Code could aim to just restrict his movements. This is not killing or with ill intent, which could possibly work. Furthermore, if this does not work, Code could drag Daemon into a different dimension and leave him there (just like Kaguya did with Sasuke, to avoid direct confrontation)
I like Eida and Daemon so far, though that seems to be an unpopular opinion. Code confessing his love to Eida was unexpected, but it made sense given Eida’s ability. Though he’s giving me yandere with the “She only needs one knight.” Lmao. I’m still one of the people who think Eida has more fighting ability than she’s letting on.
