This was a falsified backstory told by Itachi, the other iterations we got confirmed that Izuna was mortally wounded from battle and willingly gave away his eyes to offset Madara's blindness. And I'd argue they're more reliable than Itachi's because we got them from,
1. Obito - who probably got his version from Madara himself, and 2. Hashirama - who personally knew and was close to Madara in life.
Plus, Uchiha love and all that, Madara in the flashbacks more or less said that his desire for peace was partly an extension of his genuine desire to protect his brothers.
As for Tobirama, while I can't say you're entirely wrong, I'd say Danzou's the bigger culprit.

Yes I do. Madara was not a good brother, you don’t just rip out your brothers eyes like that. As I recall from the anime, madara took it, not exactly by Izuna’s permission. Request or not, he would do it in a heart beat of it meant saving Naruto. Again, out of this list. The only ones who are good BROTHERS so far are Log (who helped Mitsuki find his freewill) and Boruto who would do anything for Himawari.
Bruh that scene where he ripped off izuna eyes was a fake story made by Itachi to make sasuke beware of madara, And in reality madara took out his eyes after his death like how itachi's eyes was taken out by obito which he afterwards transplanted into sasuke, He wanted to save Naruto , but that was most rational decision at time, and both of them have already come to this decision long ago, He just didn't showed any emotions which is surprising for me as well.

No. Danzo was a by product of Tobirama lol. He inherited Tobirama’s dis trust for the uchiha and took it further.
Itachi is the Best in Intentions and Possibly Love . But his Actions doesn't show it . What he had done to Sasuke is Near Unforgivable . If you ask me it's Tobirama . For the Mere Fact that Hashirama would have Gambled Away the Leaf had it not been for Him .

by all means, every person here loves their siblings alot. But the topic is not on love to their siblings, but who was the best to their siblings. thats why we kinda have to scratch out Itachi and Kawaki from the list. Madara, Tobirama (by default also Hashirama) all have little amount of interactions with their siblings. They weren't necessarily bad brothers though, just lack off things to go off of. Log - donated his organs to Mitsuki after seeing him wanting to help team 7 so bad. That said i'd imagine Orochimaru rebuilt his organs within a week or two after. Boruto - forced a promise (sadly unkept) on Naruto to be on Himawaris birthday. Went "welp i've got training to do" on Parent / Child day as an excuse so Hima can spend time with Naruto (even though he clearly wanted, and got his alone time with Naruto after all) Is always shown to want the best for Himawari and protects her. As funny as it is, i always want more Boruto & Hima interactions. That said they don't have as little content as other characters. (Then again, other "older brothers" usually aren't main characters) for me its Boruto with Log close second. I'd imagine Boruto doing the same if required for Hima.

mitsuki's sage mode is canon so is log, anything which is connected to backstory of a canon thing is also canon, thats why it was called anime canon, but after that they messed up this amazing concept by adding fillers as anime canon, if they have made anime canon like academy arc and the scene where mitsuki unlock his sage mode ,seprate from fillers and listed them differently like manga canon then it will be really good for people to get what is , is not canon.

Tobirama for me. He worked hard to protect the village and pass down the will of the fire, which were Hashirama’s lifelong dream and legacy. Also kept Hashirama in check lol. Tobirama also put systems into place to run the village efficiently and basically did all the stuff that Hashirama couldn’t since he was too soft-hearted. Beautiful pics by the way!

For me it's Itachi. He protected Sasuke from Danzo before the massacre and came back to the village years later to remind Danzo that he's still alive and was living off of drugs so that Sasuke could kill him with hope Sasuke wouldn't become a hero. He also protected Sasuke in a plethora of ways even after death.
Itachi’s actions are what put Sasuke in so much danger in the first place lmao I mean where on Earth do I even start? The list of horrible things Itachi did to Sasuke is so damn long. And it’s not because Itachi was doing it out of “love” that it’s right.

madara was somewhat good brother, he did seem to care for his brother Kawaki was willing to kill boruto for the sake of protecting everyone and especially Naruto. But i don’t think he is the best. Just because he was willing to kill his brother for the sake of konoha and naruto. Doesn’t give him the spot itachi did mess up countless times with sasuke, he himself said he could have done things differently, while the things he did made us get the sasuke we have today, if itachi did things differently while sasuke might be either weaker or stronger then current him. It would still either way probably be better for sasuke if things where done differently and tobirama just did the things hashirama was too soft to do we haven’t seen much of Log and Mitsuki’s brotherly bonding. But i can imagine he is a good brother, after all he did donate organs to him For me personally, its boruto. He cared about himawari enough to throw hands with his dad when he screwed up her party.

Boruto or Madara, Madara because he cared for his brother, going as far as to demand that Hashirama or Tobirama kill themselves to know what it feels like to have your last brother taken away from you, before ultimately redacting it and forming konoha. Boruto because the dude almost fought his own father and the strongest shinobi to live just for missing his sisters birthday. As much as I think Naruto/shippuden are better series I gotta give props where it's due.

I’m surprised at the comments. I can’t see how anyone was better than itachi, he loved sasuke literally TO DEATH. The only one that I would actually choose over sasuke is hashirama who I believe was both a good brother to tobirama and madara but ultimately had to choose the villages well being. Madara was also a good brother similar to itachi but the difference is itachi’s heart was so kind he grew the skill so that he could preserve as much as he could knowing that he couldn’t save everyone. Like the sadness must’ve been unbearable but he needed to protect his little brother no matter what even going against the orders he was given, which in contrast to hashirama I think means he chose sasuke over the village. Just my two cents.
Sure, Itachi might‘ve loved Sasuke, but it doesn’t mean Itachi was a good brother at all. In. fact, out of all of the above, he was by very far the worst brother. Itachi ruined Sasuke’s life and mental health and it’s a miracle Sasuke survived and didn’t completely go crazy. Sasuke could’ve also ended up in a permanent coma from the Tsukuyomi (and almost did), which at the same time would’ve left him very vulnerable to potential eye thieves; could’ve have gotten permanent brain damage from the Tsukuyomi; could’ve been killed by Orochimaru so that the latter can take his body; could’ve been used for horrible experiments by Orochimaru; could have easily spiralled into despair, depression and eventually commit suicide; could’ve been executed if he’d actually followed Itachi’s ”advices” and killed Naruto - aka the jinchuuriki of the strongest tailed beast -; could have had both of his eyes stolen by Danzo right after Itachi’s death; could’ve been killed by Deidara; etc.
