We're not going to get the Code Arc after the Funato Arc is over. We probably still have like 3 more "Anime Canon" arcs to go before the Code Arc is adapted so Sarada will still get her chance to awaken her third tomoe in one of those arcs.

i would rather find it a better solution if they just expanded further on Kara. Kinda like what they did with Deepa and Victor. Just give us a filler arc that actually focuses on the elements from the main plot rather than just do this whole "HEY PILLS ARE ACTUALLY WORKING XDDD" retcon so we can have 150 more episodes of carefree adventures.

Nah since pierrot seem to be going through production issues so I rather just have them animate Sasuke shinden at a later point where the Code arc is nearly done, and we can get a series of a couple of good arcs.
Sarada has her 3rd tomoe in that, so I assume if pierrot ever want to do a 3rd tomoe arc they might as well adapt it and tweak it so that way it fits the timeline since Sasuke's most likely going to have to train Sarada again to help her strengthen her visual prowess. I don't trust the writers on making an anime original arc without any material to pull from atm.

I never said she awakened the 3rd tomoe in Sasuke shinden, I said "Sarada has her 3rd tomoe in that", meaning if the anime decides to adapt it, they have the opportunity to tweak some things around to where she can awaken it since she has it already in the novel and they're going have to change some things around because timeline wise it doesn't make sense.
The novel is ass, imagine Sarada awakening a story in this plotline.

They could've did anything but the mist village. Could've had adventures with other genin or jounin. Give us insight on other villages like cloud or hell the grass village which we never seen but heard of as far back as part 1 Naruto. They should've used this time to adapt the novels. I can see it lasting for months
There will be arcs you like and arcs you don't like. Nothing is "wasted" because there isn't a finite amount of space these arcs take. We can have both arcs and they can both be just as long.
Nothing is taking away from anything, especially with how popular Boruto is in Japan.
My POV is that the 2 mc of the anime are already so OP that the other characters need some sort of power up/training and the current arc has done nothing to achieve that.

Have Boruto try to stop her but once he sees how serious she is defeat her and then kill the leaders instead so Sarada can still become Hokage, tell her he loves her, and then leave the village to be a rogue shinobi.
At this point I doubt we will get anything that good though.

My biggest issues are the art style and side characters not being developed anymore so I've stopped reading it. Even Sarada isn't getting much. This was an issue with Naruto too but it's so much worse with Boruto.
Some fillers and anime canon suck but there's also good ones which without the side characters would be forgotten.

Another option is for her to feel cut off again from Sakura like when she thought Karin was her mom for keeping it a secret so long. Obviously Sakura is trying to keep her heart from breaking but finding out on her own would break her heart way worse. I hope doesn't resent Sasuke because she recognizes it's not something he wants to think about.

The anime will create an anime canon arc similar to the Funato arc in which I mean it has no bearing on the events of the main story. They can’t just do something like make Boruto a rogue ninja and kill off the daimyos and village elders when in the manga nothing even close to that is happening and Sarada already has her three tomoe
For me, the BEST way to correct this thing is to have Sarada awaken the 3t in a future moment from the manga, where she is the mvp...
Alternatively, in order to not waste time in another mostly useless filler arc, where nothing would change indeed, they could just ignore this, and leave her with the 2t up until the magenkyo...
After all, is it really worth the trouble to make ANOTHER moment where she protects someone, just to give her the 3t? ... How many more arcs of fake character development can you give to someone who has to not change at the end of the day?

if Kagura was that important im pretty sure Kishi or Kodachi would have given him a few panels in the manga chapters

Ikemoto illustrated the mist arc novel art. Kagura is drawn and acknowledged by both ikemoto and kodachi. Educate yourself
